IM To study the radioimmunoimaging (RAII) using the human/mouse chimeric Ab to evaluate its targeting activity in animal models.METHODS To chimeric Ab was labeled with 131I. RAII was performed at different intervals after injection of radiolabeled Abs in nude mice with human hepatoma xenograft, and tissue distribution of radioactivity was measured. Comparison was made in the chimeric Ab between the single segment Ab and previous murine mAb against HBxAg.RESULTS The experimental objects developed tumorpositive image after 2 days of radiolabeled Abs injection, and the peak accumulation of radioactivity fell on the 7th day. The tumor/liver ratioactivity of the chimeric Ab, single segment Ab, antiHBx mAb, and the control group was 281±021, 244±016, 460±019, and 096±014, respectively.CONCLUSION The genetic engineering Abs have a considerable targeting activity which can be used as a novel humanized vector in the targeting treatment of liver cancer..

AIM To certify the relationship between AFP mRNA and some pathological parameters of he-patocellular carcinoma (HCC).METHOD We detected the expression of AFP in mRNA level in tissue samples from 52 patients suffering from HCC by RT-PCR *** The positive rate of AFP mRNA was 76.9% in the HCC tumor tissues, and 69.4% in the paratumor tissues from the HCC patients with severe cirrhosis. However, in HCC patients without cirrhosis, the positive rate reached 50% in tumor tissues, but no AFP mRNA expression was found in the related paratumor *** The AFP protein was specially expressed by HCC cells and mutated hepatocytes. The AFP mRNA was positively related with cirrhosis, but no significant relationship was found between AFP mRNA and tumor size, capsule status and tumor metastasis.

Quantized feedback control is fundamental to system synthesis with limited communication *** sharp contrast to the existing literature on quantized control which requires an explicit dynamical model,the authors study the quadratic stabilization and performance control problems with logarithmically quantized feedback in a direct data-driven framework,where the system state matrix is not exactly known and instead,belongs to an ambiguity set that is directly constructed from a finite number of noisy system *** this end,the authors firstly establish sufficient and necessary conditions via linear matrix inequalities for the existence of a common quantized controller that achieves our control objectives over the ambiguity ***,the authors provide necessary conditions on the data for the solvability of the LMIs,and determine the coarsest quantization density via semi-definite *** theoretical results are validated through numerical examples.

The Nesterov accelerated dynamical approach serves as an essential tool for addressing convex optimization problems with accelerated convergence *** previous studies in this field have primarily concentrated on unconstrained smooth con-vex optimization *** this paper,on the basis of primal-dual dynamical approach,Nesterov accelerated dynamical approach,projection operator and directional gradient,we present two accelerated primal-dual projection neurodynamic approaches with time scaling to address convex optimization problems with smooth and nonsmooth objective functions subject to linear and set constraints,which consist of a second-order ODE(ordinary differential equation)or differential conclusion system for the primal variables and a first-order ODE for the dual *** satisfying specific conditions for time scaling,we demonstrate that the proposed approaches have a faster conver-gence *** only requires assuming convexity of the objective *** validate the effectiveness of our proposed two accel-erated primal-dual projection neurodynamic approaches through numerical experiments.

AIM To study the angiogenesis induced by liver cancer with different metastatic potentials using corneal micropocket model in nude *** Corneal micropockets were created in nude mice. Tumor tissues and liver tissues were implanted into the corneal micropockets. Angiogenesis was observed using a digital camera under slit-lamp biomicroscope, and compared among different grafts and incision alone. Vascular responses were recorded in regard to the range, number and length of new blood vessels toward the grafts or *** Vascular responses induced by tumor tissues were greater than those by incision alone and liver tissue grafts. LCI-D20 induced more intensive angiogenesis than *** Highly metastatic liver cancer LCI D20 was more angiogenic than low metastatic cancer LCI D35 and liver tissue. Micropocket was a useful model to study dynamic process of angiogenesis in vivo.
