This paper presents the experimental results on the distribution of sediments at channel bifurcation. The experiments have been conducted in a physical model of channel bifurcation. It consists of a straight main channel which bifurcates into two branch channels of different widths. The test rig is a mobile bed with fixed bank. Four different noses have been used to study the phenomenon. For each nose, three upstream discharges viz. 20 l/s, 30 l/s and 40 l/s have been employed. From the measured data, discharges and sediment transport ratios per unit width are calculated in the downstream branches. These data have been set to the general nodal point relation and a set of equations has been developed to describe the distribution of sediments to the downstream branches for different nose angles.

排污管的管道状况信息通常使用闭路电视检查（CCTV）收集。此外，为了评估管道的状况，数据应当由已认证的操作者处理，造成时间和成本的浪费，并且还会因为操作者的熟练或疲劳程度而易于出错。自动检测异常可以减少检查的时间和成本，同时确保评估的准确性和质量。然而，考虑到排污管道中各种类型以及多种模式的缺陷，使用计算机视觉技术来检测似乎是困难的。本文提出了一种有效的异常检测算法，以支持从CCTV检查视频中获得的数据来自动检测排污管道缺陷。在该模型中，理论地采用了用于比例数据建模的隐马尔可夫模型（HMM），评估了以排污管道闭路电视视频为示例的异常检测中的性能。这种算法包括被认为是正常的建模条件和该模型的监测异常值。

AIM:To determine predictors of long term survival after resection of hilar cholangiocarcinoma(HC) by comparing patients surviving > 5 years with those who survived 5 ***:There were 34(14%) long term survivors(5 year survivors) among the 243 *** survivors were younger at diagnosis than those surviving less than 5 years(mean age,50.47 ± 4.45 vs 54.59 ± 4.98,p = 0.001).Gender,clinical presentation,preoperative drainage,preoperative serum bilirubin,albumin and serum glutamic-pyruvic transaminase were similar between the two *** level of CA 19-9 was significantly higher in patients surviving 5 year,includingyoung age(p = 0.001),serum CA19-9(p = 0.0001),non-cirrhotic liver(p = 0.02),major hepatic resection(p = 0.001),caudate lobe resection(p = 0.006),well differentiated tumour(p = 0.03),lymph node status(0.008),R0 resection margin(p = 0.0001) and early postoperative liver cell failure(p = 0.02).CONCLUSION:Liver status,resection of caudate lobe,lymph node status,R0 resection and CA19-9 were demonstrated to be independent risk factors for long term survival.

BACKGROUND Pancreatic cystic lesions(PCLs) are common in clinical practice. The accurate classification and diagnosis of these lesions are crucial to avoid unnecessary treatment of benign lesions and missed opportunities for early treatment of potentially malignant *** To evaluate the role of cyst fluid analysis of different tumor markers such as cancer antigens [e.g., cancer antigen(CA)19-9, CA72-4], carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA), serine protease inhibitor Kazal-type 1(SPINK1), interleukin 1 beta(IL1-β), vascular endothelial growth factor A(VEGF-A), and prostaglandin E2(PGE2)], amylase, and mucin stain in diagnosing pancreatic cysts and differentiating malignant from benign *** This study included 76 patients diagnosed with PCLs using different imaging modalities. All patients underwent endoscopic ultrasound(EUS) and EUS-fine needle aspiration(EUS-FNA) for characterization and sampling of different *** The mean age of studied patients was 47.4 ± 11.4 years, with a slight female predominance(59.2%). Mucin stain showed high statistical significance in predicting malignancy with a sensitivity of 87.1% and specificity of 95.56%. It also showed a positive predictive value and negative predictive value of 93.1% and 91.49%, respectively(P < 0.001). We found that positive mucin stain, cyst fluid glucose, SPINK1, amylase, and CEA levels had high statistical significance(P < 0.0001). In contrast, IL-1β, CA 72-4, VEGF-A, VEGFR2, and PGE2 did not show any statistical significance. Univariate regression analysis for prediction of malignancy in PCLs showed a statistically significant positive correlation with mural nodules, lymph nodes, cyst diameter, mucin stain, and cyst fluid CEA. 目的描述55岁以下的视网膜中央静脉阻塞(CR-VO)患者的临床进程。设计和方法回顾性非比较性的连续病例分析。复习了67例患者的人口统计学、影像、临床和视力数据。对其中随访6个月以上(平均29.2个月)的病例资料进行了统计学分析。主要结果测定最佳矫正视力和眼内新生血管形成的发病率。结果在连续的67例(男性55%,平均年龄45岁)患者中,视力平均为20/50。其中45例(67%)患者被查出至少有1种全身性疾病。在57例随访6个月以上的患者中,最终视力20/40(含)以上的占42%,20/50-20/100的占18%,20/200(含)以下的占40%.在CRVO发病的3-6个月内,绝大部分患者出现了视力减退。在发病的12个月以后,出现视力提高的极少见。就诊视力在20/40(含)以上的22例患者中,36%的患者在最近的1次检查中视力下降到了20/400甚至更低。就诊视力在20/200-20/400的10例患者中,8例视力提高到20/60甚至更高。就诊视力在数指或者更差的6例患者中,没有1例视力得到改善。在CRVO发病的1-9个月内,10例(18%)患者被诊断为眼内新生血管形成。其中前节新生血管形成的患者有6例(11%),包括3例(5%)新生血管性青光眼。新生血管形成的发生与患者的性别、年龄、有无伴随疾病、症状的持续时间和就诊视力均没有明显关系。结论年轻患者的CRVO有着多变的临床过程?

Occult hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection,by definition,is a state in which infection with this virus does not manifest with the conventional diagnostic laboratory criteria reserved for the obvious form of HBV *** a result,occult HBV infection is commonly a surprise finding discovered accidently during the evaluation of other apparent liver diseases,such as hepatitis C virus(HCV)infection or non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and,more importantly,their evolution into life-threatening hepatocellular *** infection with HCV and occult HBV is rarely considered when assessing these more obvious conditions,and in an attempt to offer a better understanding of this phenomenon,this study attempted to shed some light onto the uniqueness of occult HBV infection by addressing the natural history of HBV and HCV infections,as well as non-alcoholic fatty liver *** was carried out by taking into account the exclusive integration process undertaken by the HBV genome into infected host hepatocytes,with consideration given to conditions which afford reactivation of the occult infection and stress on the molecular mechanisms that underlie occult HBV ***,the clinical outcome of occult HBV infection and its relation to hepatocellular carcinoma is analyzed.
