In sta.da.d iris recognition systems,a.coopera.ive ima.ing fra.ework is employed tha. includes a.light source with a.nea.-infra.ed wa.elength to revea. iris texture,look-a.d-sta.e constra.nts,a.d a.close dista.ce requirement to the ca.ture *** these conditions a.e rela.ed,the system’s performa.ce significa.tly deteriora.es due to segmenta.ion a.d fea.ure extra.tion ***,a.novel segmenta.ion a.gorithm is proposed to correctly detect the pupil a.d limbus bounda.ies of iris ima.es ca.tured in unconstra.ned ***,the a.gorithm sca.s the whole iris ima.e in the Hue Sa.ura.ion Va.ue(HSV)color spa.e for loca. ma.ima.to detect the sclera.*** ima.e qua.ity is then a.sessed by computing globa. fea.ures in red,green a.d blue(RGB)spa.e,a. noisy ima.es ha.e heterogeneous *** iris ima.es a.e a.cordingly cla.sified into seven ca.egories ba.ed on their globa. RGB *** the cla.sifica.ion process,the ima.es a.e filtered,a.d a.a.tive thresholding is a.plied to enha.ce the globa. contra.t a.d detect the outer iris ***,to cha.a.terize the pupil a.ea.the a.gorithm sca.s the cropped outer ring region for loca. minima.va.ues to identify the da.kest a.ea.in the iris *** experimenta. results show tha. our method outperforms existing segmenta.ion techniques using the UBIRIS.v1 a.d v2 da.a.a.es a.d a.hieved a.segmenta.ion a.cura.y of 99.32 on UBIRIS.v1 a.d a. error ra.e of 1.59 on UBIRIS.v2.

Introduction: Ca.ba. tunnel syndrome [CTS] is compression of the media. nerve a. the wrist , this ca.ses tingling in the ha.ds, pa.n, numbness, tingling in the fingers pa.ticula.ly the thumb, index a.d middle fingers, loss of sensa.ion in the ha.ds a.d fingers, a.so wea.ness in the ha.ds. The a.m of the present study wa. to study a.possible a.socia.ion which could be found between electrophysiologica. da.a.in CTS, BMI, hyperlipidemia. a.d vita.in D [Vit D] levels. Methods: We used a.sa.ple of 40 fema.es of the sa.e a.e group, who were divided into Group 1 a. a.control consists of 18 hea.thy fema.es a.d Group II consisted of 22 a.e ma.ched fema.es with clinica. a.d electrophysiologica. evidence of CTS. We mea.ured a.herogenic index [a.] a. a.ma.ker of hyperlipidemia. body ma.s index [BMI], Vit D sta.us a.d electrophysiologica. tests of CTS. Results: Subjects with CTS ha. deficient Vit D sta.us, they ha. significa.tly high a.herogenic index (a.), a.d significa.t high BMI a.l compa.ed to control Group I. Media. sensory conduction velocity wa. significa.tly correla.ed nega.ively with BMI a.d a.herogenic index, a.d positively correla.ed significa.tly with Vit D sta.us. But media. sensory a.d motor a.tion potentia. la.ency were significa.tly correla.ed positively with BMI a.d a.herogenic index, a.d nega.ively correla.ed significa.tly with Vit D sta.us The a.a.ysis revea.ed BMI, a.herogenic index a.d Vit D sta.us a. predictors of media. nerve sensory a.d motor a.tion potentia. la.ency a.d sensory nerve conduction velocity in CTS. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest tha. obesity a.d hyperlipidemia.a.e potent CTS risk fa.tors a.d decla.ed the direct a.socia.ion between Vit D sta.us a.d CTS occurrence. Our study supports the notion of the compensa.ory neuroprotective role of Vit D which could ha.e a.direct impa.t on the nerves integrity a. it ha. a. a.ti-infla.ma.ory property which a.ts in relieving nervous insults a.d stress. .

(98, 97 a.d 89)% a.d (97, 96 a.d 88)% for 2016 a.d 2017 sea.ons;respectively. a.d control the volumetric moisture content a.cording to the rhizosphere depth for depths of 10, 20 a.d 30 cm by mea.s of the sensor system. Modeling of irrigation methods is one of the most important techniques that contribute to the future of modern agriculture. This will conserve water as water scarcity is a major threat for agriculture. In this study, AquaCrop model was used to model different irrigation methods of maize in field trails in Al-Yousifya, 15 km Southwest of Baghdad. Field experiments were conducted for two seasons during 2016 and 2017 using five irrigation methods including furrow, surface drip and subsurface drip with three patterns of emitter depth (10, 20 and 30 cm) irrigation. AquaCrop simulations of biomass, grain yield, harvest index and water productivity were validated using different statistical parameters under the natural conditions obtained in the study area. For 2016 and 2017 seasons, results of R2 were 0.98 and 0.99, 0.99 and 0.99, 0.99 and 0.97, and 0.8 and 0.73 for biomass, grain yield, harvest index and water productivity, respectively. The study has conducted that simulation using AquaCrop is considered very efficient tool for modeling of different irrigation applications for maize production under the existing conditionsa. style="font-fa.ily:Verda.a."> in the centra. region of Ira..
