the electrodeposition of A1 and A1-Cu binary alloys on to gold substrates from a room temperature ionic liquid electrolyte containing A1C13-EtaNHC1 was studied. the electrochemical behavior of the electrolyte and the mechanism of deposition were investigated through cyclic voltammetry （CV）, and the properties of deposits obtained were assessed by scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy （SEM-EDS） and X-ray diffraction （XRD）. A1 of 70μm in thickness and an A1-Cu alloy of 30μm in thickness with 8at% copper were deposited from the electrolyte. SEM images of the deposits indicate that the A1 deposit was smooth and uniform, whereas the Al-Cu deposit was nodular. the average crystalline size, as determined by XRD patterns, was found to be （30±5） and （29±5） nm, respectively, for A1 and A1-Cu alloys. Potentiodynamic polarization （tafel plots） and electrochemical impedance spectroscopic （EIS） measurements showed that Al-Cu alloys are more corrosion resistant than Al.

Signal to noise ratio in ultrasound medical images captured through the digital camera is poorer,resulting in an inaccurate *** a result,it needs an efﬁcient despeckling method for ultrasound images in clinical practice and *** article proposes a novel adaptive fuzzyﬁlter based on the direc-tionality and translation invariant property of the Non-Sub sampled Contour-let transform(NSCt).Since speckle-noise causes fuzziness in ultrasound images,fuzzy logic may be a straightforward technique to derive the output from the noisy ***ﬁltering method comprises detection andﬁltering ***,image regions classify at the detection stage by applying fuzzy inference to the directional difference obtained from the NSCt noisy ***,the system adaptively selects the better-suitedﬁlter for the speciﬁc image region,resulting in signiﬁcant speckle noise suppression and retention of detailed *** suggested approach uses a weighted averageﬁlter to distinguish between noise and edges at theﬁltering *** addition,we apply a structural similarity mea-sure as a tuning parameter depending on the kind of noise in the ultrasound *** proposed methodology shows that the proposed fuzzy adaptiveﬁlter effectively suppresses speckle noise while preserving edges and image detailed structures compared to existing approaches.

though the preferred welding process to weld aluminium alloy is frequently constant current gas tungsten arc welding (CCgtAW),it resulted in grain coarsening at the fusion zone and heat affected zone(HAZ).Hence,pulsed current gas tungsten arc welding(PCgtAW) was performed,to yield finer fusion zone grains,which leads to higher strength of AA6061 (Al-Mg-Si) aluminium alloy *** order to determine the most influential control factors which will yield minimum fusion zone grain size and maximum tensile strength of the joints,the traditional Hooke and Jeeves pattern search method was *** experiments were carried out based on central composite design with 31 runs and an algorithm was developed to optimize the fusion zone grain size and the tensile strength of pulsed current gas tungsten arc welded AA6061 aluminium alloy *** results indicate that the peak current (Ip) and base current (IB) are the most significant parameters,to decide the fusion zone grain size and the tensile strength of the AA6061 aluminum alloy joints.

Numerous methods are analysed in detail to improve task schedulingand data security performance in the cloud environment. the methodsinvolve scheduling according to the factors like makespan, waiting time,cost, deadline, and popularity. However, the methods are inappropriate forachieving higher scheduling performance. Regarding data security, existingmethods use various encryption schemes but introduce significant serviceinterruption. this article sketches a practical Real-time Application CentrictRS (throughput-Resource utilization–Success) Scheduling with Data Security(RAtRSDS) model by considering all these issues in task scheduling anddata security. the method identifies the required resource and their claim timeby receiving the service requests. Further, for the list of resources as services,the method computes throughput support (thrs) according to the number ofstatements executed and the complete statements of the service. Similarly, themethod computes Resource utilization support (Ruts) according to the idletime on any duty cycle and total servicing time. Also, the method computesthe value of Success support (Sus) according to the number of completions forthe number of allocations. the method estimates the tRS score (throughputResource utilization Success) for different resources using all these supportmeasures. According to the value of the tRS score, the services are rankedand scheduled. On the other side, based on the requirement of service requests,the method computes Requirement Support (RS). the selection of service isperformed and allocated. Similarly, choosing the route according to the RouteSupport Measure (RSM) enforced route security. Finally, data security hasgets implemented with a service-based encryption technique. the RAtRSDSscheme has claimed higher performance in data security and scheduling.

Passive image forgery detection methods that identify forgeries without prior knowledge have become a key research *** copy-move forgery,the assailant intends to hide a portion of an image by pasting other portions of the same *** detection of such manipulations in images has great demand in legal evidence,forensic investigation,and many other *** paper aims to present copy-move forgery detection algorithms with the help of advanced feature descriptors,such as local ternary pattern,local phase quantization,local gabor binary pattern histogram sequence,Weber local descriptor,and local monotonic pattern,and classifiers such as optimized support vector machine and optimized *** proposed algorithms can classify an image efficiently as either copy-move forged or authenticated,even if the test image is subjected to attacks such as JPEg compression,scaling,rotation,and brightness ***,CASIA,and MICC datasets and a combination of CoMoFoD and CASIA datasets images are used to quantify the performance of the proposed *** proposed algorithms are more efficient than state-of-the-art algorithms even though the suspected image is post-processed.

the marine atmospheric boundary layer （MABL） plays a vital role in the transport of momentum and heat from the surface of the ocean into the atmosphere. A detailed study on the MABL characteristics was carried out using high-resolution surface-wind data as measured by the QuikSCAt （Quick scatterometer） satellite. Spatial variations in the surface wind, frictional velocity, roughness parameter and drag coefficient for the different seasons were studied. the surface wind was strong during the southwest monsoon season due to the modulation induced by the Low Level Jetstream. the drag coefficient was larger during this season, due to the strong winds and was lower during the winter months. the spatial variations in the frictional velocity over the seas was small during the post-monsoon season （-0.2 m s^-1）. the maximum spatial variation in the frictional velocity was found over the south Arabian Sea （0.3 to 0.5 m s^-1） during the southwest monsoon period, followed by the pre-monsoon over the Bay of Bengal （0.1 to 0.25 m s^-1）. the mean wind-stress curl during the winter was positive over the equatorial region, with a maximum value of 1.5×10^-7 N m^-3, but on either side of the equatorial belt, a negative wind-stress curl dominated. the area average of the frictional velocity and drag coefficient over the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal were also studied. the values of frictional velocity shows a variability that is similar to the intraseasonal oscillation （ISO） and this was confirmed via wavelet analysis. In the case of the drag coefficient, the prominent oscillations were ISO and quasi-biweekly mode （QBM）. the interrelationship between the drag coefficient and the frictional velocity with wind speed in both the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal was also studied.

Continuous segregation of a binary mixture of heterogeneous （different density） solids is carried out in a gas-solid fluidized bed. We investigate how gas velocity, solids feed rate, flotsam feed composition, bottom discharge pipe diameter, and minimum fluidization velocity ratio of the flotsam to jetsam parti- cles influence the solids holdup, separation factor, and product quality （flotsam purity at the top outlet）. the results are interpreted in terms of solids holdup information. the results indicate that the separation factor decreases when the gas velocity, bottom discharge pipe diameter, flotsam feed composition, or the minimum fluidization velocity ratio increase, while the separation factor increases as the solids feed rate increases. the product quality decreases when the gas velocity, solids feed rate, or minimum fluidization velocity ratio increase, while the product quality increases as the bottom discharge pipe diameter or flot- sam feed composition increase. Correlations for predicting the separation factor and product quality are proposed using a logistic model for individual flotsam feed compositions, which satisfactorily compares with the present experimental data.

Continuous segregation of binary heterogeneous solids （different density mixtures） is carried out in a gas-solid fluidized bed to study the effects of gas velocity, solids feed rate, feed composition and density difference of solids on the separation factor （recovery of flotsam at top outlet） and the quality of the product （purity of flotsam at top outlet） in a continuous fast-fluidized bed. the holdup of the bed material is obtained in each experimental run. It is observed that the separation factor decreases with increase in solids feed rate or density difference of solids, and increases with gas velocity or proportion of flotsam in the feed. the quality of the product decreases with increase in gas velocity or solids flow rate, and increases with feed composition or density difference of solids. the experimental results show that the separation factor and the quality of the product are more sensitive to gas velocity than to other operating parameters, Empirical correlations for predicting the separation factor and quality of the product are proposed based on the Richards model for individual flotsam mass fraction in the feed, and the predictions agree satisfactorily with the present exlgerimental data,

In this paper, the feasibility of embedding the direct torque control （DtC） of an induction machine into field programmable gate arrays （FPgA） is investigated. DtC of an induction machine is simulated in a MAtLAB/Simulink environment using a Xilinx system generator. the resulting design has a flexible and modular structure where the designer can customize the hardware blocks by changing the number of inputs, outputs, and algorithm when it is compared to the designs implemented using classical microcontrollers and digital signal processors. With its flexibility, other control algorithms can easily be programmed and embedded into the FPgA. the above system has been implemented on Xilinx Spartan 3A DSP FPgA controller. Simulation and experimentation have been performed to prove the validity of the proposed methodology.
