We estimate the coupling constants and decay widths of the SU(3)partners of theΩ(2012)hyperon,as discovered by the BELLE Collaboration,using the distribution amplitudes of the octet baryons within the light cone sum rules *** study includes a comparison of the obtained results for the relevant decay widths with those derived within the framework of the flavor SU(3)*** observe a good agreement between the predictions of both ***,our result on the decay width ofΩ→ΞK is compatible with the existing experimental result within the uncertainties of the model *** results can provide helpful insights for determining the nature of the SU(3)partners of theΩ(2012)baryon.

this paper examines the transport analysis, including both heat transfer and mass transfer, in hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic microorganisms towards a curved oscillatory surface. the influence of magnetic fields is also inspected in terms of their physical characteristics. to depict the phenomena of transport, modified versions of both Fick's and Fourier's laws are used. Additionally, the characteristics of both heterogeneous and homogeneous chemical reactions are also incorporated. Utilizing a curvilinear coordinate system, the flow problem is formulated as partial differential equations(PDEs)for momentum, concentration, microorganism field, and energy. An analytical solution to the obtained flow equations is achieved utilizing the homotopy analysis method(HAm).the effects of significant flow parameters on the pressure and microorganism fields, velocity, oscillation velocity, concentration, and temperature distributions are shown via graphs. Furthermore, the variations in skin friction, mass transfer rate, heat transfer rate, and local motile number due to different involved parameters are presented in tables and are analyzed in detail. Graphical results indicate that the curves of velocity and temperature fields are enhanced as the values of the solid volume fraction variables *** is also verified that the concentration rate field decreases as the values of the homogeneous reaction strength parameter and the radius of curvature parameter increase, and it increases with the Schmidt number and the heterogeneous reaction strength *** outcomes show a favorable response of the motile number to advanced values of the Peclet number, the Schmidt number, the microorganism difference parameter, and the bio-convective Lewis number.

Background:Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common cause of cancer-related death in Saudi Arabia. Our study aimed to investigate the patterns of HCC and the effect of tNm staging, Alfa-fetoprotein (AFP), and Child-turcotte Pugh (CtP) on patients' overall survival (OS).methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 43 HCC patients at a single oncology center in Saudi Arabia from 2015 to 2020. All patients had to fulfill one of the following criteria: (a) a liver lesion reported as definitive HCC on dynamic imaging and/or (b) a biopsy-confirmed diagnosis.Results:the mean patient age of all HCC cases was 66.8 with a male-to-female ratio of 3.3:1. All patients were stratified into two groups: viral HCC (n = 22, 51%) and non-viral HCC (n = 21, 49%). Among viral-HCC patients, 55% were due to HBV and 45% due to HCV. Cirrhosis was diagnosed in 79% of cases. Age and sex did not significantly statistically differ in OS among viral and non-viral HCC patients (-value > 0.05). About 65% of patients had tumor size >5 cm during the diagnosis, with a significant statistical difference in OS (-value = 0.027). AFP was >400 ng/ml in 45% of the patients. there was a statistically significant difference in the OS in terms of AFP levels (-value = 0.021). A statistically significant difference was also observed between the CtP score and OS (-value = 0.02). CtP class B had the longest survival. BSC was the most common treatment provided to HCC patients followed by sorafenib therapy. there was a significant statistical difference in OS among viral and non-viral HCC patients (-value = 0.008).Conclusions:the most common predictors for OS were the underlying cause of HCC, AFP, and tumor size. Being having non-viral etiology, a tumor size >5 cm, an AFP > 400 ng/mL, and a CtP score class C were all negatively associated with OS.

Nano cerium oxide films were applied on AA7020-t6 aluminum alloy and the effects of acetic acid concentration on the microstructure and electrochemical properties of the coated samples were investigated by using scanning electron microscopy （SEm）, X-ray diffraction （XRD）, and potentiodynamic polarization methods. It has been found that by increasing the acetic acid/CeCl3·7H2O molar ratio, high uniform and crack-free films with well-developed grains were obtained and grain sizes of the films decreased. Elimination of cracks and decreasing grain size of the nano cerium oxide films caused corrosion resistance to increase.

the spin polarized β-emitting nuclei12B (I π=1+,t 1/2=20.18 ms) were produced by the nuclear reaction11B(d, p)12B and by the selection technique of the incident deuteron energy and the12B recoil angle following the nuclear reaction. the nuclear magnetic moment of the short-lived nuclei12B was measured by β-NmR with the β-NmR and β-NQR setup established for the first time in China. the nuclear magnetic moment of12B was determined to be μ=0.99993±0.00048 nm org=0.99993±0.00048 after the precise correction of the Knight shift.

the dynamic magnetic behavior of the kinetic metamagnetic spin-5/2 Blume-Capel model is examined, within a mean-field approach, under a time-dependent oscillating magnetic field. to describe the kinetics of the system, Glauber- type stochastic dynamics has been utilized. the mean-field dynamic equations of the model are obtained from the master equation. Firstly, these dynamic equations are solved to find the phases in the system. then, the dynamic phase transition temperatures are obtained by investigating the thermal behavior of dynamic sublattice magnetizations. moreover, from this investigation, the nature of the phase transitions （first- or second-order） is characterized. Finally, the dynamic phase diagrams are plotted in five different planes. It is found that the dynamic phase diagrams contain the paramagnetic （P）, antiferromagnetic （AF5/2, AF3/2, AF1/2） phases and five different mixed phases. the phase diagrams also display many dynamic critical points, such as tricritical point, triple point, quadruple point, double critical end point and separating point.

Layered double hydroxide(LDH)conversion coatings loaded with corrosion inhibitors were suggested for the surface treatment of the aluminum alloy 2024-t3,prior to friction spot joining with carbon-fiber reinforced polyphenylene sulfide(AA2024-t3/CF-PPS).Vanadate was used as a model corrosion *** shear testing method revealed an increase of approx.20%of the joint’s adhesion performance when treated with LDH and before exposure to salt *** evaluation of the joints after exposure to salt spray demonstrated a significant difference in the corrosion behavior of the joints when the AA2024-t3 is treated with LDH loaded with nitrate and vanadate *** LDH intercalated with nitrate revealed a clear improvement in the mechanical and corrosion resistance performance of the joints,even after 6 weeks of salt ***,the LDH intercalated with vanadate failed in providing protection against corrosion as well as preserving the mechanical properties of the *** effect of the galvanic corrosion was further investigated by zero resistance ammeter(ZRA)measurements as well as localized scanning vibrating electrode technique(SVEt).

In a deuterium operation on the Large Helical Device, the measurement and control equipment placed in the toms hall must survive under an environment of radiation, to study the effects of gamma-ray irradiation on the equipment, an irradiation experiment is performed at the Cobalt-60 irradiation facility of Nagoya University. transient and permanent effects on a personal computer, media converters, programmable logic controllers, isolation amplifiers, a web camera, optical flow meters, and water sealing gaskets are experimentally surveyed. transient noise appears on the web camera. Offset of the signal increases with an increase of the integrated dose on the programmable logic controller. the DeviceNet module on the programmable logic controller is broken at the integrated dose of 72 Gy, which is the expected range of the integrated dose of the toms hall. the other equipment can survive under the gamma-ray field in the toms hall.

Line of sight waypoint guidance for a container ship based on frequency domain identification of Nomoto model of vessel

CIFER software is used to identify steering and roll dynamics of a container ship. In this software, advanced features such as the Chirp-Z transform(CZt) and composite window optimization are applied to the time history of steering and roll dynamics to extract high quality frequency responses. From the extracted frequency responses, two linear transfer functions of Nomoto model are fitted for yaw and roll dynamics of the vessel. Based on the identified Nomoto model, a PID heading controller and a Kalman filter observer are constructed. the simulation results of heading controller for line of sight(LOS) waypoint guidance show excellent tracking of pilot inputs in the presence of wave induced motions and forces.
