This study examines the large amount of agricultural waste produced in Egypt between 2010 and 2019 by analysing data from various departments within the Agriculture *** also provides a comprehensive database on the biomass available from agricultural waste in Egypt and its potential applications for producing power,heat and chemical *** biomass-pyrolysis systems powered by solar energy are used,research demonstrates the potential to convert agricultural waste into a variety of chemical *** approach utilizes solar energy,a clean and renewable source,and has wide-ranging industrial and power generation *** Egypt’s reliance on agriculture,the country currently utilizes little biomass for energy production and has not previously used it as a source for creating chemical products,which could potentially save on the imported oil used in these *** findings of the study are graphically presented using histograms,pie charts,*** overall production of residues reached the 30-mt level in *** it contains the most rice-cultivated land,Dakahlia(Lower Egypt region)produces the highest percentage of the total residue(37.17%).Qena governorate(Upper Egypt region)produces 1.14 metric tons of residues,with sugarcane accounting for 20.3%of the total.

Knowledge of sea surface temperature(SST)behaviour is vital for long-term climate *** study highlights essential outcomes about the distinguishable and unsurprising warming of the SST along the southern border of the Levantine *** analysis is based on monthly SST data for the period *** southern Levantine Basin has undergone SST increase,during the last 71 *** this study,a consistent warming trend has been found for the analysed SST data series,with a rate of 0.04℃/a,i.e.,0.4℃/(10 a).From 1975 to 1991 the mean annual SST was 17.1℃,and this increased to be 19.2℃,over the period *** revealed two opposite trends of variability:a decreasing trend(−0.06℃/a)over the period 1975-1991,and an increasing trend(0.2℃/a)from 2002 to *** the period 1948-2018,positive mean annual SST anomalies had an average of 1.8℃,and negative anomalies had an average of−1.1℃.The lowest SST total increase was found from January to April,with values about 0.03℃,while the highest warming appeared from June to *** driving mechanisms behind the SST changes need to be more investigated,to understand the future trends and impacts of climate change in the Levantine Basin.

Depending on double compound synchronization and compound combination synchronization, a new kind of syn- chronization is introduced which is the double compound combination synchronization （DCCS） of eight n-dimensional chaotic systems. This kind may be considered as a generalization of many types of synchronization. In the communica- tion, based on many of drive and response systems, the transmitted and received signals will be more secure. Using the Lyapunov stability theory and nonlinear feedback control, analytical formulas of control functions are obtained to insure our results. The corresponding analytical expression and numerical treatment are used to show the validity and feasibility of our proposed synchronization scheme. The eight memristor-based Chua oscillators are considered as an example. Other examples can be similarly investigated. The proposed synchronization technique is supported using the mATLAB simula- tion outcomes. We obtain the same results of numerical treatment of our synchronization using simulation observations of our example.

High purity(>99.9% composition) nickel metal specimens were used in electropolishing treatments with an acid-free ionic liquid electrolyte prepared from quaternary ammonium salts as a green polishing solution. Voltammetry and chronoamperometry tests were conducted to determine the optimum conditions for electrochemical polishing. Atomic force microscopy(AFm) revealed nanoscale effectiveness of each polishing treatment. Atomic force microscopy provided an overall observation of the material interface between the treated and unpolished regions. Surface morphology comparisons summarized electrochemical polishing efficiency by providing root-mean-square roughness averages before and after electrochemical polishing to reveal a mirror finish six times smoother than the same nickel metal surface prior to electropolishing. This transition manifested in a marked change in root-mean-squared roughness from 112.58 nm to 18.64 nm and producing a smooth mirror finish. Finally, the mechanism of the ionic liquid during electropolishing revealed decomposition of choline in the form of a transient choline radical by acceptance of an electron from the nickel-working electrode to decompose to trimethylamine and ethanol.

Fluid production from unconsolidated reservoirs often leads in sand production,which poses a number of *** deposition in flowlines can result in significant pressure dips,pipe and facility damage,and obstructions that decrease *** research is needed to understand the movement and deposition of sand in oil-water-sand(O-W-S) *** article focuses on O-W-S flows in a 6-meter-long horizontal pipe with an inner diameter of 0.0381 *** study looks at the flow behavior of high viscosity oil-water(O-W),water-sand(W-S),and oil-water-sand(O-W-S) *** were carried out at 250 psig pressure in a laboratory flow test facility using various heavy synthetic oils(viscosities ranging from 3500 cP to 7500 cP at 25℃) and tap *** sand concentration varied from 1% to 10%,with an average sand particle diameter of 145 μm and material density of 2630 kg/m~*** cuts ranged from 0.0 to *** experimental results revealed a minor change in pressure gradient between(O-W) and(O-W-S) ***,increasing the sand concentration in(O-W-S) flow resulted in higher pressure *** reduction factor of pressure gradient indicated that the highest decrease in pressure drop occurred at higher superficial oil ***,a direct relationship was observed between the reduction factor and the decrease in water *** results also showed that the minimum required transportation velocity for sand slurry decreased with increasing superficial oil velocity,while the minimum transportation condition increased with higher sand *** comparison between the expected pressure gradient from Bannwart and mcKibben et *** the actual experimental data demonstrated significant accuracy for the oil viscosities and superficial oil velocities used in the study.

Hydrolyzed polyacrylamide(HPAm)is a commonly used polymer for the chemicals,mining and refining processes of hydrocarbon but suffers from a persistent high-temperature instability *** contrast,the nanoparticle suspension remains a technical challenge because of the strong interactions of van der Waal forces within nanoparticles,which always encourage *** research sought to improve nanoparticles(NP)stability and polymer(HPAm)rheological properties to improved hydrocarbon recovery by utilizing synthesized graphene oxide(GO)nanosheets and fumed Aerosil 380 Silica oxide(SiO_(2)).The aqueous nanocomposites based on HPAm-GO and HPAm-SiO_(2) in aqueous polymeric solutions have been developed,and its viscoelastic and static behaviour is *** results imply that by adding fumed silica NP,the viscoelastic behaviour of HPAm is marginally improved,particularly in high temperatures and salinity,however,the inclusion of GO's significantly improves the viscosity and stability of the base polymer fluid at high *** Fourier data for the transformation of the infrared spectrum confirmed that the hydrogen bonding formed between HPAm carbonyl groups and silica NP surface silanol functionality and covalent interlinking of electrostatic h-bonding between HPAm and functional GO contributed to the improved stabilization and improved rheological performance that helps to recover high salinity and temperature hydrocarbons.

This paper presents the results of fire resistance tests on carbon fiber-reinforced polymer(CFRP)strengthened concrete flexural members,i.e.,T-beams and *** strengthened members were protected with fire insulation and tested under the combined effects of thermal and structural *** variables considered in the tests include the applied load level,extent of strengthening,and thickness of the fire insulation applied to the beams and ***,a previously developed numerical model was validated against the data generated from the fire tests;subsequently,it was utilized to undertake a case *** from fire tests and numerical studies indicate that owing to the protection provided by the fire insulation,the insulated CFRP-strengthened beams and slabs can withstand four and three hours of standard fire exposure,respectively,under service load *** insulation layer impedes the temperature rise in the member;therefore,the CFRP-concrete composite action remains active for a longer duration and the steel reinforcement temperature remains below 400°C,which in turn enhances the capacity of the beams and slabs.

Water resources are subjected to ever-increasing supply constraints due to extensive agricultural water demand for irrigated ***,water-saving irrigation strategies need to be *** present study was conducted to explore the possibilities of using regulated deficit irrigation(RDI)and partial root zone drying irrigation(PRD)methods as water-saving irrigation techniques for subsurface *** objective of this study are to assess the effects of RDI and PRD irrigation on the water productivity of vegetable crops(tomato)under SSD systems in arid climatic conditions,and to compare the responses of tomato crops to PRD,RDI,and FI under an SSD system in terms of productivity,crop quality,and the amount of water *** field experiment was conducted during the fall 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 seasons in an experimental field located on an educational farm owned by the Faculty of Food and Agriculture Sciences Department,King Saud University,Riyadh,Kingdom of Saudi *** area of 102.7 m^(2)(13 m×7.9 m)was allocated for the experiment to manage three treatments:RDI,PRD,and full irrigation(FI).The RDI and PRD treatments received 70%of the irrigation water volume of *** was replicated three *** most important results indicated that the soil water content(SWC)for the RDI and PRD treatments was lower than that of the FI *** had the highest stomatal conductance values(gs),while PRD had the lowest stomatal conductance *** photosynthetic rate(A_(n))was lower under RDI and PRD compared to ***,there was no significant change in A_(n) between treatments for most readings taken during both time periods,which means that the water saving treatments(PRD and RDI)did not affect the net photosynthesis rate,thereby enhancing irrigation water use efficiency(IWUE)under DI *** water-saving irrigation techniques decreased transpiration rate(T)compared to the FI *** values of the abscisic acid(ABA)contents were higher
