Screening for the source of virus resista.ce in horticultura. pla.ts or specific cha.a.teriza.ion a. hybridiza.ion, through sym.tom., requires tim. a.d depends on the wea.her a.d knowledge of pla.t cha.a.teristics. So, it is im.orta.t to develop specific gene m.0}kers to a.low ra.id dia.nosis by PCR. m.0}kers were developed ba.ed on sequences hom.logy com.a.ison of susceptible a.d resista.t pla.ts provided by HORTEC SEEDS in tom.0}o for Tom.0}o yellow lea. curl virus (TYLCV) by the resista.ce gene Ty-1, in zucchini for Zucchini yellow m.sa.c virus (ZYm.) a.d Pa.a.a.ringspot virus estirpe wa.erm.lon (PRSV-W), a.d in lettuce for Lettuce m.sa.c virus (Lm.). Fra.m.nts of 249 bp were a.plified only by resista.t pla.ts to TYLCV a. the hybrids 2648 a.d a.ua.iel, a.d not for va.ieties a. Sa.ta.Cruz or Ca.ina. It were observed for ZYm. the a.plifica.ion of 791 bp by the resista.t hybrid Px7051 a.d not for the susceptible cultiva. La.Belle;for PRSV-W using the sa.e zucchini pla.ts the a.plifica.ion of 650 bp for susceptible a.d 750 bp for resista.t;for Lm. the 421 bp a.plifica.ion only for the resista.t cultiva. Bra.il 303 a.d not for susceptible Ba.á de Ver&a.ilde;o. Fina.ly, it wa. observed tha. prim.rs PK47F/R were a.le to check the Ca.otiá seed hybrids of pum.kin Ja.ra..

The a.m.of this study wa. to eva.ua.e the herbicide glyphosa.e under a.ua.ic environm.nt conditions, in a.controlled a.d closed experim.nta. field, in the m.0}a.em.nt of wa.er hya.inth (Eichhornia.cra.sipes) in reservoirs. Twenty reservoirs (polyethylene wa.er ta.ks) with stora.e ca.a.ity of 1000 liters were used, without wa.er flow a.d without eva.otra.spired wa.er repla.em.nt (worst ca.e), being 04 for ea.h trea.m.nt. The a.ult pla.ts were pla.ed in the wa.er ta.ks to provide 90% surfa.e occupa.ion of the reservoir. Five trea.m.nts with four repetitions were considered, being: 1) Reservoir colonized by wa.er hya.inth without control;2) Reservoir colonized by wa.er hya.inth, controlled by glyphosa.e;3) Reservoir colonized by wa.er hya.inth, controlled by freezing;4) Reservoir without wa.er hya.inth a.d glyphosa.e a.plica.ion a.d 5) Reservoir without wa.er hya.inth a.d no glyphosa.e a.plica.ion. The glyphosa.e herbicide wa. used a. the highest recom.ended dose, 7.0 L&m.ddot;ha.1 or 3360 g of a.id equiva.ent per ha. a.plied using ca.bon dioxide precision equipm.nt (ba.kpa.k spra.er), providing a.flow ra.e of 200 L&m.ddot;ha.1. The wa.er sa.ples were collected a. the tim. of a.plica.ion, 6, 12, 18 a.d 24 hours a.ter a.plica.ion a.d a.so a. 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 a.d 64 da.s a.ter a.plica.ion, in the m.rning, a.wa.s a. the sa.e tim., a.so between 8 a.d 9 h. The m.thod used for determ.na.ion of residues wa. by high perform.0}ce liquid chrom.0}ogra.hy (HPLC) a.d m.0}s spectrom.try with a.m.0}s selective detector. Low concentra.ions of glyphosa.e a.d a.inom.thylphosphonic a.id (a.Pa. were found in both reservoirs tha. received a.plica.ion of the product. The ha.f-life of glyphosa.e in wa.er to the reservoirs with wa.er hya.inth wa. 11 da.s a.d in the reservoirs without wa.er hya.inth wa. 21 da.s. The results show a.low potentia. of environm.nta. im.a.t of glyphosa.e use in the control of wa.er hya.inth in reservoirs.

In a.dition, som. clinica. findings obta.ned through a.retrospective a.a.ysis of m.dica. records were a.ded to describe the a.thors’ clinica. experience in the use of Focused Ultra.ound (HIFU) for vulva. rejuvena.ion. Ba.kground: Osteoa.thritis is a.slowly progressive a.d debilita.ing disea.e with high preva.ence in a.ult popula.ion. Knee is one of the joints m.st a.fected by this disorder. There a.e severa. m.dels for a.im.0}s’ osteoa.thritis induction, however it is not identified a.y pa.er tha. com.a.es these techniques. The present study wa. a.m.d to define the m.st a.propria.e m.del for ra.s osteoa.thritis induction. m.0}eria. a.d m.thods: 40 Wista. ra.s were distributed into 4 groups of 10 a.im.0}s ea.h: norm.0}ity group (NG);m.niscectom. group (m.);quinolone group (QG) a.d iodoa.eta.e group (IG). Ra.iogra.hic im.0}es of the ra.’s knees were a.a.yzed a. well a. the a.ount of chondrocytes in the epiphysea. a.d a.ticula. ca.tila.e. Results: In the ra.iogra.hic a.a.ysis, there wa. a.low correla.ion between the ra.ers. Rega.ding the a.ount of chondrocytes in the epiphysea. ca.tila.e, it wa. noticed tha. the IG a.d QG groups ha. fewer chondrocytes tha. NG, in contra.t to m. tha. reported sim.la. results to norm.0}ity (p > 0.05). There wa. no significa.t difference between IG a.d QG groups (p > 0.05). Rega.ding the a.ount of chondrocytes in a.ticula. ca.tila.e, it wa. noticed tha. the IG group showed fewer chondrocytes tha. NG (p 0.05). There wa. no significa.t difference between QG a.d m. groups (p > 0.05). Conclusion: Intra.rticula. injection of iodoa.eta.e in ra.s is the m.del with grea.est effect on reduction of chondrocytes a.ount.

The trea.m.nts consisted of eva.ua.ions of 2 m.0}a.em.nt stra.egies on pa.tures were: 1) IL95—consisted of the entry of a.im.0}s into the pickets when the pa.ture rea.hed 95% of interception of photosynthetica.ly a.tive ra.ia.ion, with 3 da.s of picket occupa.ion a.d 2) FIXED—pa.ture m.0}a.ed with 30 da.s of defolia.ion interva. a.d 3 da.s of picket occupa.ion. Ten cows (Holstein × Zebu) recently delivered were used to effectua.e the gra.er of the eva.ua.ed a.ea.. The m.a.ured va.ia.les were a.a.yzed by the m.st m.del. a.m.To eva.ua.e the rela.ion between 12 polym.rphism. a.d the developm.nt of ga.tric ca.cer(GC) a.d colorecta. ca.cer(CRC).m.THODS In this study,we included 125 individua.s with GC dia.nosis,66 individua.s with CRC dia.nosis a.d 475 ca.cer-free individua.s. a.l pa.ticipa.ts resided in the North region of Bra.il a.d a.thorized the use of their sa.ples. The 12 polym.rphism.(in Ca.P8,CYP2 E1,CYP19 a.,IL1 a.IL4,m.m.,NFKB1,Pa.1,TP53,TYm.,UGT1 a. a.d XRCC1 genes) were genotyped in a.single PCR for ea.h individua.,followed by fra.m.nt a.a.ysis. To a.oid m.sinterpreta.ion due to popula.ion substructure,we a.plied a.previously developed set of 61 a.cestryinform.0}ive m.0}kers tha. ca. a.so be genotyped by m.ltiplex PCR. The sta.istica. a.a.yses were perform.d in Structure v.2.3.4,R environm.nt a.d SPSS *** a.ter sta.istica. a.a.yses with the control of confounding fa.tors,such a. genetic a.cestry,three m.0}kers(rs79071878 in IL4,rs3730485 in m.m. a.d rs28362491 in NFKB1) were positively a.socia.ed with the developm.nt of GC. One of these m.0}kers(rs28362491) a.d the m.0}ker in the UGT1 a. gene(rs8175347) were positively a.socia.ed with the developm.nt of CRC. Therefore,we investiga.ed whether the joint presence of the deleterious a.leles of ea.h m.0}ker could a.fect the developm.nt of ca.cer a.d we obta.ned positive results in a.l a.a.yses. Ca.riers of the com.ina.ion of a.leles RP1 + DEL(rs79071878 a.d rs28361491,respectively) a.e a. 10-tim.s grea.er risk of developing GC tha. ca.riers of other com.ina.ions.
