The effect of extrusion temperature and ratio on the microstructure, hardness, compression, and corrosion behavior of Mg-5Zn-1.5Y alloy were analyzed in this study. The microstructural observations revealed that the cast alloy consists of α-Mg grains, and Mg3Zn6Y and Mg3Zn3Y2 intermetallic compounds, mostly located on the α-Mg grain boundaries. Extruded alloy at higher temperatures showed coarser grain microstructures, whereas those extruded at higher ratios contained finer ones, although more dynamic recrystalized grains with lower intermetallics were measured at both conditions. Combined conditions of the lower temperature (340°C) and higher ratio (1:11.5) provided higher compressive strengths. However, no significant hardness improvement was achieved. The extrusion process could decrease the corrosion rate of the cast alloy in simulated body fluid for over 80% due to primarily the refined microstructure. The extrusion temperature showed a more pronounced effect on corrosion resistance compared to the extrusion ratio, and the higher the extrusion temperature, the higher the corrosion resistance.

Cholangitis is a serious life-threatening situation affecting the hepatobiliary *** review provides an update regarding the clinical and pathological features of various forms of cholangitis.A comprehensive search was performed in the PubMed,Scopus,and Web of Knowledge *** was found that the etiology and pathogenesis of cholangitis are *** can be categorized as primary sclerosing(PSC),secondary(acute)cholangitis,and a recently characterized form,known as IgG4-associated cholangitis(IAC).Roles of genetic and acquired factors have been noted in development of various forms of *** commonly follows a chronic and progressive course that may terminate in hepatobiliary *** particular,PSC commonly has been associated with inflammatory bowel *** infections are known as the most common cause for *** the other hand,IAC has been commonly encountered along with *** evaluation of the hepatobiliary system has emerged as a crucial tool in the management of *** retrograde cholangiography,magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography and endoscopic ultrasonography comprise three of the modalities that are frequently exploited as both diagnostic and therapeutic *** drainage procedures using these methods is necessary for controlling the progression of *** results have been reported for the role of antibiotic treatment in management of AC and PSC;however,immunosuppressive drugs have also rendered clinical responses in *** respect to the high rate of complications,surgical interventions in patients with cholangitis are generally restricted to those patients in whom other therapeutic approaches have failed.

Magnetic force microscopy(MFM)is a powerful technique for studying magnetic microstructures and nanostructures that relies on force detection by a cantilever with a magnetic *** detected magnetic tip interactions are used to reconstruct the magnetic structure of the sample ***,we demonstrate a new method using MFM for probing the spatial profle of an operational nanoscale spintronic device,the spin Hall nano-osillator(SHNO),which generates high-intensity spin wave auto-osillations enabling novel microwave applications in magnonics and neuromorphic *** developed an MFM system by adding a microwave probe station to allow electrical and microwave characterization up to 40 GHz during the MFM ***-based on NiFe/Pt bilayers with a specific design compatible with the developed system-were fabricated and scanned using a Co magnetic force microscopy tip with 10 nm spatial MFM resolution,while a DC current sufficient to induce auto-oscillation *** results show that this developed method provides a promising path for the characterization and nanoscale magnetic field imaging of operational nano-osilators.

Classification models for multivariate time series have drawn the interest of many researchers to the field with the objective of developing accurate and efficient ***,limited research has been conducted on generating adversarial samples for multivariate time series classification *** samples could become a security concern in systems with complex sets of *** study proposes extending the existing gradient adversarial transformation network(GATN)in combination with adversarial autoencoders to attack multivariate time series classification *** proposed model attacks classification models by utilizing a distilled model to imitate the output of the multivariate time series classification *** addition,the adversarial generator function is replaced with a variational autoencoder to enhance the adversarial *** developed methodology is tested on two multivariate time series classification models:1-nearest neighbor dynamic time warping(1-NN DTW)and a fully convolutional network(FCN).This study utilizes 30 multivariate time series benchmarks provided by the University of East Anglia(UEA)and University of California Riverside(UCR).The use of adversarial autoencoders shows an increase in the fraction of successful adversaries generated on multivariate time *** the best of our knowledge,this is the first study to explore adversarial attacks on multivariate time ***,we recommend future research utilizing the generated latent space from the variational autoencoders.

This paper proposes a robust controller to improve power system stability and mitigate subsynchronous interaction(SSI)between doubly-fed induction generator(DFIG)-based wind farms and series compensated transmission lines.A robust stability analysis is first carried out to show the impact of uncertainties on the SSI *** uncertainties are mainly due to the changes in the power system impedance(e.g.,transmission line outages)and the variations of wind farm operating ***,using theμ-synthesis technique,a robust SSI damping controller is designed and augmented to the DFIG control system to effectively damp the SSI *** output signals of the supplementary controller are dynamically limited to avoid saturating the converters and to provide DFIG with the desired fault-ride-through(FRT)operation during power system *** proposed controller is designed for a realistic test system with multiple series capacitor compensated *** frequency of the unstable SSI mode varies over a wide range due to the changes in power system topologies and wind farm operating *** performance of the proposed controller is verified through electromagnetic transient(EMT)simulations using a detailed wind farm *** results also confirm the grid compliant operation of the DFIG.

BACKGROUND:The major issue with intraoperative cholangiography (IOC) is whether its diagnostic accuracy for common bile duct (CBD) stones matches that of other diagnostic procedures,and thus,whether it will become a routine diagnostic *** current study aimed to address the main determinants of CBD stone diagnosis in IOC among an Iranian ***:In a retrospective review database-based study conducted in Taleghani Hospital in Tehran between 2006 and 2008,baseline data and perioperative information of 2060 patients (male to female ratio 542:1518,mean age 53.7 years) who were candidates for cholecystectomy and underwent concomitant IOC for confirming CBD stones were *** predictive power of this procedure for diagnosis of abnormal biliary ducts with the focus on biliary stones was ***:Overall mortality and morbidity following cholecystectomy in the study population were 0.6% and 2.6%,*** early mortality and morbidity due to cholecystectomy were higher in male than *** prevalence of CBD stones in IOC was 3.4% (5.2% in male and 2.8% in female,P=0.008).Among those without gallstones,8.7% had CBD stones and only 3.1% had concomitant gallstones and CBD *** main predictors of stone appearance as an abnormal feature of IOC during cholecystectomy were:advanced age (OR=1.022,P=0.001),male gender (OR=1.498,P=0.050),history of abdominal surgery (OR=1.543,P=0.040) and preoperative endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (OR=5.400,P<0.001).CONCLUSIONS:IOC is a safe and accurate method for the assessment of bile duct anatomy and ***,the routine use of IOC within cholecystectomy seems reasonable and is recommended.

目的分析新辅助放化疗联合免疫治疗在可切除食管鳞癌患者中的应用效果。方法非随机选取阳江市人民医院于2022年8月—2023年12月期间收治的20例可手术的胸段食管鳞癌患者为研究对象,均采用新辅助放化疗联合免疫治疗,对患者治疗后的疗效及安全性进行分析。结果经过新辅助放化疗,术前疗效评价为完全缓解有2例(10.00%),部分缓解有17例(85.00%),疾病稳定有1例(5.00%),疾病进展为0,客观缓解率为95.00%;所有患者均成功行根治性手术。手术均达R0切除,术后R0切除率100.00%。肿瘤残留细胞0有9例(45.00%),0~<11%有7例(35.00%),11%~<51%有2例(10.00%),51%~90%有2例(10.00%),病理完全缓解率为45.00%;在治疗后,Ⅲ~Ⅳ粒细胞减少症患者2例(10.00%),严重消化道反应患者3例(15.00%),食管穿孔患者为0,皮炎患者4例(20.00%)。结论新辅助放化疗联合免疫治疗能够缩小患者肿瘤体积,具有较高的病理完全缓解率,能提高根治手术的成功率,且不良反应相对较轻,在可切除食管鳞癌患者中具有良好的应用效果。
