Dual ion storage hybrid supercapacitors(HsCs)are considered as a promising device to overcome the limited energy density of existing supercapacitors while preserving high power and long ***,the development of high-capacity anion-storing materials,which can be paired with fast charg-ing capacitive electrodes,lags behind cation-storing ***,we demonstrate the surface faradaic OH-storage mechanism of anion storing perovskite oxide composites and their application in high-performance dual ion *** oxygen vacancy and nanoparticle size of the reduced LaMnO_(3)(r-LaMnO_(3))were controlled,while r-LaMnO_(3) was chemically coupled with ozonated carbon nanotubes(oCNTs)for the improved anion storing capacity and cycle *** taken by in-situ and ex-situ spectroscopic and computational analyses,OH-ions are inserted into the oxygen vacancies coordi-nating with octahedral Mn with the increase in the oxidation state of Mn during the charging process or vice *** OH-storing r-LaMnO_(3)/oCNT composite with Na*storing MXene,the as-fabricated aqueous dual ion HSCs achieved the cycle performance of 73.3%over 10,000 cycles,delivering the max-imum energy and power densities of 47.5 w h kg^(-1) and 8 kw kg^(-1),respectively,far exceeding those of previously reported aqueous anion and dual ion storage *** research establishes a foundation for the unique anion storage mechanism of the defect engineered perovskite oxides and the advancement of dual ion hybrid energy storage devices with high energy and power densities.

With the fast development of Brain Computer Interface(simply called BCI),Electroencephalography (simply called EEG)will be another interesting bio-electrical signal applied in the dexterous control of the robot hand after *** order to realize it finally,pattern recognition of human hand activities based on EEG is a very important and elementary research *** discussing our research methodology,a two-channel measuring system about EEG signal is at first set up in this *** on this system,the first experiment to locate the optimal measuring position is done to verify P3 and P4 sites are the optimal measuring positions,where the EEG electrodes are placed on the scalp in international 10/20 system for our research *** then the second experiment,to extract the features of hand movement and the other usual accompanying mental tasks,such as eye blink,to see the red color and listening music,is also done so as to find an important method of feature extraction, and its result shows the distribution rule of the spectrum result based on FFT analysis is a very good pattern vector for the classification of these basic mental *** last,an artificial neural network classifier is *** sample learning is over,the artificial neural network can output good results of pattern recognition about human hand activities according to input spectral features of these mental tasks.

Despite the safety,low cost,and high theoretical capacity(820 mA h g^(-1))of Zn metal anodes,the practical application of aqueous Zn metal batteries remains a critical challenge due to the Zn dendrite growth,corrosion,and hydrogen evolution ***,we demonstrate the MXene ink hosting Zn metal anodes(MX@Zn)for high-performance and patternable Zn metal full *** as-designed MX@Zn electrode is more facile and reversible than bare Zn and CC@Zn,as verified by better cyclic stability and lower overpotentials of symmetric cells with the plating capacity of 0.05 mA h cm^(-2)at 0.1 m A cm^(-2)and of 1 m A h cm^(-2)at 1 m A cm^(-2).The MX@Zn|MnO_(2)full cells deliver a high specific capacity of 281.9 m A h g^(-1),91.5%of the theoretical capacity,achieving 50%capacity retention from 60 mA g^(-1)to 300 mA g^(-1)and 79.7%of initial capacity after 200 ***,the patterned devices based on the MX@Zn electrode achieve high energy and power densities of 348.57 Wh kg^(-1)and 1556 W kg^(-1),respectively,along with a capacity retention of 64%and Coulombic efficiency of 99%over 500 *** high performance of MX@Zn is attributed to the high electrical conductivity and hydrophilicity of MXene and rapid ion diffusion through the 3D interconnected porous channels.

Is Osteosarcoma between the Two Peak Ages Different?

Background: Unlike two known peak age groups (10 - 14 and older than 65 years of age), there was relatively scant attention in osteosarcoma patients between them, and previous reports had analyzed other than Asians. Therefore we conducted this study with Korean patients and focused on 20 - 40 years of age, then investigated age-specific or race-specific meaningful outcomes. Materials and Methods: 379 patients who were newly diagnosed as osteosarcoma in two Korean major cancer hospitals from September 1986 to July 2015 with more than 2-year follow-up were retrospectively studied. There were 290 patients with 20 - 40 years of age, 60 patients aged 19 or younger, and 29 patients aged 41 or older. Age at diagnosis, gender, location of primary lesion, metastasis at diagnosis, histologic subtypes, histologic response were analyzed as prognostic factors by overall survival (OS) and event-free survival (EFS) rates. Results: Primary pelvic lesion and poor histologic response were significantly unfavorable prognostic factors, but not age-specific. However, proportion of metastasis at diagnosis was significantly highest in 20 - 40 years of age group. For the age at diagnosis, older patients presented poorer 5-year OS and EFS rates, but for 10-year, 20 - 40 years of age group showed unusually better prognosis than younger age’s, with statistic significance in OS rates but not in EFS rates. Conclusion: Osteosarcoma patients with 20 - 40 years of age in Korea presented relatively better prognosis after longer-term 10-year despite their late diagnosis causing more metastasis at diagnosis, which emphasized expedite diagnosis and appropriate treatment to expect much better prognosis than peak age groups.
