The use of electrochemical-meta.lization-based volatile threshold switching selectors in cross-point arrays has been widely explored owing to their high on-off ratios and simple ***,these devices are unsuita.le for cross-point architectures because of the difficulty in controlling the random filament formation that results in large fluctuations in the threshold volta.e during *** this study,we investigated the unidirectional threshold transition characteristics associated with an Ag/GST/HfO_(x)/Pt-based bilayer selector and demonstrated the occurrence of a low leakage current(ta.e(Δ0.11 V).The bilayer structure could control the filament formation in the intermediate sta.e through the insertion of an HfO_(x) tunneling *** sta.king a bilayer selector with NiO_(x)based resistive random-access memory,the leakage and programming currents of the device could be significantly *** the crossbar array configuration,we performed equivalent circuit analysis of a one-selector oneresistor(1S1R) devices and estimated the optimal array size to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed *** maximum accepta.le crossbar array size of the 1S1R device with the Ag/GST/HfO_(x)/Pt/Ti/NiO_(x)/Pt structure was 5.29×10^(14)(N^(2),N=2.3×10^(7)).

The larger ionic radius of pota.sium ions than that of lithium ions significantly limits the accomplishment of rapid diffusion kinetics in graphite electrodes for pota.sium-ion batteries （PIBs）,resulting in comparatively poor rate performance and cycle ***,we report a high-rate performance and cycling sta.ility amorphous carbon electrode achieved through nitrogen and phosphorous *** as-prepared N,P co-doped carbon electrodes have distinct 3D structures with large surface areas,hierarchical pore architectures,and increased interlayer spaces resulting from the direct pyrolysis of supramolecular self-assembled aggregates without *** obta.ned electrode N3P1 exhibits a reversible specific capacity of 258 m Ah·g-1at a current density of 0.1A·g-1and a good long-term cycle performance (96.1%capacity retention after 800 cycles at 0.5 A·g-1).Kinetic investigations show that the N3P1 electrode with the welldeveloped porous structure and large number of surface defects exhibits capacitive-driven behavior at all scan rates,which may be attributed by N and P ***-situ transmission electron microscopy analyses in the fully discharged and charged sta.es demonstrate structural sta.ility and reversibility owing to the expanded interlayer *** suggested synthesis approach is simple and effective for producing heteroatom-doped carbon materials for PIBs and other advanced electrochemical energy storage materials.

(Hf,Zr)O_(2)offers considerable potential for next-generation semiconductor devices owing to its nonvolatile sponta.eous polarization at the ***,scaling this material to sub-5 nm thickness poses several challenges,including the formation of an interfacial layer and high trap *** particular,a low-k SiO_(2)interfacial layer is naturally formed when(Hf,Zr)O_(2)films are directly grown on a Si substrate,leading to high depolarization fields and rapid reduction of the remanent *** address these issues,we conducted a study to significantly improve ferroelectricity and switching endurance of(Hf,Zr)O_(2)films with sub-5 nm thicknesses by inserting a TiO_(2)interfacial *** deposition of a Ti film prior to Hf_(0.5)Zr_(0.5)O_(2)film deposition resulted in a high-k TiO_(2)interfacial layer and prevented the direct conta.t of Hf_(0.5)Zr_(0.5)O_(2)with *** findings show that the high-k TiO_(2)interfacial layer can reduce the SiO_(2)/Si interface trap density and the depolarization field,resulting in a switchable polarization of 60.2μC/cm^(2)for a 5 nm thick Hf_(0.5)Zr_(0.5)O_(2)***,we propose that inserting a high-k TiO_(2)interfacial layer between the Hf_(0.5)Zr_(0.5)O_(2)film and the Si substrate may offer a promising solution to enhancing the ferroelectricity and reliability of(Hf,Zr)O_(2)grown on the Si substrate and can pave the way for next-generation semiconductor devices with improved performance.

Composite solid electrolytes(CSEs)have emerged as promising candidates for safe and high-energy–density solid-sta.e lithium meta. batteries(SSLMBs).However,concurrently achieving exceptional ionic conductivity and interface compatibility between the electrolyte and electrode presents a significant challenge in the development of high-performance CSEs for *** overcome these challenges,we present a method involving the in-situ polymerization of a monomer within a self-supported porous Li_(6.4)La_(3)Zr_(1.4)ta.(0.6)O_(12)(LLZT)to produce the *** synergy of the continuous conductive LLZT network,well-organized polymer,and their interface can enhance the ionic conductivity of the CSE at room ***,the in-situ polymerization process can also con-struct the integration and compatibility of the solid electrolyte–solid electrode *** synthesized CSE exhibited a high ionic conductivity of 1.117 mS cm^(-1),a significant lithium transference number of 0.627,and exhibited electrochemical sta.ility up to 5.06 V ***/Li+at 30℃.Moreover,the Li|CSE|LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2) cell delivered a discharge capacity of 105.1 mAh g^(-1) after 400 cycles at 0.5 C and 30℃,corresponding to a capacity retention of 61%.This methodology could be extended to a variety of ceramic,polymer electrolytes,or battery systems,thereby offering a viable strategy to improve the electrochemical properties of CSEs for high-energy–density SSLMBs.

Achieving historically anticipated improvement in the performance of integrated circuits is challenging,due to the increasing cost and complexity of the required technologies with each new *** overcome this limita.ion,the exploration and development of novel interconnect materials and processes are highly desirable in the microelectronics ***(Mo)is attracting attention as an advanced interconnect material due to its small resistivity size effect and high cohesive energy;however,effective processing methods for such materials have not been widely ***,we investigate the electrochemical behavior of ions in the confined nanopores that affect the electrical properties and microstructures of nanoscale Mo and Mo-Co alloys prepared via template-assisted *** in an electrolyte allow the deposition of extremely pure meta. materials,due to their interac-tion with meta. ions and *** this study,boric acid and tetrabutylammonium bisulfate(TBA)were added to an aceta.e bath to inhibit the hydrogen evolution *** accelerated the reduction of Mo at the surface by inducing surface conduction on the *** Mo nanowires with a 130 nm diameter synthesized through high-aspect-ratio nanopore engineering exhibited a resistivity of(63.0±17.9)μΩ*** also evaluated the resistivities of Mo-Co alloy nanowires at various compo-sitions toward replacing irreducible conventional barrier/liner *** intermeta.lic compound formed at a Mo composition of 28.6 at%,the resistivity of the Mo-Co nanowire was(58.0±10.6)μΩcm,indicat-ing its superior electrical and adhesive properties in comparison with those of conventional barriers such as ta. and ***,density functional theory and non-equilibrium Green's function calcula-tions confirmed that the vertical resista.ce of the via structure constructed from Mo-based materials was 21%lower than that of a conventional Cu/ta.ta. structure.

Mechanically flexible surface structures with embedded conductive electrodes are attractive in conta.t-based devices,such as those used in reversible dry/adhesion and ta.tile *** shapes of the surface structures strongly determine the conta.t behavior and therefore the resulting adhesion and sensing functionalities;however,available features are often restricted by fabrication ***,we additively manufacture elastomeric structure arrays with diverse angles,shapes,and sizes;this is followed by integration of conductive nanowire *** fabricated flexible three-dimensional(3D)surface electrodes are mechanically compliant and electrically conductive,providing multifunctional ability to sense touch and to switch adhesion via a combined effect of shear-and electro *** designed soft,anisotropic flexible structures to mimic the gecko’s reversible adhesion,which is governed by van der Waals forces;we integrated nanowires to further manipulate the localized electric field among the adjacent flexible 3D surface electrodes to provide additional means to digita.ly tune the electrosta.ic attraction at the conta.t *** addition,the composite surface can sense the conta.t force via capacitive *** our flexible 3D surface electrodes,we demonstrate a complete soft gripper that can grasp diverse convex objects,including meta.,ceramic,and plastic products,as well as fresh fruits,and that exhibits 72%greater electroadhesive gripping force when volta.e is applied.

Time series classification(TSC)has attracted various attention in the community of machine learning and data.mining and has many successful applications such as fault detection and product identification in the process of building a smart ***,it is still challenging for the efficiency and accuracy of classification due to complexity,multi-dimension of time *** paper presents a new approach for time series classification based on convolutional neural networks(CNN).The proposed method conta.ns three parts:short-time gap feature extraction,multi-scale local feature learning,and global feature *** the process of short-time gap feature extraction,large kernel filters are employed to extract the features within the short-time gap from the raw time ***,a multi-scale feature extraction technique is applied in the process of multi-scale local feature learning to obta.n deta.led *** global convolution operation with giant stride is to obta.n a robust and global feature *** comprehension features used for classifying are a fusion of short time gap feature representa.ions,local multi-scale feature representa.ions,and global feature *** test the efficiency of the proposed method named multi-scale feature fusion convolutional neural networks(MSFFCNN),we designed,trained MSFFCNN on some public sensors,device,and simulated control time series data.*** comparative studies indicate our proposed MSFFCNN outperforms other alternatives,and we also provided a deta.led analysis of the proposed MSFFCNN.

Although deep learning has achieved a milestone in forecasting the El Niño-Southern Oscillation(ENSO),the current models are insufficient to simulate diverse characteristics of the ENSO,which depends on the calendar ***,a model was generated for specific seasons which indicates these models did not consider physical constraints between different ta.get seasons and forecast lead times,thereby leading to arbitrary fluctuations in the predicted time *** overcome this problem and account for ENSO seasonality,we developed an all-season convolutional neural network(A_CNN)*** correlation skill of the ENSO index was particularly improved for forecasts of the boreal spring,which is the most challenging season to ***,activation map values indicated a clear time evolution with increasing forecast lead *** study findings reveal the comprehensive role of various climate precursors of ENSO events that act differently over time,thus indicating the potential of the A_CNN model as a diagnostic tool.
