Machine learning based image analysis for predicting and diagnosing certain diseases has been entirely trustworthy and even as efficient as a domain expert’s ***,the style of non-transparency functioning by a trained machine learning system poses a more significant impediment for seamless knowledge trajectory,clinical mapping,and delusion *** this proposed study,a deep learning based framework that employs deep convolution neural network(Deep-CNN),by utilizing both clinical presentations and conventional magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)investigations,for diagnosing tumors is *** research aims to develop a model that can be used for abnormality detection over MRI data quite efficiently with high *** research is based on deep learning and Deep-CNN was deployed to examine the MR brain image for tracing the *** system runs on Tensor flow and uses a feature extraction module in DeepCNN to elicit the factors of that part of the image from where underlying issues are identified and subsequently succeeded in prediction of the disease in the MR *** results of this study showed that our model did not have any adverse effect on classification,achieved higher accuracy than the peers in recent years,and attained good detection outcomes including case of *** the future work,further improvement can be made by designing models that can drastically reduce the parameter space without affecting classification accuracy.

Objective:To investigate hepatoprotective activity of ethanol extract of Melothria heterophyila Lour Cogn.（EEMH） against CCl4-induced hepatic damage in ***:β-sitosterol was isolated by column chromatography and characterized *** different doses（200 and 400 mg/kg bw） of EEMH were administered orally in alternate *** hepatoprotective activity was studied in liver by measuring biochemical parameters such as serum aspartate amino transferase（AST）,alanine amino transferase（ALT）,alkaline phosphatase（ALP）,total protein and total *** peroxidation product and different antioxidant enzyme activities were assessed in liver ***:EEMH reduced all biochemical parameters and lipid peroxidation,as well as it increased the antioxidant enzyme activities in comparison with *** protective effect of the extract on CCl4 induced damage was confirmed by histopathological examination of the ***:This result strongly supports the protective effect of EEMH against acute liver injury,and may be attributed to its antioxidative activity.

The synthesis of bioactive steroids is catalyzed by an array of enzymes of diverse properties and *** the present study,seasonal dynamics and kinetics of key steroidogenic enzymes,17α-hydroxylase(Cyp17a),3β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase(Hsd3b),20α-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase(Hsd20a)and 20β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase(Hsd20b)were investigated in the female catfish Heteropneustes ***,the effects of the estrogen metabolite 2-hydroxyestradiol-17β(2-OHE2)and human chorionic gonadotropin(hCG)on activities of the above enzymes,cytochrome P450 aromatase(Cyp19a1),and steroid products including testosterone and cortisol were *** enzymes under investigation showed significant seasonal variations across the annual ovarian cycle with low activity in the gonad resting *** enzymes Hsd3b and Cyp17a showed high activity during early oogenesis but the activities of Hsd20a and Hsd20b were higher towards late oogenesis in the spawning ***3b and Cyp17a elicited high apparent Km values(low substrate affinity)and high apparent Vmax in the vitellogenic phase compared to the postvitellogenic ***20a did not elicit any significant differences in the kinetic parameters between the two ***20b showed high apparent Km values(low substrate affinity)and high Vmax in the postvitellogenic *** incubation of ovarian slices with 2-OHE2 for 24 h increased dose-dependently Hsd3b,Cyp17a,Hsd20a and Hsd20b activities,similar to *** levels of the corresponding C21 steroid products,progesterone(P4),17α-hydroxyprogesterone(17-OHP4),17,20α-dihydroxy-4-pregnen-3-one(17,20α-DP)and 17,20β-dihydoxy-4-pregnen-3-one(17,20β-DP),and cortisol were ***,2-OHE2 decreased significantly the C19 and C18 steroids,testosterone and E2 levels,and Cyp19a *** co-incubation with hCG and 2-OHE2 produced a synergistic effect on the enzyme activities except that of *** co-incubation reversed the inhibitory effect of *** data show that

High-cycle fatigue behavior of friction stir butt welded 6061 aluminium alloy

Friction stir welding （FSW） of 6061 aluminium alloy butt joint was carried out at each rotation speed of 600, 800, 1000, 1200 r/min for two different travel speeds, 80 and 100 mm/min, at a constant probe depth of 1.85 mm. The calculated energy input based on the FSW parameters studied shows that the ultimate tensile strength （UTS） of the butt joint is obtained within a certain range of energy input of 297 kJ to 354 kJ out of total range of energy input studied from 196 kJ to 405 kJ. The fatigue behaviors of high-strength and low-strength joints performed at different stress ratios, i.e., 0.5, 0.3, 0.1, -0.3, -0.5, indicate that the fatigue behaviors of both the welds are sensitive to the microstructural features, such as stir zone （SZ）, thermo mechanically affected zone （TMAZ） and heat affected zone （HAZ）. The observed fatigue strengths were discussed in terms of the microstructure, crack path behavior and fracture surface.

Binding interaction of phosphorus heterocycles with bovine serum albumin:A biochemical study

Interaction between bovine serum albumin(BSA) and phosphorus heterocycles(PHs) was studied using multispectroscopic techniques. The results indicated the high binding affinity of PHs to BSA as it quenches the intrinsic fluorescence of BSA. The experimental data suggested the fluorescence quenching mechanism between PHs and BSA as a dynamic quenching. From the UV–vis studies, the apparent association constant(K_(app)) was found to be 9.25×10~2, 1.27×10~4and 9.01×10~2L/mol for the interaction of BSA with PH-1, PH-2 and PH-3,respectively. According to the F?rster's non-radiation energy transfer(FRET) theory, the binding distances between BSA and PHs were calculated. The binding distances(r) of PH-1, PH-2 and PH-3 were found to be2.86, 3.03, and 5.12 nm, respectively, indicating energy transfer occurs between BSA and PHs. The binding constants of the PHs obtained from the fluorescence quenching data were found to be decreased with increase of temperature. The negative values of the thermodynamic parameters ΔH, ΔS and ΔG at different temperatures revealed that the binding process is spontaneous; hydrogen bonds and van der Waals interaction were the main force to stabilize the complex. The microenvironment of the protein-binding site was studied by synchronous fluorescence and circular dichroism(CD) techniques and data indicated that the conformation of BSA changed in the presence of PHs. Finally, we studied the BSA-PHs docking using Auto Dock and results suggest that PHs is located in the cleft between the domains of BSA.

Adsorption of Methyl Orange onto Chitosan from Aqueous Solution

Chitosan was utilized as adsorbent to remove methyl orange (MO) from aqueous solution by adsorption. Batch experiments were conducted to study the effects of pH, initial concentration of adsorbate and temperature on dye adsorption. The kinetic data obtained from different batch experiments were analyzed using both pseudo first-order and pseudo second-order equations. The equilibrium adsorption data were analyzed by using the Freundlich and Langmuir models. The best results were achieved with the pseudo second-order kinetic model and with the Langmuir isotherm equilibrium model. The equilibrium adsorption capacity (qe) increases with increasing the initial concentration of dye and with decreasing pH. The values of qe were found to be slightly increased with increasing solution temperatures. The activation energy (Ea) of sorption kinetics was found to be 10.41 kJ/mol. Thermodynamic parameters such as change in free energy (△G), enthalpy (△H) and entropy (△S) were also discussed.

Solving complex post-disaster reconstruction challenges requires the altruistic involvement of heterogeneous stakeholder ***,small,more organized groups,such as government parastatals,private developers,and contractors often exploit large,unorganized groups,such as affected communities,leaving them more vulnerable to future *** on data collected from a case study in Pakistan,this study proposed a framework to assess,anticipate,and mitigate the exploitation of vulnerable stakeholders in post-disaster reconstruction *** framework draws on influential management theories and utilizes reciprocal relationships between stakeholder attributes(power,legitimacy,and urgency),participation,and *** study also argued for non-binary treatment of stakeholder *** framework will allow practitioners to address issues around the exploitation of stakeholder interests in future post-disaster reconstruction projects.

Effect of Nano Size TiO<sub>2</sub>Particles on Mechanical Properties of AWS E 11018M Type Electrode

Addition of nano size particles of TiO2 in the coating of shielded metal arc welding electrode (E 11018M) partially substituting the conventional micro size TiO2 was studied for possible enhanced electrode characteristics. The results show that the nano size particle of TiO2 improved recovery of elements such as Mn, Ni, Mo, Ti etc. as well as increased all-weld-metal tensile and charpy impact properties at –51℃. Furthermore, the charpy impact properties were found to be very sensitive to variations in Ti content of the weld deposit.
