ni Single Atoms and ni Phosphate Clusters Synergistically Triggered Surface-Functionalized MoS_(2)nanosheets for High-performance Freshwater and Seawater Electrolysis

Two-dimensional metal dichalcogenides have been evidenced as potential electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER);however,their application is limited by a poor oxygen evolution reaction(OER)activity due to insufficient number/types of multi-integrated active *** this study,we report a novel bifunctional catalyst developed by simultaneous engineering of single nickel atoms(ni_(SA)) and nickel phosphate clusters(ni_(Pi)) to synergistically trigger surface-functionalized MoS_(2) nanosheets(nSs)resulting in high reactivities for both HER and *** ni_(SA)-ni_(Pi)/MoS_(2)nSs material exhibits a fairly Pt-like HER behavior with an overpotential of 94.0 mV and a small OER overpotential of 314.0 mV to reach 10 mA cm^(-2) in freshwater containing 1.0 M *** results of the catalyst are well supported by theoretical study,which reveals the significant modulation of electronic structure and enrichment of electroactive site number/types with their reasonably adjusted free adsorption *** evaluating practicability,the ni_(SA)-ni_(Pi)/MoS_(2)nSs-based electrolyzer delivers effective operation voltage of 1.62,1.52,and 1.66 V at 10 mA cm^(-2) and superior long-term stability as compared to Pt/C//RuO_(2) system in freshwater,mimic seawater,and natural seawater,*** present study indicates that the catalyst is a promising candidate for the practical production of green hydrogen via water electrolysis.

In international trade,exporters prefer to receive payments as quickly as possible,and importers want to make payments as late as *** this respect,the payment field,an essential condition for trade transactions,also represents the positions of exporters and importers *** addition,there are many cases in which various variables must be considered rather than only one specific variable representatively affecting payment,particularly in the case of import-export Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises(SMEs)from emerging countries.A selection of proper payment methods can be categorized as a Multi-Criteria Decision-Making(MCDM)***,this study aims to propose a novel and efficient Spherical Fuzzy Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment based Entropy Objective Weighting method(SF-EW and WASPAS-SF)to evaluate international payment methods with uncertain ***,SF-EW model is applied to determine the relative weights of critical ***,international payment method alternatives are prioritized by the WASPAS-SF *** essential factors for four international payment methods are proposed based on experts’opinions and the existing literature.A real-world case study from Vietnamese import-export SMEs is presented to validate the applicability of the proposed *** results indicated that“Characteristics of payment method(PA)”had the most significant impact on international payment method *** comparison,“Letters of Credit(L/C)”was the most reliable payment method with the highest ranking available to international ***,a sensitivity analysis was performed to examine the validity and robustness of the proposed decision support ***,this study could contribute to international payment services and in the context of globalization and international trade.

Ardisia gigantifolia ethanolic extract inhibits cell proliferation and targets cancer stem cells in gastric cancer

Objective:To evaluate the effects of ethanol extract from Ardisia gigantifolia leaves on cell proliferation and cancer stem cell(CSC)number in gastric ***:The inhibitory effect of Ardisia gigantifolia extract on the proliferation of MKn45 and MKn74 gastric cancer cells was assessed using 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazole-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide ***-adherent culture(3D)model was used to evaluate the effect of the extract on tumorsphere size and ***,the expression of CD44,ALDH,and p21 was determined by immunofluorescence *** cytometric analysis was performed to evaluate cell cycle arrest and the expression of gastric CSC markers CD44 and ***-time PCR analysis was also carried out to assess the effect of the extract on the expression of cell cycle-regulated ***:Ardisia gigantifolia extract effectively inhibited cell proliferation with an IC_(50)of 55.7μg/m L in MKn45 cells and 123.6μg/m L in MKn74 *** extract also arrested cell cycle in the G_(0)/G_(1)phase as well as significantly reduced the size and number of *** markedly increased expression of p21 was observed at both m RnA and protein levels in the extract-treated adherent cells and *** addition,Ardisia gigantifolia extract significantly reduced the number of CD44-and/or ALDH-expressing gastric ***:The development of gastric CSC can be inhibited by the ethanol extract of Ardisia gigantifolia.

We report on the synthesis of Sn-doped hematite nanoparticles(Sn-α-Fe_(2)O_(3) nPs)by the hydrothermal *** prepared Sn-α-Fe_(2)O_(3) nPs had a highly pure and well crystalline rhombohedral phase with an average particle size of 41.4 *** optical properties of as-synthesizedα-Fe_(2)O_(3) nPs show a higher bandgap energy(2.40-2.57 eV)than that of pure bulkα-Fe_(2)O_(3)(2.1 eV).By doping Sn intoα-Fe_(2)O_(3) nPs,the Sn-doped hematite was observed a redshift toward a long wavelength with in-creasing Sn concentration from 0%to 4.0%.The photocatalytic activity of Sn-dopedα-Fe_(2)O_(3) nPs was evaluated by Congo red(CR)dye *** degradation efficiency of CR dye using Sn-α-Fe_(2)O_(3) nPs catalyst is higher than that of pureα-Fe_(2)O_(3) *** highest degradation efficiency of CR dye was 97.8%using 2.5%Sn-dopedα-Fe_(2)O_(3) nPs catalyst under visible-light *** results suggest that the synthesized Sn-dopedα-Fe_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles might be a suitable approach to develop a photocatalytic degradation of toxic inorganic dye in wastewater.

Supplier selection is a vital part of the supply chain and is also a current issue that concerns businesses today as supplier quality directly affects the operations of the *** the right supplier can help businesses increase productivity,competitiveness in the market,and profits without having to lower the quality of the ***,choosing a supplier is not a simple matter,it requires businesses to consider many aspects about their ***,the goal of this study is to propose an integrated model consisting of two models:Fuzzy Analytics network Process(Fuzzy-AnP)model and Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment(WASPAS)to solve the problem *** Fuzzy-AnP model was developed to evaluate the weightings of the supplier selection criteria,and the WASPAS Model was used to rank the *** example of supplier selection in the coffee industry in Vietnam was studied to validate the model,namely 5 main criteria,with 16 sub-criteria,and 7 *** model test results show that the Fuzzy AnP and WASPAS integration model was *** future,these developing models can apply to other industries or integrate with other models.

The Roles of Female Involvement and Risk Aversion in Open Access Publishing Patterns in Vietnamese Social Sciences and Humanities

Purpose:The open-access(OA)publishing model can help improve researchers’outreach,thanks to its accessibility and visibility to the ***,the presentation of female researchers can benefit from the O A publishing *** that,little is known about how gender affects OA ***,the current study explores the effects of female involvement and risk aversion on OA publishing patterns among Vietname se social sciences and ***/methodology/approach:The study employed Bayesian Mindsponge Framework(BMF)on a dataset of 3,122 Vietnamese social sciences and humanities(SS&H)publications during *** Mindsponge mechanism was specifically used to construct theoretical models,while Bayesian inference was utilized for fitting ***:The result showed a positive association between female participation and OA publishing ***,the positive effect of female involvement on OA publishing probability was negated by the high ratio of female researchers in a *** status was negatively associated with the JIF of the journal in which the publication was published,but the relationship was moderated by the involvement of a female researcher(s).The findings suggested that Vietnamese female researchers might be more likely to publish under the OA model in journals with high JIF for avoiding the risk of public *** limitations:The study could only provide evidence on the association between female involvement and OA publishing ***,whether to publish under OA terms is often determined by the first or corresponding authors,but not necessarily *** implications:Systematically coordinated actions are suggested to better support women and promote the OA movement in ***/value:The findings show the OA publishing patterns of female researchers in Vietnamese SS&H.

An Ontology-Based Question Answering System for University Admissions Advising

Question-Answer systems are now very popular and crucial to support human in automatically responding frequent questions in manyﬁ***,these systems depend on learning methods and training ***,it is necessary to prepare such a good dataset,but it is not an easy *** ontol-ogy-based domain knowledge base is able to help to reason semantic information and make effective answers given user *** study proposes a novel chatbot model involving ontology to generate efﬁcient responses automatically.A case study of admissions advising at the International University–VnU HCMC is taken into account in the proposed chatbot.A domain ontology is designed and built based on the domain knowledge of university admissions using Protégé.The Web user interface of the proposed chatbot system is developed as a prototype using *** includes a search engine reasoning the ontology and generat-ing answers to users’*** experiments are carried out to test how the system reacts to different ***ﬁrst experiment examines questions made from some templates,and the second one examines normal questions taken from frequent *** results have shown that the ontology-based chatbot can release meaningful and long *** results are analysed to prove the proposed chatbot is usable and promising.
