Aero-optical wavefront measurement technique based on BOS and its applications

A collimated light beam will be refracted if it propagates through a flow-field with index-of-refraction variations,and its wavefront will be *** we measure the deflection angle of the light beam,the gradient of the wavefront can be obtained using the Malus law,and the wavefront aberration can be computed with a reconstruction *** characteristics of background oriented schlieren(BOS) are conducive to wavefront aberration measurement:BOS can be used to measure the deflection angle of a light beam by measuring the displacement field between the reference image and the experiment ***,in a BOS system of Schlieren mode,only the ray perpendicular to the background image can be captured with a *** is helpful to measure wavefront aberrations that occur after a planar wavefront has passed through the *** on these characteristics of BOS of Schlieren mode,a new wavefront measurement technique,which is called the BOS-based wavefront technique(BOS-WT),is proposed in this *** works by constructing the relationship between the displacement of the background image and the aero-optical wavefront gradient and uses the Southwell wavefront reconstruction algorithm.A BOS-WT system was assembled,and its temporal resolution was found to be 6 ns,and its temporal-correlation resolution reached 0.2 μs.A BOS-WT can measure the time-correlation transient wavefront *** is simple and easy to *** this paper,we also present a study of the aero-optical performance of supersonic mixing layer based on our BOS-WT transient wavefronts at an interval of 5 μ*** results showed the wavefront was transient and distorted after it had passed through the mixing *** the analysis of the data at the 5 μs interval,the temporal evolution of wavefront can be obtained.

Different fates of neural stem/progenitor cells(NSPCs)and their progeny are determined by the gene regulatory network,where a chromatin-remodeling complex affects synergy with other ***,we review recent research progress indicating that the BRG1/BRM-associated factor(BAF)complex plays an important role in NSPCs during neural development and neural developmental *** studies based on animal models have shown that mutations in the BAF complex may cause abnormal neural differentiation,which can also lead to various diseases in *** discussed BAF complex subunits and their main characteristics in *** advances in studies of human pluripotent stem cells and the feasibility of driving their differentiation into NSPCs,we can now investigate the role of the BAF complex in regulating the balance between self-renewal and differentiation of *** recent progress in these research areas,we suggest that three approaches should be used in investigations in the near *** of whole human exome and genome-wide association studies suggest that mutations in the subunits of the BAF complex are related to neurodevelopmental *** insight into the mechanism of BAF complex regulation in NSPCs during neural cell fate decisions and neurodevelopment may help in exploiting new methods for clinical applications.

In as-welded state,each region of 2219 aluminum alloy TIG-welded joint shows diff erent microstructure and microhardness due to the diff erent welding heat cycles and the resulting evolution of second *** the post-weld heat treatment,both the amount and the size of the eutectic structure orθphases ***,both the Cu content inα-Al matrix and the microhardness increased to a similar level in each region of the joint,and the tensile strength of the entire joint was greatly ***-weld heat treatment played the role of solid solution strengthening and aging *** the post-weld heat treatment,the weld performance became similar to other regions,but weld reinforcements lost their reinforcing eff ect on the weld and their existence was more of an adverse eff *** joint without weld reinforcements after the post-weld heat treatment had the optimal tensile properties,and the specimens randomly crack in the weld zone.

β-ray-induced X-ray spectroscopy(BIXS)is a promising method for tritium detection in solid materials because of its unique advantages,such as large detection depth,nondestructive testing capabilities,and low requirements for sample ***,high-accuracy reconstruction of the tritium depth profile remains a significant challenge for this *** this study,a novel reconstruction method based on a backpropagation(BP)neural network algorithm that demonstrates high accuracy,broad applicability,and robust noise resistance is *** average reconstruction error calculated using the BP network(8.0%)was much lower than that obtained using traditional numerical methods(26.5%).In addition,the BP method can accurately reconstruct BIX spectra of samples with an unknown range of tritium and exhibits wide applicability to spectra with various tritium ***,the BP network demonstrates superior accuracy and stability compared to numerical methods when reconstructing the spectra,with a relative uncertainty ranging from 0 to 10%.This study highlights the advantages of BP networks in accurately reconstructing the tritium depth profile from BIXS and promotes their further application in tritium detection.

The focusing modified Korteweg-de Vries(mKdV)equation with multiple high-order poles under the nonzero boundary conditions is first investigated via developing a Riemann-Hilbert(RH)*** begin with the asymptotic property,symmetry and analyticity of the Jost solutions,and successfully construct the RH problem of the focusing mKdV *** solve the RH problem when 1/S_(11)(k)has a single highorder pole and multiple high-order ***,we derive the soliton solutions of the focusing mKdV equation which corresponding with a single high-order pole and multiple high-order poles,***,the dynamics of one-and two-soliton solutions are graphically discussed.

Membrane distillation(MD)has gained extensive attention for treating highly saline ***,membrane scaling during the MD process has hindered the rapid development of this *** approaches to mitigate scaling in membrane distillation focus primarily on achieving enhanced hydrophobicity and even superhydrophobicity via utilizing fluorinated fibrous membrane or introducing perfluorosilane *** the environmental hazards posed by fluorinated compounds,it is highly desirable to develop non-fluorinated membranes with enhanced anti-scaling properties for effective membrane *** this study,we present a non-fluorinated liquid-like MD membrane with exceptional anti-scaling *** membrane was facilely fabricated by grafting linear polydimethylsiloxane(LPDMS)onto a hydrophilic polyether sulfone(PES)membrane pre-coated with the intermediate layers of polydopamine and silica(denoted as LPDMS-PES).Remarkably,LPDMS-PES manifested a drastically improved scaling resistance in continuous MD tests than its perfluorinated counterpart,i.e.,1H,1H,2H,2H-perfluorooctyltrichlorosilane-modified PES membrane(PFOS-PES),in both heterogeneous nucleation-dominated and crystal deposition-dominated scaling processes,despite the latter having a smaller surface ***-PES demonstrated a reduction of crystal accumulation of approximately 85%for Na Cl and 73%for Ca SO_(4) in the heterogeneous nucleation-dominated scaling process compared to ***,in the crystal deposition-dominated scaling process LPDMS-PES exhibited a reduction of about 70%in scale *** results explicitly evidenced the great potential of the liquid-like membrane to minimize scaling in membrane distillation by inhibiting both scale nucleation and adhesion onto the *** believe the findings of this study have important implications for the design of high-performance MD membranes,particularly in the quest for environmentally susta

Background:Hyperuricemia and gout have become public health concerns;many important guidelines have recommended xanthine oxidase inhibitors(XOIs)as the first-line urate-lowering therapies(ULTs)to treat chronic gout with ***,whether treating hyperuricemia and gout with ULTs modifies cardiovascular risks remains *** aim of this study was to assess the incident risk of cardiovascular(CV)events(CVE)in hyperuricemia population,assess the cardiovascular benefit-risk of ULTs in hyperuricemia patients with or without gout in diverse cardiovascular risk sub-groups,and specify the safety of different ***:We searched PubMed,Embase,the Cochrane Library,Wanfang,Chongqing VIP(CQVIP,***),and China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database for prospective cohort studies and randomized controlled trials(RCTs)in English and *** medications included XOIs,and *** were divided into sub-groups analysis based on blinding status and patients’history of CV *** ratios(RRs)were calculated and were reported with corresponding 95%confidence intervals(CIs)by fixed-effects or random-effects ***:Seven prospective cohort studies and 17 RCT studies were *** risks of both major adverse cardiovascular events(MACE)(RR=1.72,95%CI 1.28-2.33)and CVE(RR=1.35,95%CI 1.12-1.62)were higher in the hyperuricemia population than non-hyperuricemia *** seven RCT studies where XOIs were compared with no-treatment or placebo,the results of five low CV risk studies showed that XOIs lowered the risks of both MACE(RR=0.35,95%CI 0.20-0.62)and CVE(RR=0.61,95%CI 0.44-0.85);whereas two high CV risk studies showed that XOIs lowered the risk of CVE(RR=0.69,95%CI 0.54-0.88)rather than MACE(RR=0.62,95%CI 0.29-1.35).In nine RCT studies where the cardiovascular safety between febuxostat and allopurinol were compared,no statistical difference was found in the risk of MACE or ***:The hyperuricemia population doe

Background:Traumatic brain injury(TBI)is a leading cause of death and disability worldwide,and consciousness disorder is a common problem in TBI *** has been used to improve neurological deficits in patients with *** meta-analysis aims to evaluate the effects and safety of acupuncture in improving consciousness in patients with TBI when compared with other ***:A systematic search was conducted in electronic databases PubMed,EMBASE,Web of Science,the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials,Allied and Complementary Medicine Database,WHO International Clinical Trials Registry Platform,***,and Google Scholar for randomized controlled trials that investigated the effect of acupuncture on patients with *** the inception of databases to March ***:A total of 653 participants were included in nine *** found that acupuncture adjunct to routine treatment significantly improved the wakeup rate of patients in TBI when compared with routine treatment alone(relative risk=1.36,95%confidence interval:1.16 to 1.59,I2=4.78%,P=0).Additionally,we found that acupuncture is significantly associated with reduced impaired consciousness after TBI when adjunct to medicine *** a safe intervention,acupuncture can also improve the activities of daily living for people with TBI(mean difference=15.71,95%confidence interval:9.19 to 22.22,I2=0%,P=0).Conclusion:Acupuncture can improve consciousness and braise wakeup of patients with TBI when adjunct to conventional treatment compared with routine treatment *** high-quality studies are needed to confirm these findings and to determine the optimal acupuncture treatment parameter for TBI.
