Mechanical characteristics and reservoir stimulation mechanisms of the Gulong shale oil reservoirs, the northern Songliao Basin

Shale oil of the Qingshankou Formation of the Gulong Sag,the northern Songliao Basin,represents the first attempt at large-scale development of pure-shale-type shale oil in *** integrating the multiscale refined reservoir characterization with macro-micro-scale mechanical testing,it is clarified that the Gulong shale is characterized by high clay mineral content,high rock plasticity,highly-developed bedding,and prominent mechanical anisotropy.A three-dimensional(3D)fracture propagation model of hydraulic fracturing was built for the Gulong shale,which fully captures the hydraulic fracture distribution pattern affected by the high bedding density,in-situ stress,and fracturing treatment *** research showed that due to influences of bedding,hydraulic fracturing in the Gulong shale forms a complex fracture morphology featuring the main fracture with multiple perpendicular branches that have different lengths(like the outdoor directional TV antenna);however,the vertical propagation of fractures is inhibited,and the fracture height is commonly less than 10 *** limited stimulated reservoir volume(SRV)is the main problem facing the fracturing stimulation of the Gulong shale *** density has vital effects on fracture morphology,so case-specific fracturing designs shall be developed for shale intervals with different bedding development *** reservoirs with welldeveloped bedding,it is suggested to properly increase the perforation cluster spacing and raise the volume and proportions of viscous fluids of the pad,so as to effectively promote vertical fracture propagation and improve reservoir stimulation *** study integrates multi-scale fine reservoir characterization and macro-micro-scale mechanical testing,as well as the construction and numerical simulation of hydraulic fracturing models for high-density layered shale reservoirs,providing a new approach and methodological framework for the fracturing research of high-density layer

Three Types of Isocoumarins with Unusual Carbon Skeletons from Artemisia dubia var. subdigitata and Their Antihepatoma Activity

Ten novel isocoumarins,including four pairs of enantiomers,were isolated from Artemisia dubia ***(Asteraceae).Compounds 1,2 and 3a/3b possessed a unique 6/6/6-tricyclic system comprising an unusual 1-(2-methylcyclohexyl)propan-1-one moiety fused with isocoumarin core *** 4a/4b were characterized as an unexpected 2,5-dimethylcyclohexan-1-one scaffold,and compounds 5a/5b and 6a/6b were rare 1,*** structures and absolute configurations were elucidated through spectroscopic data,X-ray crystallography,ECD and NMR calculations with DP4+*** biosynthetic pathways were proposed from the naturally occurring *** pharmacological analysis suggested that the targets of compound 1 were significantly enriched in the cell cycle and Pl3K-Akt signaling *** molecular docking revealed that compound 1 had high binding affinity with CDK2(total score:6.8717).Furthermore,compounds 1 and 2 exhibited inhibitory activity on three human hepatoma cell lines,with inhibitory ratios of 85.1% and 84.5%(HepG2),88.2% and 87.3%(Huh7),and 69.2% and 69.1%(SK-Hep-1)at 200μmol·L^(-1),respectively.

This study was aimed to analyze the effect of procyanidin B2(PC)and tannin acid(TA)on the activities of cholesterol esterase(CEase)and the inhibitory mechanisms of enzymatic *** interaction mechanisms were investigated by enzymatic kinetics,multi-spectroscopy methods,thermodynamics analysis,molecular docking,and dynamic *** and TA could bind with CEase and inhibit the activity of enzyme in a mixed-competitive manner and non-competitive manner,which was verified by molecular docking simulations and dynamics ***,PC and TA showed the synergistic inhibition with ***,UVvis and the thermodynamic analysis revealed that the complexes were formed from CEase and inhibitors by noncovalent *** revealed by the circular dichroism results,both PC and TA decreased enzymatic activities by altering the conformations of *** inhibition of PC and TA on CEase might be one mechanism for its cholesterol-lowering effect.

BACKGROUND Systemic inflammation and nutrition status play an important role in cancer *** combined index of hemoglobin,albumin,lymphocyte,and platelet(HALP),consisting of haemoglobin,albumin,lymphocytes,and platelets,is considered as a novel marker to reflect both systemic inflammation and nutrition ***,no studies have investigated the relationship between HALP and survival of patients with pancreatic cancer following radical *** To evaluate the prognostic value of preoperative HALP in pancreatic cancer *** The preoperative serum levels of hemoglobin,albumin,lymphocyte counts,and platelet counts were routinely detected in 582 pancreatic adenocarcinoma patients who underwent radical *** relationship between postoperative survival and the preoperative level of HALP was *** Low levels of HALP were significantly associated with lymph node metastasis(P=0.002),poor tumor differentiation(P=0.032),high TNM stage(P=0.008),female patients(P=0.005)and tumor location in the head of the pancreas(P<0.001).Low levels of HALP were associated with early recurrence[7.3 mo vs 16.3 mo,P<0.001 for recurrence-free survival(RFS)]and short survival[11.5 mo vs 23.6 mo,P<0.001 for overall survival(OS)]in patients with resected pancreatic adenocarcinoma.A low level of HALP was an independent risk factor for early recurrence and short survival irrespective of sex and tumor *** Low levels of HALP may be a significant risk factor for RFS and OS in patients with resected pancreatic cancer.
