Influence of the Acoustic Liner in Large Eddy Simulation of Longitudinal thermoacoustic Instability in a Model Annular Combustor

Although extensive efforts have been made to dampen the thermoacoustic instability,successfully controlling the pressure oscillations in modern gas turbines or aeroengines remains *** influence of the acoustic liner on the longitudinal thermoacoustic mode in a model annular combustor is investigated by Large Eddy Simulation(LES) in this *** result of the self-excited longitudinal thermoacoustic instability without the liner agrees well with the frequency and acoustic analysis of the pressure mode based on experimental *** different bias flow velocities of the liner located downstream of the combustor are then *** results reveal that the existence of the liner influences not only the acoustic field but also the flow *** the bias velocity is large,it leads to intense turbulence-induced fluctuations,and the pressure oscillation is modulated *** shows that the weak coupling between flow and pressure oscillations plays a significant role in the onset of the intermittency of a thermoacoustic *** on the dynamic analysis of the thermoacoustic system with the acoustic liner,this intermittency is caused by the influence of the flow field on the flame-acoustic ***,a low-order modeling method based on Van der Pol(VdP) oscillator with additive stochastic forcing is conducted to reproduce the evolving dynamics of the thermoacoustic *** the numerical cases demonstrated in this work are relatively simpler than those in a practical combustion system,the results are helpful for us to understand the effect of the acoustic liner and show the attractive potential to apply this device to suppress thermoacoustic instability.

An Encoding-Decoding Framework Based on CNN for circ RNA-RBP Binding Sites Prediction

Predicting RNA binding protein(RBP) binding sites on circular RNAs(circ RNAs) is a fundamental step to understand their interaction mechanism. Numerous computational methods are developed to solve this problem, but they cannot fully learn the features. therefore, we propose circ-CNNED, a convolutional neural network(CNN)-based encoding and decoding framework. we first adopt two encoding methods to obtain two original matrices. we preprocess them using CNN before fusion. to capture the feature dependencies, we utilize temporal convolutional network(tCN) and CNN to construct encoding and decoding blocks, respectively. then we introduce global expectation pooling to learn latent information and enhance the robustness of circ-CNNED. we perform circ-CNNED across 37 datasets to evaluate its effect. the comparison and ablation experiments demonstrate that our method is superior. In addition, motif enrichment analysis on four datasets helps us to explore the reason for performance improvement of circ-CNNED.

Accurate Distinction of weak and Strong AC Grids for Emerging Hierarchical-Infeed LCC-UHVDC Systems

Distinction of weak and strong AC grids for emerging hierarchical-infeed LCC-UHVDC systems is important for planning and operation departments. However, accuracy of earlier distinction methods is limited as they were developed by empirical reasoning without rigorous theoretical analysis. Hence in this letter, hierarchical-infeed interactive effective short-circuit ratio (HIESCR) index is first used for strength evaluation of HIDC systems with complex inter-inverter interactions considered. Boundary HIESCR (BHIESCR) is also introduced in the proposed distinction method of weak and strong AC grids. that is, weak (or strong) AC grids are, respectively, identified when HIESCR is less (or greater) than BHIESCR. Second, it is shown BHIESCR remains almost unchanged as 3.0 versus various system parameters and rated operation variables based on rigorous theoretical analysis. this salient feature makes the proposed method more accurate than earlier methods. Finally, the proposed method is validated by simulations based on the PSCAD/EMtDC program.

A Novel Supercapacitor Degradation Prediction Using a 1D Convolutional Neural Network and Improved Informer Model

Safety and reliability are crucial for the next-generation supercapacitors used in energy storage systems,while accurate prediction of the degradation trajectory and remaining useful life(RUL)is essential for analyzing degradation and evaluating performance in energy storage *** study proposes a novel data processing and improved one-dimensional convolutional neural network(1D CNN)-informer framework for robust RUL *** data preprocessing,all data from two structures are adjusted to a unified format,and cross-entropy loss is used to couple the 1D CNN and ***,the minimum-maximum feature scaling method is used for normalization to accelerate the training process in reaching the minimum cost function.A relative position encoding algorithm is introduced to improve the Informer model,enabling it to better learn the sequence relationships between data and effectively reduce prediction *** data in dif-ferent working conditions are used to validate the proposed *** with other existing methods,the maximum root mean square error is reduced by 32.71%,the mean absolute error is reduced by 28.50%,and R^(2) is increased by 4.79%.the strategy considers the complementarity between two single models,which can extract features and enrich local details,as well as enhance the model’s global perception *** experimental results demonstrate that the proposed model achieves high-precision and robust RUL prediction,thereby pro-moting the industrial application of supercapacitors.

Due to the rapid evolution of Advanced Persistent threats(APts)attacks,the emergence of new and rare attack samples,and even those never seen before,make it challenging for traditional rule-based detection methods to extract universal rules for effective *** the progress in techniques such as transfer learning and meta-learning,few-shot network attack detection has ***,challenges in few-shot network attack detection arise from the inability of time sequence flow features to adapt to the fixed length input requirement of deep learning,difficulties in capturing rich information from original flow in the case of insufficient samples,and the challenge of high-level abstract *** address these challenges,a few-shot network attack detection based on NFHP(Network Flow Holographic Picture)-RN(ResNet)is ***,leveraging inherent properties of images such as translation invariance,rotation invariance,scale invariance,and illumination invariance,network attack traffic features and contextual relationships are intuitively represented in *** addition,an improved RN network model is employed for high-level abstract feature extraction,ensuring that the extracted high-level abstract features maintain the detailed characteristics of the original traffic behavior,regardless of changes in background ***,a meta-learning model based on the self-attention mechanism is constructed,achieving the detection of novel APt few-shot network attacks through the empirical generalization of high-level abstract feature representations of known-class network attack *** results demonstrate that the proposed method can learn high-level abstract features of network attacks across different traffic detail *** state-of-the-artmethods,it achieves favorable accuracy,precision,recall,and F1 scores for the identification of unknown-class network attacks through cross-validation onmultiple datasets.

Various electromagnetic signals are excited by the beam in the acceleration and beam-diagnostic elements of a particle *** is important to obtain time-domain waveforms of these signals with high temporal resolution for research,such as the study of beam–cavity interactions and bunch-by-bunch parameter ***,a signal reconstruction algorithm with ultrahigh spatiotemporal resolution and bunch phase compensation based on equivalent sampling is proposed in this *** with traditional equivalent sampling,the use of phase compensation and setting the bunch signal zero-crossing point as the time reference can construct a more accurate reconstructed *** basic principles of the method,simulation,and experimental comparison are also *** on the beam test platform of the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility(SSRF)and the method of experimental verification,the factors that affect the reconstructed signal quality are analyzed and discussed,including the depth of the sampled data,quantization noise of analog-to-digital converter,beam transverse oscillation,and longitudinal *** results of the beam experiments show that under the user operation conditions of the SSRF,a beam excitation signal with an amplitude uncertainty of 2%can be reconstructed.

Hematite-facilitated microbial ammoxidation for enhanced nitrogen removal in constructed wetlands

Constructed wetlands(Cws)are widely applied for decentralized wastewater ***,achieving efficient removal of ammonia(NH+-N)has proven challenging due to insufficient *** this study,natural hematite(Fe,O3)was employed as a Cw substrate(H-Cws)for the first time to drive anaerobic ammonia oxidation coupled with iron(I)reduction(Feammox).Compared to gravel constructed wetlands(G-Cws),ammonia removal was enhanced by 38.14%to 54.03%and nitrous oxide(N_(2)0)emissions were reduced by 34.60%in *** synergistic removal of ammonia and nitrate by H-Cws also resulted in the absence of ammoxidation *** and 15N isotope tracer incubations showed that Feammox accounting for approximately 40%of all ammonia removal in the *** enrichment of iron phosphate(Fe_(3)Fe_(4)(PO_(4))_(6))promoted the accumulation of the Feammox intermediate compound *** nanowires were observed on the surface of H-Cw substrates as well,suggesting that the observed biological ammoxidation was most likely related to extracellular electron transfer(EEt).Microbial and metagenomics analysis revealed that H-Cws elevated the integrity and enhanced the abundance of functional microorganisms and genes associated with nitrogen ***,the efficient ammonia removal in the absence of O2 together with a reduction in N_(2)O emissions as described in this study may provide useful guidance for hematite-mediated anaerobic ammonia removal in Cws.

Matching Rota-Baxter Systems and Gröbner-Shirshov Bases
