结合氢在GaN中的扩散特性,运用阴极荧光(CL)谱,对氢化前后低能电子束辐照下GaN带边发光强度的演变进行了研究.实验发现,氢化前GaN在低能电子束辐照下带边发光强度呈现衰减的趋势,而氢化后带边发射强度先上升后衰减,而且氢化后的衰减比氢化前弱.1h辐照过程中,氢化后GaN带边发光强度的变化比氢化前要小很多.另外,实验中发现经过氢化处理的GaN在辐照后20h内没有观察到带边发射强度的恢复.研究表明氢原子在GaN中可以钝化缺陷来增强发光,但这种钝化缺陷的作用必须通过克服高的扩散势垒来实现,而低能电子束可以提供足够的能量使得氢原子克服扩散势垒来实现钝化作用.研究实验充分证明了氢的扩散是GaN中实现氢钝化作用的一个重要前提.

AIM To evaluate the performance of 18-fluoro-2-deoxyglucose positron emission tomography(FDG-PET) for esophageal cancer(EC) *** We retrospectively analyzed the data of consecutive asymptomatic individuals who underwent FDG-PET and esophagogastroduodenoscopy(EGD) simultaneously for cancer screening at our institution from February 2004 to March 2013. In total, 14790 FDG-PET and EGD procedures performed for 8468 individuals were included in this study, and the performance of FDGPET for EC screening was assessed by comparing the results of FDG-PET and EGD, considering the latter as the *** Thirty-two EC lesions were detected in 28 individuals(31 squamous cell carcinomas and 1 adenocarcinoma). The median tumor size was 12.5 mm, and the depths of the lesions were as follows: Tis(n = 12), T1a(n = 15), and T1b(n = 5). Among the 14790 FDG-PET procedures, 51 examinations(0.3%) showed positive findings in the esophagus; only 1 was a true-positive finding. The screen sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, and negative predictive value of FDGPET for ECs were 3.6%(95%CI: 0.1-18.3), 99.7%(95%CI: 99.6-99.7), 2.0%(95%CI: 0.0-10.4), and 99.8%(95%CI: 99.7-99.9), respectively. Of the 50 FDG-PET false-positive cases, 31 were observed in the lower esophagus, and gastroesophageal reflux disease was observed in 17 of these 31 *** This study is the first to clarify the FDG-PET performance for EC screening. Based on the low screen sensitivity, FDG-PET is considered to be difficult to use as a screening modality for ECs.

AIM： To evaluate the effects of a portocaval shunt on the decrease of excessive portal flow for the prevention of sinusoidal microcirculatory injury in extremely smallfor-size liver transplantation in pigs. METHODS： The right lateral lobe of pigs, i.e. the 25% of the liver, was transplanted orthotopically. The pigs were divided into two groups： graft without portocaval shunt （n = 11） and graft with portocaval shunt （n = 11）. Survival rate, portal flow, hepatic arterial flow, and histological findings were investigated. RESULTS： In the group without portocaval shunt, all pigs except one died of liver dysfunction within 24 h afcer transplantation. In the group with portocaval shunt, eight pigs survived for more than 4 d. The portal flow volumes before and after transplantation in the group without portocaval shunt were 118.2±26.9 mL/min/100 g liver tissue and 270.5±72.9 ml./min/100 g liver tissue, respectively. On the other hand, in the group with portocaval shunt, those volumes were 124.2±27.8 ml./ min/100 g liver tissue and 42.7±32.3 mL/min/100 g liver tissue, respectively （P〈0.01）. As for histological findings in the group without portocaval shunt, destruction of the sinusoidal lining and bleeding in the peri-portal areas were observed afl：er reperfusion, but these findings were not recognized in the group with portocaval shunt. CONCLUSION： These results suggest that excessive portal flow is attributed to post transplant liver dysfunction after extreme small-for-size liver transplantation caused by sinusoidal microcirculatory injury.

Recently, mixed phenotype acute leukemia (MPAL) with t (9;22) (q34;q11.2);bcr-abl1 was described as one kind of acute leukemia of ambiguous lineage in the 2008 World Health Organization Classification of Tumors of Hematopoietic and Lymphoid Tissues. However, treatment strategy remains difficult for this uncommon MPAL. In addition, this type of MPAL is at high risk of tumor lysis syndrome (TLS) because of high chemo-sensitivity. Here, we report a MPAL with t (9;22) (q34;q11.2);bcr-abl1 case that suffered from life-threatening cerebral bleeding associated with disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) with TLS after bcr-abl positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) type induction therapy who was successfully treated with recombinant human thrombomodulin (rhTM). This case reached complete remission without additive cerebral bleeding. In conclusion, bcr-abl positive ALL type induction therapy was effective for MPAL with t (9;22) (q34;q11.2);bcr-abl1 and rhTM was effective against DIC with TLS.

Recently, the prognosis of multiple myeloma has been improved by using high-dose chemotherapy followed by autologous peripheral blood stem cell transplantation (ASCT), bortezomib, and immunomodulatory drugs including thalidomide and lenalidomide. On the other hand, treatment strategy remains difficult for refractory and relapse cases. Here, we report the successful treatment of low-dose lenalidomide maintenance therapy followed by salvage ASCT in a heavily treated patient with multiple myeloma. This 58-year-old woman with IgG-λ multiple myeloma had a 5th recurrence in June, 2011. It was 7 years post-diagnosis, and she had received conventional therapies such as VAD, MP therapy. Furthermore, the patient had already been treated with ASCT, bortezomib, and thalidomide therapy. At the 5th recurrence, she had extramedullary plasmacytoma in the left orbit. She initially received bortezomib and dexamethasone therapy as induction therapy. After peripheral blood stem cell collection, radiation therapy was performed. The patient then received a second ASCT. Three months later, the response was very good partial response. Finally, the patient was treated with 5 mg/day lenalidomide orally as a maintenance therapy, and she achieved stringent complete response after 2 months according to International Myeloma Working Group response criteria. Low-dose lenalidomide maintenance therapy might be also useful for ASCT as salvage therapy, although further studies are warranted.

＜正＞MF is a half shaft blast furnace which has been developed at Mitsui Miike Smelter in the 1960’s to treat vertical retort residue. The MF has been tested for treatment of various recycling materials and wastes. Now various secondaries and wastes （fly Ash, EAF dust, zinc leaching residue, Cu sludge, etc. ） are mainly treated. Powder materials are briquetted with reductant before being fed to the furnace. Products are crude zinc oxide, matte, non-hazardous slag and steam. Zinc and lead are recovered in oxide dust, and copper and silver are recovered in matte. The MF can be widely applied to many kinds of materials which contain such non-ferrous metal-valuables. In addition, the improvement in operation and technology has effectively made the unit capacity much larger. The MF now has many advantages for these treatment processes.

The interactions of phospholipid monolayers (dipalmitoyl phosphatidyl choline;DPPC and dimyristoyl phosphatidyl choline;DMPC) with volatile anesthetic isoflurane were investigated using quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) and quartz crystal impedance (QCI) methods. The quartz crystal oscillator was attached horizontally on the surface of DPPC and DMPC monolayer formed on the water surface. Physisorption of isoflurane hydrate at the DPPC monolayer surface was monitored in terms of frequency and resistance change of quartz crystal on addition of anesthetics isoflurane. Both frequency and resistance change showed the elastic nature of DPPC monolayer. Measurement of DMPC monolayer-isoflurane hydrate revealed the expandable nature of DMPC monolayer. Variation of frequency and impedance of DPPC and DMPC monolayer on addition of isoflurane which proved a two-step change has occurred at monolayer surface at isoflurane concentration of ≤8 mM that has been attributed to isoflurane aggregation at monolayer/water interface. Isoflurane hydrates formed in the process have capability to affect the interfacial properties of monolayer such as existence of structured water.
