Perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have attracted significant research.interest due to the rapid rise in ***,a large efficiency gap still exists between laboratory-based small devices and industrialoriented large-scale *** of the main reasons for the efficiency losses is the degraded quality and morphology of the deposited large-area films,which.is closely associated with crystallization *** this review,we discuss the nucleation and crystallization processes in solution and vaporbased up-scaling deposition methods for large-area perovskite *** review recent scientific ach.evements and tech.ical developments that have been made in the field of large-area *** present the existing problems that limit the performance of large devices and extensively discuss the key influencing parameters from the perspective of nucleation and crystallization over large *** review highlights the importance of crystallization control in up-scaling fabrications and presents promising strategies towards large-area perovskite-based optoelectronic devices.

It has been proposed that during cognitive processes, "online" memory traces in the brain are carried by reverberatory activity in neuronal circuits. However, the nature of such.reverberation has remained elusive from experimental studies, largely due to the enormous complexity of intact circuits. Recent works have attempted to address this issue using cultured neuronal network and have revealed new dynamic properties of network reverberation as well as the underlying cellular mech.nisms. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of in vitro networks as a useful tool for mech.nistic dissection of neuronal circuit dynamics.

The biogenic monoamines dopamine （DA）, norepinephrine （NE） and serotonin （5-hydroxytryptamine, 5-HT） are major neuromodulators in the mammalian central nervous system （CNS）. DA containing neurons are found in i） the mesolimbic system in which.cell bodies in the ventral tegmental area （VTA） project axons into the amygdala, cortex, hippocampus and the nucleus accumbens; and ii） the nigrostriatal system in which.cell bodies located in the substantia nigra pars compacta send their axons into the dorsolateral parts of the striatum （Bjorklund and Dunnett, 2007）. The central noradrenergic neurons are concentrated in distinct brainstem nuclei with the locus coeruleus （LC） being the most prominent nucleus which.projects a diffusely arborizing axonal network to most areas of the CNS （Szabadi, 2013）.

We adopt the concept of using pheromones to generate a set of static paths that can reach.the performance of global dynamic routing strategy[***.E 81(2010)016113].The path generation method consists of two *** the first stage,a pheromone is dropped to the nodes by packets forwarded according to the global dynamic routing *** the second stage,pheromone static paths are generated according to the pheromone *** output paths can greatly improve traffic systems'overall capacity on different network structures,including scale-free networks,small-world networks and random *** the paths are static,the system needs much.less computational resources than the global dynamic routing strategy.

Psych.atric illness, such.as affective disorders, anxiety disorders and sch.zophrenia, exerts exceptional personal burden on affected individuals. Although not physically noticeable, these disorders cost enormously on ones' family and society. Currently pharma-ceutical and psych.logical treatments are generally accepted as effective for psych.atric disorders, while the exact mech.nisms underlying the treatment efficacy, etiology and neurobiology of the disorders remain elusive. In the past decade, "neurogenic hy-pothesis" emerged as an attempt to explain the nature of psych.atric illness. The origination of the hypothesis is based on several pre-clinical and clinical observations. First, stress, which.is a common risk factor of the disorders, was found to suppress neurogenesis; second, treatment for the illnesses like antidepressants and antipsych.tics were shown to improve neurogenesis and behavioral deficits simultaneously; and third, the therapeutic effect of antidepressants was abolished in animal models when neuro-genesis was blocked. Increasing efforts were invested to determine whether neurogenesis is a key to the understanding and treatment of psych.atric disorders, although contrasting results are also found and thus the importance of neurogenesis remains a matter of debate. The present ch.pter will discuss the recent findings about the involvement of neurogenesis in major depression, anxiety disorders and sch.zophrenia, and whether neurogenesis would be a potential target for development of the treatment in the future.

In the light of the increasingly serious I/O bottleneck problem, the paper puts forward a method named RAID-M (RAID Matrix) to build high performance mass storage from ch.ap PC components based on the idea of multi-ch.nnel I/O and parallel access. Theoretical analyses prove that different RAID-M configurations vary their performance, space utilization and reliability, meeting various application goals. Experiments show that both the sequential read performance and sequential write performance of a RAID-M prototype mach.ne have broken through the limitation of 32 bit/33 MHz PCI bus.

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers in men. Traditional screening and diagnostic methods include digital rectal examinations （DREs）, biopsies and serum prostate-specific antigen （PSA） tests, with the latter being the more popular. PSA is a biomarker for prostate cancer; however, it is highly sensitive to external factors as well as other prostate diseases. As such. the reliability of of the serum PSA level as a sole screening and diagnostic tool for prostate cancer is controversial. Recently, it has been shown that fasting extremes can affect concentrations of serum ch.mistry analytes, thus raising the question of whether or not fasting has an effect on the highly sensitive PSA biomarker. Patients testing for serum PSA levels are often concomitantly submitting to other tests that require fasting, subjecting certain patients to a fasting PSA level while others not. The objective of this study was to investigate whether this discrepancy in fasting state translates into an effect on serum PSA levels. Serum PSA levels and fasting time records for 157 276 men who underwent testing at Calgary Laboratory Services （CLS; Calgary, Alberta, Canada） between 01 January 2010 and 31 March.2013 were accessed. Linear regression models of mean PSA levels and fasting times revealed a statistically important relationship at certain fasting times. Applying a dynamic mathematical model to explore the clinical effect of fasting suggests minimal impact on serum PSA result interpretation. Thus, patients can be tested for serum PSA levels regardless of their fasting state.

Effect of Training on Two-way Shape Memory Effect and Its Stability in a Ti-Ni-Hf High Temperature Shape Memory Alloy

The Effect of the thermal cycling training under constant strain on the two-way shape memory effect (TWSME) in a Ti36l\li49Hf15 high temperature shape memory alloy (SMA) has been investigated by bending tests. The results indicated that the training procedure is beneficial to get the better TWSME. The two-way shape memory strain increases with increasing the training strain. And it decreases with increasing the training temperature. The TWSME obtained in the present alloy shows poorer stability compared with that obtained in the TiNi alloys.

This paper proposes an energy and carbon footprint modelling using artificial intelligence tech.ique to assess the impact of occupant density for various types of office *** use EnergyPlus to simulate energy con-sumption,and then estimate the related CO₂emissions based on three years(2016–2018)of Actual Meteoro-logical Year(AMY)weather *** occupant densities were used to evaluate the annual energy consumption and CO₂*** this work,a robust deep learning tech.ique of long short-term memory(LSTM)model was established to predict the time-series energy consumption and CO₂emissions.A power exponential curve was suggested to correlate the behaviour of annual energy and CO₂emission for occupant densities range from 10 to 100 m2/person for each.office building *** results of LSTM model show high prediction performance and small variations within the three types of office building data,which.can be applied to the similar building model to predict and optimise energy consumption and CO₂emission.
