The herbicide diuron is widely used in agricultural areas in Brazil, whereas it has high potential for subsurface water contamination due to its physicochemical characteristics. Recent studies have demonstrated the potential of biochar as a sorbent and possible pesticide leaching mitigation. The objective of this study was to investigate the long-term effect of biochar application on the kinetics of sorption and desorption of diuron in a Cerrado Haplic Plinthosol. Samples were collected in an experiment conducted in the field in a randomized block design consisting of the combination of two levels of fertilizer application (0 and 300 kg ha −1 of 5-25-15 formula of NPK fertilizers) and three doses of biochar (0, 16, and 32 Mg ha −1 ). The Freundlich isotherm accurately described the sorption of diuron in all treatments. Biochar application increased the sorption and reduced the desorption of diuron. This effect was attributed to the contribution of biochar to total organic carbon (C) and C in the humin fraction and to the increase in the reactivity of the humic acid and humin fractions, which was significantly highly correlated with the sorption coefficient ( K f ). A positive correlation between the partition coefficient of organic C and K f confirmed the importance of the soil organic compartment for the sorption of diuron. The higher diuron sorption and lower diuron desorption capacities of sandy soils after biochar application could reduce the potential risk of diuron leaching and contamination of subsurface water.

The MYB34, MYB51, and MYB122 transcription factors are known to regulate indolic glucosinolate （IG） biosynthesis in Arabidopsis thaliana. To determine the distinct regulatory potential of MYB34, MYB51, and MYB122, the accumulation of IGs in different parts of plants and upon treatment with plant hormones were analyzed in A. thaliana seedlings. It was shown that MYB34, MYB51, and MYB122 act together to control the biosynthesis of 13M in shoots and roots, with MYB34 controlling biosynthesis of IGs mainly in the roots, MYB51 regulating biosynthesis in shoots, and MYB122 having an accessory role in the biosynthesis of IGs. Analysis of glucosinolate levels in seedlings of myb34, myb51, myb122, myb34 myb51 double, and myb34 myb51 myb122 triple knockout mutants grown in the presence of abscisic acid （ABA）, salicylic acid （SA）, jasmonate （JA）, or ethylene （ET） revealed that：（1） MYB51 is the central regulator of IG synthesis upon SA and ET signaling, （2） MYB34 is the key regulator upon ABA and JA signaling, and （3） MYB122 plays only a minor role in JA/ET-induced glucosinolate biosynthesis. The myb34 myb51 myb122 triple mutant is devoid of IGs, indicating that these three MYB factors are indispensable for IG production under standard growth conditions.

This study briefly describes the targets and problems of the future Japanese project In situ Lunar Orientation Measurement(ILOM),which is planned for the year *** of the important parts of the project is to place a small optical telescope on the Lunar surface with the purpose to detect the Lunar physical libration with unprecedented accuracy 0.001 *** the present stage of research the computer simulation of future observations is going on,aiming to determine the moments of transition of a star through the first meridian and the polar distance of the *** of the Moon is being calculated under the analytical theory developed in the frame of a theme of the grant.A list of stars brighter than 12 m,whose coordinates are close to the Lunar precession pole motion,was constructed on the basis of several star *** average,for each moment of observation in the field of view of the telescope(1°) there are approximately 20-25 *** of simulated stellar tracks observable from the Lunar surface(in a polar zone) reveal the significant difference from daily parallels of stars in comparison with the *** one Lunar "day" equal 237 terrestrial days,a star moves on a ***,depending on a longitude of a star,these spirals can be untwisted or *** the latter case a star can describe a loop in the sky of the Moon during the period of *** an unusual astrometric phenomenon combined with the slow rotation of the Moon is compared with the Earth and the fast precession motion of the Lunar pole(in comparison with the precession motion of a terrestrial pole).

Relative weakness in sensitivity and contribution integration,especially lack of specific indicators at spatial and temporal scales,may hinder the formation of systematic knowledge for climate change impact on vegetation *** the interannual variability and periods difference,we investigated the ecosystem sensitivity to hydrothermal conditions and the contribution of individual climatic factors to vegetation activity on spatiotemporal scales during the period of 1980s—2013 in *** ran simulations of the Common Land Model(CoLM)to obtain the photosynthetic rate,and used the satellite-derived Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI),to which we applied a temporal sensitivity analysis,the slope change ratio of accumulative quantity(SCRAQ),and geographical *** show that the discrepancy between warming and precipitation variation contributed to vegetation activity was more notable than the ecosystem sensitivity to hydrothermal conditions,regardless of which temporal and spatial scale was *** sensitivity of vegetation activity to hydrothermal variation in most parts of northeastern and western China was higher than elsewhere,and the contribution of warming to vegetation dynamics was relatively high in the Inner Mongolian Plateau and Tibetan Plateau(>60%),where the contribution of warming to the vegetation distribution was also greater than elsewhere in ***,the contribution of precipitation variation to vegetation dynamics was comparatively greater in northwestern China and subtropical and tropical regions(>55%).The spatiotemporal contribution of precipitation variation to vegetation activity differed between regions,especially on the Tibetan Plateau and in subtropical and tropical ***,both the temporal and spatial sensitivities to climate change were weak in the subtropical and tropical regions,where the contribution of climatic factors to vegetation distribution was also ***,temperature sensit

Nowadays,activities of daily living(ADL)recognition system has been considered an important field of computer *** and optical sensors are widely used to assess the daily living activities in healthy people and people with certain *** conventional ADL utilizes RGB optical sensors but an RGB-D camera with features of identifying depth(distance information)and visual cues has greatly enhanced the performance of activity *** this paper,an RGB-D-based ADL recognition system has been ***,human silhouette has been extracted from the noisy background of RGB and depth images to track human movement in a *** on these silhouettes,full body features and point based features have been extracted which are further optimized with probability based incremental learning(PBIL)***,random forest classifier has been used to classify activities into different *** n-fold crossvalidation scheme has been used to measure the viability of the proposed model on the RGBD-AC benchmark dataset and has achieved an accuracy of 92.71%over other state-of-the-art methodologies.
