NiFe layered double hydroxides(NiFe LDHs)have been intensively developed for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)in alkaline media;however,their unsatisfactory hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)performance limits their practical application in overall water ***,a simple and efficient one-step electrodeposition method is used to accomplish in situ growth of NiFe LDHsNiFe alloy gradient hybrid coatings on a carbon cloth(CC).Within the binder-free electrode,NiFe LDHs nanosheets with a low-crystalline nature exhibit highly active bifunctional OER/HER activities,and the NiFe alloy acts as a stable electron highway and strong skeleton bridge between NiFe LDHs and the *** the electrodes are simultaneously employed as the cathode and anode for overall water splitting,they require low cell potentials of 1.441 V at10 mA·cm^(-2)and 1.703 V at 100 mA·cm^(-2),respectively,and they demonstrate outstanding stability at a current density greater than 100 mA·cm^(-2)for more than 100 *** is one of the best bifunctional OER and HER catalysts for overall water *** lattice defects and surface reconstructions crucially contribute to the bifunctional OER/HER activities of NiFe *** simple and scalable synthesis approach presents an intriguing paradigm for industrial production,and the fabricated electrode has potential application in high-current-density water splitting.

The harvested loquat fruits are prone to browning,leading to a decline in fruit *** activity of polyphenol oxidase(PPO)is an important way to prevent *** this study,we evaluated the inhibitory impact of oligomeric procyanidins(OPC)on hydroxylation of monophenol and oxidation of o-diphenol catalyzed by PPO and effect of OPC on loquat fruits *** obtained results revealed that OPC could attenuate the activity of monophenolase and *** monophenolase activity,the inhibition rate was observed to be dose-dependent with an IC50 of 11.6±3.4μg/mL for the steady-state *** diphenolase activity,OPC inhibited PPO activity(IC50=15.75±2.1μg/mL)with a reversible and competitive mechanism and quenched fluorescence of PPO by forming OPC-PPO complex with one binding site in a static *** addition,the data obtained from storage assays revealed that OPC could enhance the quality of harvested loquat fruits by attenuating the PPO activity,augmenting the content of total phenolics and flavonoids,and simultaneously delaying the browning of *** this research,we identified a potent PPO inhibitor and expanded its potential as a food preservative.

The Fe3＋/Fe2＋ redox electrolyte for use in polyaniline/tin oxide （PANI/SnO2）supercapacitors was reported. The influences of redox electrolyte based on different Fe3＋/Fe2＋ ion pair concentrations in 1 mol/LH2SO4 solution on the pseudocapacitive behaviors of PANI/SnO2 supercapacitor were investigated. The electrochemical properties of the supercapacitor were studied by cyclic voltammetry （CV）, galvanostatic charge discharge （GCD）, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy （EIS） techniques. It is found that the performance of the supercapacitor is the best when the Fe3＋/Fe2＋ concentrationis 0.4 mol/L and its initial specific capacitance is 1172 F/g at an applied current density of 1 A/g. The long-term cycling experiment shows good stability with the retention of initial capacitance values of 88% after 2000 galvanostatic cycles. The experimental results testify that using Fe3＋/Fe2＋ redox electrolyte has a good prospect for improving the performances of energy-storage devices.

Carbonyl iron absorbers(CI)face significant challenges in practical applications,such as corrosion,interface bonding failure,detachment,and high maintenance ***,we have developed intelligent self-healing technology based on proactive/passive mechanisms via in situ synthesis of self-healing factors(polydopamine/benzotriazole(PDA/BTA))and physical barrier layers(SiO_(2)/1,1,1,3,3,3-hexamethyl disilazane,SiO_(2)/HMDS)to enhance corrosion resistance,while also being compatible with efficient microwave absorption *** unique multiscale structure gives full play to the utilization of the roles of each functional layer,including the intelligent self-healing features of PDA/BTA,physical shielding and spatial confinement characteristics of SiO_(2)/HMDS,and magnetic-dielectric synergistic mechanism resulted from the good impedance matching characteristics,the conduction loss,the interfacial polarization loss and natural *** asfabricated composites achieved an exceptional minimum reflection loss value of-55.4 dB at 10.7 GHz and the effective absorption band of 7.6 ***,it still exhibits obvious self-healing and corrosion resistance characteristics after 360 h corrosion treatment,ascribed to the self-healing mechanism of PDA/BTA and the blocking intervention effect of SiO_(2)/*** work is considered to pave the way for the synthesis of high-performance magnetic absorbers,especially in enhancing their intelligent self-healing ability in corrosive environments.

Nanocarrier-mediated siRNA delivery:a new approach for the treatment of traumatic brain injury-related Alzheimer's disease

In the surrounding of water, the harmonic response of Cymbal transducer based on 1-3 piezocomposite was analyzed with finite element analysis method in this paper. 1-3 piezocomposite was used as piezoelectric phase instead of piezoelectric ceramic and the brass foil was used as end cap electrode of the Cymbal transducer. The mathematic model of this new type of piezocomposite transducer was established. Three-dimensional models of Cymbal transducer based on 1-3 piezocomposite were developed in the modeling. With ANSYS software and boundary elements, the admittance、transmit voltage response and free-field voltage receiving sensitivity of this new piezocomposite structure were taken into account, and the curves between admittance、transmit voltage response and free-field voltage receiving sensitivity and frequency were investigated. Fabricate the samples of Cymbal transducers of this new type structure. Tested the admittance、transmit voltage response and free-field voltage receiving sensitivity of the transducers in the partially anechoic pool of factory 6971. The results show that the resonance frequency of the transducer is about 20kHz, and its work band as a receiving transducer is below 10kHz. There are good agreement between modeling calculation results and measurement for the Cymbal transducers. So the Cymbal transducer is practical and feasible.
