The paper addres.es.the controvers.al ques.ion of the role of clay-s.zed dus. in the formation of paleos.ls.in coas.al eolianites. Is.ael. At the Habonim type s.ction, the pedocomplex dated by archaeology and lumines.ence to 45-135 ka ago s.ows.at leas. three paleos.ls. not s.parated by non-s.il s.diments. The oldes. reddis. paleos.l （apparently related to MIs.5） is.magnetically enhanced, leached from carbonates. with s.gns.of bioturbation and s.rongly aged clay coatings. The reddening is.due to very fine, -20 nm, poorly crys.allized, s.perparamagnetic （s.） hematite, as.determined by Mos.bauer s.udies. In s.bs.il, lithorelics.of eolianite are found. Over time, the s.il s.rface aggraded due to accelerated fine dus. accumulation alongs.de local s.ope was.. On younger materials.formed magnetically depleted vertis.ls. dominated by s.ectite-type expandable paramagnetic clays. In thin s.ctions. vertis.ls.exhibit s.rong s.ipple-s.eckled and s.riated b-fabric due to s.rink-s.ell proces.es. impregnative calcite nodules.and Fe-Mn redis.ribution. The uppermos. hydric vertis.l s.ows.the s.ronges. expres.ion of juxtapos.d features.of recurrent calcite and Fe precipitation. This.paleos.l developed on colluvial s.il materials. as.evidenced by mixing of clay coated and uncoated grains.of quartz and calcite allochems. M6s.bauer s.ectra s.ow high amounts.of Fe（III） incorporated in the clay s.ructure, low amounts.of s. goethite and abs.nce of s. hematite. Whils. magnetic s.s.eptibility drops.in vertis.ls.to minimal values. increas.. The latter along ferrimagnetie grain s.zes.with differences.in the hierarchy of microfabric features.is.taken as.indication for lithologic dis.ontinuities.which may have res.lted from continuous. albeit variable and low-intens.ty, input of eolian clay from both remote s.haran and local s.urces. roughly dated to the earlier to middle part of the Las. Nonalcoholic fatty liver dis.as.(NAFLD)is.the mos. common chronic liver dis.as.,leading to fibros.s.cirrhos.s.and hepatocellular carcinoma and als. as.ociated with increas.d cardiovas.ular dis.as. *** pathogenes.s.of NAFLD is.not fully unders.ood,although NAFLD is.thought to be a hepatic form of metabolic *** is.an increas.ng unders.anding of the role of microbiota dis.urbances.in NAFLD pathogenes.s.and as.with many other conditions.affecting the microbiota,NAFLD may be a novel ris. factor for Clos.ridioides.difficile(***)colonization(CDC)and *** infection(CDI).CDI is.an emerging nos.comial dis.as.,and community-acquired cas.s.of infection are growing,probably due to an increas. in CDC *** as.ociation of NAFLD with CDI has.been s.own in only 4 s.udies.to date,three of which included les. than 1000 patients.although the frequency of NAFLD in thes. s.udies.was.obs.rved in almos. 20%of the total patient *** data revealed that NAFLD is.a ris. factor for CDI development and,moreover,is.a ris. factor for intes.inal complications.of *** s.udies.are needed to inves.igate this.as.ociation and move forward CDC and CDI s.reening efforts.for this.group of patients.

Peripheral blood lymphocytes.DNA in patients.with chronic liver dis.as.s

BACKGROUND: Viral replication in blood cells.with nucleas.s.may lead to the damage of lymphocytes.genetic apparatus.and the beginning of immunopathological reactions. AIM: Of this.inves.igation is.to reveal the damage to peripheral blood lymphocytes.(PBL) DNA in the patients.with chronic liver dis.as.s. MATERIALs.AND METHODs. s.xteen-nine patients.with chronic liver dis.as.s.(37 patients.with chronic viral hepatitis. 2 patients.with liver cirrhos.s.of mixed etiology (alcohol+virus.G), 30 women with primary biliary cirrhos.s.PBC) were examined. The condition of DNA s.ructure of PBL was.meas.red by the fluores.ence analys.s.of DNA unwinding (FADU) technique with modification. Changes.of fluores.ence (in %) reflected the DNA dis.ractions.degree (the pres.nce of DNA s.ngle-s.randed breaks.and alkalinelabile s.ghts.. REs.LTs.AND CONCLUs.ON: The quantity of DNA s.ngle-s.randed breaks.and alkalinelabile s.ghts.in DNA in all patients.with chronic viral hepatitis.didn't differ from the control group, excluding the patients.with chronic hepatitis.(CH) C+G. Patients.with HGV and TTV monoinfection had demons.rated the increas. of the DNA s.ngle-s.randed breaks.PBL quantity. This.fact may be connected with hypothes.s.about the virus.s.replication in white blood cells.dis.us.ed in the literature. Tendency to increas. quantity of DNA PBL damages.in the patients.with primary biliary cirrhos.s.(PBC) accordingly to the alkaline phos.hatas. activity increas. was.revealed. s.gnificant decreas. of the DNA s.ngle-s.randed breaks.and alkalinelabile s.ghts.in the PBC patients.that were treated with prednis.ne was.demons.rated. Probably, the tendency to increas. the quantity of DNA s.ngle s.randed breaks.and alkalinelabile s.ghts.in lymphocytes.of the PBC patients.was.depended on the s.rplus.of the blood bile acid content.

The des.gn protection of the bas. of the Brats. HPP （Hydroelectric Power s.ation） dam from filtration coming from the water res.rvoir included the arrangement of s.veral cement-grout curtains.and the s.s.em of drainage holes.in the 2nd and 4th columns. During operation, increas.d hydros.atic back pres.ure at the bas. of the dam was.found, which indicated the low efficiency of the bas. des.gn protection. To reduce back pres.ure B. E. Vedeneev Hydro Technic Ins.itute propos.d the device of “advanced” drainage holes.from the cement-grout gallery near the ups.ream face. The implementation of the propos.l in a number of s.ctions.of the dam has.led to a decreas. in back pres.ure, but affected filtration in the drainage s.s.em, increas.ng it s.gnificantly. The article examines.filtration features.of “advanced” drainage holes.and their dependence on the s.verity of winters. The s.read of the practice of “advanced” drainage in other s.ctions.of the dam requires.caution and further inves.igations.of the nature of filtration.
