Aim:To examine whether the protective effect of remifentanil preconditioning（RPC）on postischemic hearts is mediated by protein kinase（PKC）activation incomparison with ischemic preconditioning（IPC）.Methods:Male Sprague-Dawleyrats were anesthetized and their chests were *** experiment was per-formed with chelerythrine（CHE,2mg/kg）,GF109203X（0.05 mg/kg）protein kinaseC（PKC）inhibitors administered before RPC(remifentanil 6μ***-1·min-1×3 cycle)orIPC,*** size（IS）,as a percentage of the area at risk（AAR）,wasdetermined by triphenyltetrazolium ***:In groups subjected to IPCand RPC the IS/AAR were significantly reduced（IS/AAR from 52.7%±5.5% to12.9%±3.4%,P0.05 vs CON）or IPC（CHE+IPC 53.7%±4.3%,GF+IPC54.1%±6.2%,P>0.05 vs CON）.The difference was not significant in any of thehemodynamic parameters between control and treatment groups during ischemiaand ***:Remifentanil confers myocardial protection againstischemic injury through a mechanism that is similar to IPC and involves PKCactivation.

We present the first numerical solution that corresponds to a pair of Cho–Maison monopoles and antimonopoles(MAPs) in the SU(2) × U(1) Weinberg–Salam(WS) *** monopoles are finitely separated,while each pole carries a magnetic charge ±4π/*** positive pole is situated in the upper hemisphere,whereas the negative pole is in the lower *** Cho–Maison MAP is investigated for a range of Weinberg angles,0.4675≤ tan θ_(W)≤10,and Higgs self-coupling,0 ≤ β ≤ *** magnetic dipole moment(μm) and pole separation(d_(z)) of the numerical solutions are calculated and *** total energy of the system,however,is infinite due to point singularities at the locations of monopoles.

Background Preconditioning with remifentanil confers cardioprotection. Since Ca^2＋ overload is a precipitating factor of injury, we determined the effects of remefentanil on intracellular Ca^2＋（[Ca^2＋]i） and its transients induced by electrical stimulation and caffeine, which reflects Ca^2＋ handling by Ca^2＋ handling proteins, in rat ventricular myocytes. Methods Freshly isolated adult male Sprague-Dawley rat myocytes were loaded with Fura-2/AM and [Ca]i was determined by spectrofluorometry. Remifentanil at 0.1-1000 μg/L was administered. Ten minutes after administration, either 0.2 Hz electrical stimulation was applied or 10 mmol/L caffeine was added. The [Ca^2＋]i, and the amplitude, time resting and 50% decay （t50） of both transients induced by electrical stimulation （E[Ca^2＋]i） and caffeine （C[Ca^2＋]i） were determined. Results Remifentanil （0.1-1000.0 μg/L） decreased the [Ca^2＋]i in a dose-dependent manner. It also decreased the amplitude of both transients dose-dependently. Furthermore, it increased the time to peak and tso of both transients dose-dependently. Conclusion Remifentanil reduced the [Ca^2＋]i and suppressed the transients induced by electrical stimulation and caffeine in rat ventricular myocytes.

The commercial viability of thermoelectric(TE)devices relies heavily on two factors:cost reduction and efficiency *** this study,we first produce p-type Cu_(12)Sb_(4)S_(16-x)(x=0,3,4)using a low-temperature bottom-up approach and demonstrate Cu_(12)Sb_(4)S_(13)to show the best TE performance among the three tested ***,the TE energy conversion efficiency of Cu_(12)Sb_(4)S_(13)is further enhanced by optimizing its electronic band structure through the incorporation of small amounts of *** an optimal Te content of 5 mol%,more than a twofold increase in the TE figure of merit(zT)is *** gain insight into the mechanism of improvement on the transport properties of the mate-rial,we compare the interphase transport mechanism by incorporating nanodomains of different metals(Ag and Cu)into the Cu_(12)Sb_(4)S_(13)*** improved electrical conductivity obtained with Cu_(12)Sb_(4)S_(13)-Te nanocomposites is attributed to a charge flooding of the Cu_(12)Sb_(4)S_(13)*** contrast,excessive down-ward band-bending at the interphases of Ag/Cu metal-semiconductor drastically reduces the electrical ***,a weighted mobility(μw)analysis shows a dominant thermal activation of carri-ers in Cu_(12)Sb_(4)S_(13)-Te *** this material,a strong decrease in lattice thermal conductivity is also found,which is associated with a phonon-carrier scattering *** work shows the impor-tance of proper band-engineering in TE nanocomposites to decouple electrical and thermal transport to enhance TE performance,and the efficacy ofμw for electrical and thermal transport analysis.

For the applications of the frequency comb in microresonators,it is essential to obtain a fully frequency-stabilized microcomb laser *** this study,we present a system for generating a fully atom-referenced stabilized soliton *** pump light around 1560.48 nm is locked to an ultra-low-expansion(ULE)*** pump light is then frequency-doubled and referenced to the atomic transition *** repetition rate of the soliton microcomb is injection-locked to an atomic-clockstabilized radio frequency(RF)source,leading to mHz stabilization at 1 *** a result,all comb lines have been frequencystabilized based on the atomic reference and the ULE cavity,achieving a very high precision of approximately 18 Hz at 1 s,corresponding to the frequency stability of 9.5×10^(-14).Our approach provides a fully stabilized microcomb experiment scheme with no requirement of f-2f technique,which could be easily implemented and generalized to various photonic platforms,thus paving the way towards the ultraprecise optical sources for high precision spectroscopy.

有证据表明 ,心脏细胞产生强腓肽和强腓肽类多肽 ,它们是kappa阿片受体 (κ OR)的激动剂。κ OR是心脏一种优势的阿片受体 ,其激活可改变在体和离体心脏的功能。在正常和病理情况下 ,内源性κ 阿片肽可能通过自分泌或旁分泌的方式调节心脏功能。心肌缺血是导致心脏功能紊乱的一个常见原因 ,主要表现为心肌功能减弱 ,心律失常及心肌梗塞等。心肌缺血时 ,交感神经发放增强 ,从而增加作功负荷及氧消耗量 ;而这又使缺血引发的状况更为恶化。机体抵抗缺血引发心肌损害 /心律失常的保护机制之一是抑制 β 肾上腺素受体 ( β AR)的兴奋。κ OR确实能抑制β AR的激动。这种抑制主要是由于GS蛋白受到抑制 ,也在较小程度上由于信息通路的腺苷酸环化酶的抑制。因为该种酶能通过对百日咳毒素敏感的G蛋白转导β AR的激动。另一保护心肌对抗缺血性损害的机制是预处理。预处理是指预先受到缺血等损伤使心脏对随后更严重的损伤产生较强的耐受能力。这种保护作用可以在预处理后即时产生 ,也可延至预处理后 1- 3天。在采用缺血或其产生的后果之一代谢抑制作为预处理而致的心脏保护中 ,κ OR参与媒介预处理的作用。用κ OR的特异性激动剂U5 0 488H激活κ OR (U5 0 488H药理性预处理 ,UP)可激活蛋白激酶C (PKC) 。
