Container Based Nomadic Vehicular Cloud Using Cell Transmission Model

Nomadic Vehicular Cloud(NVC)is envisaged in this *** predo-minant aspects of NVC is,it moves along with the vehicle that initiates it and functions only with the resources of moving vehicles on the heavy traffic road without relying on any of the static infrastructure and NVC decides the initiation time of container migration using cell transmission model(CTM).Containers are used in the place of Virtual Machines(VM),as containers’features are very apt to NVC’s dynamic *** specifications of 5G NR V2X PC5 interface are applied to NVC,for the feature of not relying on the network ***-days,the peak traffic on the road and the bottlenecks due to it are inevitable,which are seen here as the benefits for VC in terms of resource availability and residual in-network *** speed range of high-end vehicles poses the issue of dis-connectivity among VC participants,that results the container migration *** the entire VC participants are on the move,to maintain proximity of the containers hosted by them,estimating their movements plays a vital *** infer the vehicle movements on the road stretch and initiate the container migration prior enough to avoid the migration failure due to vehicles dynamicity,this paper proposes to apply the CTM to the container based and 5G NR V2X enabled *** simulation results show that there is a significant increase in the success rate of vehicular cloud in terms of successful container migrations.

Coinoculation of bioinoculants improve Acacia auriculiformis seedling growth and quality in a tropical Alfisol soil

We conducted a study to find out if arbuscular mycorrhizal(AM) fungi(Acaulospora scrobiculata,Scutellospora calospora) and phosphate solubilizing bacteria(PSB, Paenibacillus polymyxa) inoculation either individually or in combinations can improve Acacia auriculiformis seedling growth, uptake of nutrients and quality in a phosphorus deficient tropical Alfisol. The seedlings were assessed for various growth and nutrient uptake parameters after 60 days of treatment. Inoculation with *** stimulated mycorrhizal formation. Seedling height, stem girth, taproot length, number of leaves and leaf area, plant dry matter production, nodulation, and nodular dry weight were significantly higher for seedlings that were either dual inoculated or triple inoculated compared to individual inoculation of AM fungi or PSB, and uninoculated seedlings. Dual and triple application of AM fungi and PSB also significantly improved the nutrient contents of shoots and roots and nutrient uptake efficiencies. The calculated seedling quality indexes of the AM fungi and PSB inoculated seedling were 25–208% higher than uninoculated seedlings. These findings show that *** seedlings when dual inoculated or triple inoculated performed better than seedlings inoculated with the microbes individually and compared with uninoculated control seedlings. We conclude that bioinoculation is important for the production of high-quality *** seedlings in tree nurseries for planting in nutrient deficient soils.

An Adaptive Power Allocation Scheme for Performance Improvement of Cooperative SWIPT NOMA Wireless Networks

Future wireless networks demand high spectral efficiency,energy efficiency and *** non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA)with simultaneous wireless information and power transfer(SWIPT)is considered as one of the novel techniques to meet this *** this work,an adaptive power allocation scheme called SWIPT based adaptive power allocation(SWIPT-APA-NOMA)is proposed for a power domain NOMA *** proposed scheme considers the receiver sensitivity of the end users while calculating the power allocation coefficients in order to prevent wastage of power allocated to user in outage and by offering priority to any one of the users to use maximum harvested power.A detailed analysis on the bit error rate(BER)performance of the proposed scheme is done and closed form expression is *** have been carried out with various parameters that influence the receiver sensitivity and the results show that the network achieves better outage and BER performance using the proposed *** is found that the proposed scheme leads to a ten-fold decrease in transmit power for the same error performance of a fixed power allocation ***,it offers 96.06%improvement in the capacity for a cumulative noise figure and fading margin of 10 dB.

Web-based remote sensing image retrieval using multiscale and multidirectional analysis based on Contourlet and Haralick texture features

Purpose-Extracting suitable features to represent an image based on its content is a very tedious *** in remote sensing we have high-resolution images with a variety of objects on the Earth’s *** distance metric is used to measure the similarity between query and database *** low distance obtained image is indexed at the top as high relevant information to the ***/methodology/approach-This paper aims to develop an automatic feature extraction system for remote sensing image *** texture features based on Contourlet transform are fused with statistical features extracted from the QuadTree(QT)decomposition are developed as feature set to represent the input *** extracted features will retrieve similar images from the large image datasets using an image-based query through the web-based user ***-The developed retrieval system performance has been analyzed using precision and recall and F1 *** proposed feature vector gives better performance with 0.69 precision for the top 50 relevant retrieved results over other existing multiscale-based feature extraction ***/value-The main contribution of this paper is developing a texture feature vector in a multiscale domain by combining the Haralick texture properties in the Contourlet domain and Statistical features using QT *** features required to represent the image is 207 which is very less dimension compare to other texture *** performance shows superior than the other state of art methods.

Experimental and CFD Heat Transfer Studies of Al2Oa-Water Nanofluid in a Coiled Agitated Vessel Equipped with Propeller

This paper presents the heat transfer characteristics of A1203-water nanofluid in a coiled agitated vessel with propeller agitator. The experimental study was conducted using 0.10%, 0.20% and 0.30% volume concentra tion of A1203-water nanofluids. The results showed considerable enhancement of convective heat transfer using the nanofluids. The empirical correlations developed for Nusselt number in terms of Reynolds number, Prandtl number, viscosity ratio and volume concentration fit with the experimental data within ±10%. The heat transfer characteris tics were also simulated using computational fluid dynamics using FLUENT software with the standard ke model and multiple reference frame were adopted. The computational fluid dynamics （CFD） predicted Nusselt number agrees well with the experimental value and the discrepancy is found to be less than ＋8%.

Evaluation of Medium Components by Plackett-Burman Statistical Design for Lipase Production by Candida rugosa and Kinetic Modeling

Lipase production by Candida rugosa was carried out in submerged ***-Burman statisticalexperimental design was applied to evaluate the fermentation medium *** effect of twelve medium components was studied in sixteen experimental ***,olive oil,peptone and FeCl3·6H2O were found to have more significance on lipase production by Candida *** lipase activity of 3.8 u mL-1 was obtained at 50h of fermentation *** fermentation was carried out at optimized temperature of 3℃,initial pH of 6.8 and shaking speed of 120 r/*** kinetic models were used to simulate the experimental *** model,Luedeking-Piret model and modified Luedeking-Piret model were found suitable to efficiently predict the cell mass,lipase production and glucose consumption respectively with high determination coefficient(R2).From the estimated values of the Luedeking-Piret kinetic model parameters,α and β,it was found that the lipase production by Candida rugosa is growth associated.
