A model to predict photosynthetic carbon assimilation rate(A)with high accuracy is important for forecasting crop yield and *** short-term memory(LStM),a neural network suitable for time-series data,enables prediction with high accuracy but requires mesophyll *** addition,for practical use,it is desirable to have a technique that can predict A from easily available *** this study,we propose a BLStM augmented LStM(BALStM)model,which utilizes bi-directional LStM(BLStM)to indirectly reproduce the mesophyll variables required for *** most significant feature of the proposed model is that its hybrid architecture uses only three relatively easy-to-collect external environmental variables—photosynthetic photon flux density(Q_(in)),ambient CO_(2) concentration(C_(a)),and temperature(t_(air))—to generate mesophyll CO_(2) concentration(C_(i))and stomatal conductance to water vapor(g_(sw))as intermediate ***,A is predicted by applying the obtained intermediate outputs to the learning ***,in this study,1)BALStM(Q_(in),C_(a),t_(air))had a significantly higher A prediction accuracy than LStM(Q_(in),C_(a),t_(air))in case of using only Q_(in),C_(a),and t_(air);2)BALStMC_(i),g_(sw),which had C_(i) and g_(sw) as intermediate products,had the highest A prediction accuracy compared with other candidates;and 3)for samples where LStM(Q_(in),C_(a),t_(air))had poor prediction accuracy,BALStMC_(i),g_(sw)(Q_(in),C_(a),t_(air))clearly improved the ***,it was found that incorrect predictions may be formed when certain factors are not reflected in the data(e.g.,timing,cultivar,and growth stage)or when the training data distribution that accounts for these factors differs from the predicted data ***,a robust model should be constructed in the future to improve the prediction accuracy of A by conducting gasexchange measurements(including a wide range of external environmental values)and by increasing the

AIM:to investigate the molecular mechanisms involved in coagulation factor expression and/or function during direct hyperplasia(DH) -mediated liver ***:Direct hyperplasia-mediated liver regeneration was induced in female C57BL/6 mice by administering 1,4-bis[2-(3,5-dichloropyridyloxy) ] benzene(tCPOBOP) ,a representative *** were weighed and sacrificed at various time points [Day 0(D0:prior to injection) ,3 h,D1,D2,D3,and D10] after tCPOBOP administration to obtain liver and blood *** the RNA samples extracted from the liver,a comprehensive analysis was performed on the hepatic gene expression profiling of coagulation-related factors by real-time Rt-PCR(fibrinogen,prothrombin,factors Ⅴ,Ⅶ,Ⅷ,Ⅸ,Ⅹ,Ⅺ,Ⅻ,XⅢβ,plasminogen,antithrombin,protein C,protein S,ADAMtS13,and VWF) .the corresponding plasma levels of coagulation factors(fibrinogen,prothrombin,factors Ⅴ,Ⅶ,Ⅷ,Ⅸ,Ⅹ,Ⅺ,Ⅻ,XⅢ,and VWF) were also analyzed and compared with their mRNA ***:Gavage administration of tCPOBOP(3 mg/kg body weight) resulted in a marked and gradual increase in the weight of the mouse livers relative to the total body weight to 220% by D10 relative to the D0(control) *** the peak of liver regeneration(D1 and D2) ,the gene expression levels for most of the coagulationrelated factors(fibrinogen,prothrombin,factors Ⅴ,Ⅶ,Ⅷ,Ⅸ,Ⅺ,Ⅻ,XⅢβ,plasminogen,antithrombin,protein C,ADAMtS13,VWF) were found to be downregulated in a time-dependent manner,and gradually recovered by D10 to the basal *** mRNA levels of factor Ⅹ and protein S failed to show any decrease during the regenerative *** for the plasma levels,5 clotting factors(prothrombin,factors Ⅷ,Ⅸ,Ⅺ,and Ⅻ) demonstrated a significant decrease(P the regeneration phase compared with *** these 5 factors,factor Ⅸ and factor Ⅺ showed the most dramatic decline in their activities by about 50% at D2 compared to the basal levels,and these reductions in plasma activity for both factors

the advent of tyrosine kinase inhibitor(tKI)therapy markedly improved the outcome of patients with chronic-phase chronic myeloid leukemia(CML).However,the poor prognosis of patients with advanced-phase CML and the lifelong dependency on tKIs are remaining challenges;therefore,an effective therapeutic has been *** BCR–ABL p210 fusion protein’s junction region represents a leukemia-specific neoantigen and is thus an attractive target for antigen-specific t-cell ***–ABL p210 fusion-region-specific CD4+t-helper(th)cells possess antileukemic potential,but their function remains *** this study,we established a BCR–ABL p210 b3a2 fusion-region-specific CD4+th-cell clone(b3a2-specific th clone)and examined its dendritic cell(DC)-mediated antileukemic *** b3a2-specific th clone recognized the b3a2 peptide in the context of HLA-DRB1*09:01 and exhibited a th1 *** of this clone through t-cell antigen receptor stimulation triggered DC maturation,as indicated by upregulated production of CD86 and IL-12p70 by DCs,which depended on CD40 ligation by CD40L expressed on b3a2-specific th ***,in the presence of HLA-A*24:02-restricted Wilms tumor 1(Wt1)235–243 peptide,DCs conditioned by b3a2-specific th cells efficiently stimulated the primary expansion of WtI-specific cytotoxic t lymphocytes(CtLs).the expanded CtLs were cytotoxic toward Wt1235–243-peptide-loaded HLA-A*24:02-positive cell lines and exerted a potent antileukemic effect in ***,the b3a2-specific th-clone-mediated antileukemic CtL responses were strongly inhibited by both tKIs and interferon-α.Our findings indicate a crucial role of b3a2-specific th cells in leukemia antigen-specific CtL-mediated immunity and provide an experimental basis for establishing novel CML immunotherapies.
