Traditional Vietnamese Medicine has its own development based on the local endemic herbs,but it also inherits from Traditional Chinese Medicine using Chinese herbal *** the history of cultural exchange between two countries,the adoption of Chinese Danggui,Angelica sinensis(Oliv.)Diels.,has been made by Vietnamese traditional medicine practitioners for a long ***,the acclimatization has never been *** Danggui,or Angelica acutiloba Kitagawa,is recently being acclimatized and cultivated in several Vietnamese *** the huge climate change between the two countries,the herb adapted exquisitely well to the humid tropical ***,so far,there are no studies that have evaluated the effect of acclimatization on the overall quality of this medicinal *** aim of our study is screening secondary metabolites of this acclimatized herb for new natural compound(s),if *** analysis of flavonoid fraction from this herb led to the identification of two known compounds which previously have not been isolated from this species *** detection showed that the herb has reacted to the new environment.

The main purpose of this paper is to present numerical results of static bending and free vibration of functionally graded porous(FGP) variable-thickness plates by using an edge-based smoothed finite element method(ES-FEM) associate with the mixed interpolation of tensorial components technique for the three-node triangular element(MITC3), so-called ES-MITC3. This ES-MITC3 element is performed to eliminate the shear locking problem and to enhance the accuracy of the existing MITC3 element. In the ES-MITC3 element, the stiffness matrices are obtained by using the strain smoothing technique over the smoothing domains formed by two adjacent MITC3 triangular elements sharing an edge. Materials of the plate are FGP with a power-law index(k) and maximum porosity distributions(U) in the forms of cosine functions. The influences of some geometric parameters, material properties on static bending, and natural frequency of the FGP variable-thickness plates are examined in detail.

The superior ability of perovskite-type SrNbO_(2) N to absorb intensive visible light makes it a potential semiconductor to produce hydrogen and oxygen by photoelectrochemical(PEC)water splitting under *** surface morphologies,such as shape and structure,of the oxynitride strongly affect its photoactivity,although the mechanism has been hardly ***,we report a two-dimensional(2D)porous SrNbO_(2) N plate with Zr doping,nitrided from layered perovskite Sr_(5)Nb_(4)O_(15) and also its largely enhanced PEC water splitting ***^(4+)was doped in Sr_(5)Nb_(4)O_(15) during flux-assisted calcination using KCl,producing 2D-type truncated-octahedral Sr_(5)Nb_(4)O_(15):Zr plates approximately 50 nm in *** nitridation completely transformed Sr_(5)Nb_(4)O_(15):Zr to 2D single-crystalline SrNbO_(2) N:Zr with a large surface area,which was subsequently used to fabricate a thin and uniform photoanode by the spin coating *** a result,the Co(OH)_(x)/SrNbO_(2) N:Zr/FTO photoanode capable of absorbing visible light of up to 680 nm exhibited an activity of 2.0 mA cm^(-2) at 1.23 V vs the reversible hydrogen electrode for water splitting under AM 1.5G simulated *** improvement in photoactivity mainly originated from the 2D surface morphology of SrNbO_(2) N:Zr,which is clearly distinguishable from 3D-type *** to electrochemical analyses,the 2D structure of SrNbO_(2) N:Zr boosted the separation and accelerated the transfer of charges photogenerated during the water splitting,thus driving the reaction ***,the result empirically demonstrates that controlling the surface morphology of SrNbO_(2) N is an effective strategy to suppress the recombination of charges and minimize their diffusion pathway,eventually enhancing the PEC activity.

The moment method in statistical (SMM) dynamics is used to study the thermodynamic quantities of ZrO2 thin films taking into account the anharmonicity effects of the lattice vibrations. The average lattice constant, thermal expansion coefficient and specific heats at the constant volume of ZrO2 thin films are calculated as a function of temperature, pressure and thickness of thin film. SMM calculations are performed using the Buckingham potential for the ZrO2 thin films. In the present study, the influence of temperature, pressure and the size on the thermodynamic quantities of ZrO2 thin film have been studied using three different interatomic potentials. We discuss temperature and thickness dependences of some thermodynamic quantities of ZrO2 thin films and we compare our calculated results with those of the experimental results.

Evaluation of Landslide Susceptibility in Cau River Basin Using a Physical-Based Model under Impact of Climate Change

This paper evaluated the probability of landslide susceptibilities through the applica-tion of the Transient Rainfall Infiltration and Grid-Based Region Slope-Stability model in Cau river basin (Vietnam) using the scenarios-based approach under the influence of the warming climate. The tested cases were developed based on various options including rainfall amount and distribution, soil depth determination, and land-cover conditions. Input data for extreme rain events included historical rainstorm in 2013, the Probable Maximum Precipitation (PMP) with the durations of 24 hours and 48 hours. The results illustrated the reduction of slope stability when the land cover changed from land-use data in 2007 (Ha12) to land-use data in 2015 (Ha22). When the whole region was assumed to be replaced by soil (Ha02), the factor of safety (Fs) decreased to lower magnitude when compared to Fs value regarding to changes in land cover condition (Ha12 & Ha22) and changes in soil-depth (Ha33). The model simulations demonstrated the agreement with the slope-failure hazard association with the destabilizing factor such as slope-cutting activities at historical landslide events. Under the same land-cover and soil depth condition, the average value of factor of safety regarding to the historical rainstorm in 2013 (Ha32) declined by 0.069 and 0.189 when compared to Fs of the 24-hour PMP with the storm distribution type 3 (1332) and Fs of the 48-hour PMP with the storm distribution type 3 (2332), respectively. The results reveal that in a warming climate, changes in extreme precipitation in terms of rain-total, rain-duration, and rain-distribution would result in the expansion of slope instability in the hilly region. This application is considered as a prevailing method for landslide susceptibility analysis and would provide important information for authorities in developing adequate land-management in the river basin.

Thermodynamic properties of diamond cubic and zinc-blende semiconductors with point defects are considered by the statistical moment method (SMM). The thermal expansion coefficient, the specific heats at constant volume and those at constant pressure, CV and CP, and the isothermal compressibility are derived analytically for semiconductors with defects. The SMM calculated thermodynamic quantities of the Si, and GaAs semiconductors with defects are in good agreement with the experimental results.

In this study, a novel layer-by-layer polyaniline/graphene （PANi/Gr） structure for electrochemical detec- tion of atrazine was developed. Gr film was synthesized by thermal chemical vapor deposition （CVD） method and transferred onto the PANi-predeposited microelectrode. The properties of PANi/Gr film were thoroughly investigated by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy and Raman techniques. The most attractive feature of this system is a suitable microenvironment, which could provide an amplifi- cation of the conductive signal, thus may contribute to enhancing electron transfer and subsequently improve the sensitivity in electrochemical measurements. With low detection limit （- 43 × 10 -12 g/L）, ac-ceptable stability and good reproducibility, the proposed electrochemical immunosensor could be advantageously extended for multiplexed detection of other agents of environmental pollution.

This paper aims to evaluate the probability of landslide hazards using a physical model(TRIGRS:Transient Rainfall Infiltration and Grid-Based Region Slope-Stability)for a regional scale considering the variations of a triggering rainfall condition and land-cover under the climate *** are certain uncertainties raising from the soil properties and soil depth determination,assumption of groundwater,as well as the same root cohesion for all tree cover in the forest-related ***,the application of TRIGRS model in a regional scale would provide important references for the distribution of landslide prone area regarding scenarios about changes of weather condition and land cover *** thus would support local authorities in obtaining more adequate land planning strategies in a river basin to mitigate potential hazard from the slope failure issue.

In this article,vibration characteristics of sandwich plates with an auxetic honeycomb core and laminated three-phase skin layers subjected to blast load are ***-order ES-MITC3 element based on higher-order shear deformation theory(HSDT)to achieve the governing *** sandwich plates with the ultra-light feature of the auxetic honeycomb core layer(negative Poisson’s ratio)and reinforced by two laminated three-phase skin *** obtained results in our work are compared with other previously published to confirm accuracy and *** addition,the effects of parameters such as geometrical and material parameters on the vibration characteristics of sandwich plates with an auxetic honeycomb core and laminated three-phase skin layers are fully investigated.
