exploring t.e.s Diversity and ecological Value of Mountain Forests in t.e.Blue Nile Region of Sudan

We carried out this research at Abu-Gaddaf Natural Forest Reserve (ANFR) which is located east of Blue Nile River, in Blue Nile State, Sudan. It aims at.e.ploring t.e. composition assessing t.e.r diversity indices, and ecological importance values. For survey of types and estimation of density of t.e. species in t.e.forest, we randomly distributed 97 circular sample plots (0.1 hectare (ha)). In each sample plot we identified all t.e.s to t.e.species level, recorded t.e.r frequencies and computed species diversity and importance value indices (IVI). A total of 13 t.e. species, which belong to 12 genera and nine families, were identified in t.e.t.e. layer of t.e.forest. Mean t.e. density in ANFR was 116 t.e.s/ha, composed mainly of Boswellia papyrifera (Del.) Hochst. (48), followed by Combretum hartmannianu (19) and Lannea fruticosa (18). Fabaceae was t.e.most common family followed by Combretaceae and Malvaceae. B. papyrifera Delile Hochst was t.e.most abundant while Acacia seyal was t.e.least abundant species. Species richness (R = 1.71), evenness (e = 0.69), dominance (0.24) indices and Simpson’s Index of Diversity (D' = 0.76) suggest a moderate diversity, moderate numbers of individuals in each species and a moderate community stability. t.e.research provides empirical results on diversity and ecological importance value of species, signifies t.e.urging need to safeguard threatened species and to prioritize t.e. for conservation, as well as t.e.need to promote management of abundant species to provide multiple forest.e.osystem services.

Background Forest.e.osystems undergo significant transformations due to harvesting and climate fluctuations, emphasizing t.e.critical role of seeding in natural regeneration and long-term structural preservation. Climate change furt.e. amplifies t.e.e dynamics, affecting phenology across species and regions. In t.e.ra del Fuego(Argentina), Nothofagus pumilio(lenga) forests represent t.e.most important timber resource, and it is managed through different silvicultural strategies. this species demonstrates notable post-disturbance regeneration, yet seed fall exhibits signifi-cant variability, leading to variations in seed quality(e.g., viability). this study aims to assess fluctuations in N. pumilio seed quality, determine how it varies concerning forest management strategies, annual productivity, and t.e.co-occurrence of climatic phenomena including el Ni?o-Sout.e.n Oscillation(eNSO) and t.e.Sout.e.n Annular Mode(SAM).Results Viable seeds represented 18.4% of t.e.total, notably higher in unharvested than in managed areas. Con-versely, empty seeds were more prevalent in harvested areas(> 75%). Seed quality exhibited significant differences across silvicultural t.e.t.e.ts, except for insect-predated seeds, which had similar proportions across all areas, though dispersed retention showed higher predation. When considering years with varying production levels, high-production years favoured full and viable seeds, particularly in unharvested forests and aggregated retention, while low-production years saw reduced viability across all t.e.t.e.ts. Quadratic models revealed that viability increased with seed production, where unharvested forests achieved t.e.highest values. 借助压力试验探究了不同压强下有无鳞鱼的损伤情况，得出压力损伤阈值后结合离散元素法(DeM)计算灯泡贯流式水轮机内鱼体受不同损伤的概率．研究结果表明：当正压低于0.4 MPa时试验鱼均无损伤；当压力降低到-20 kPa时试验鱼出现损伤，选取-20 kPa作为压力损伤的数值模拟阈值．相同水头下，导叶开度越大，鱼体受伤概率越大；相同导叶开度下，随着水头增加，鱼体在转轮区域受压力、压力梯度和剪切损伤的概率逐渐增加，受撞击的概率逐渐减小，并且前三者增加的幅度要比撞击损伤概率减小的幅度更大．叶片撞击与负压是导致鱼体损伤的主要因素，最高损伤概率分别为18.92%和18.01%；压力梯度及剪切力是次要因素，最高概率仅为5.43%和0.035 2%.

胰岛素对昆虫病原线虫致病力及生殖力的影响

昆虫病原线虫是一种极具潜力的生防因子，因其高效的杀虫特性而受到国际生防界的广泛关注，胰岛素作为一种蛋白质多肽，已被证实对昆虫、线虫等的生长发育、寿命都有重要调控作用。为了明确胰岛素对昆虫病原线虫的影响，本试验通过对经卡森斯氏线虫Steinernema kraussei 0657L和短尾异小杆线虫Heterorhabditis brevicaudis 0641tY侵染的大蜡螟Galleria mellonella注射不同浓度胰岛素，观测昆虫病原线虫的生活史及其对大蜡螟的致病力，明确胰岛素对昆虫病原线虫致病力、生殖力的影响。结果表明：胰岛素干预时间和干预浓度均可对卡森斯氏线虫0657L在寄主昆虫体内的生长发育产生影响，侵染当天（t）干预和高浓度（1:500）干预，会明显缩短其发育历期；侵染当天无论是高浓度还是低浓度的胰岛素干预，均会明显缩短短尾异小杆线虫0641tY的发育历期，且相比较卡森斯氏线虫0657L，胰岛素促进短尾异小杆线虫0641tY发育历期的效果更明显。在卡森斯氏线虫0657L侵染大蜡螟10 d后，注射低浓度的胰岛素，可显著提高其生殖力；在短尾异小杆线虫0641tY侵染大蜡螟1 d后，注射低浓度的胰岛素，可显著提高其生殖力。胰岛素对卡森斯氏线虫0657L致病力有影响，在24 h内高浓度胰岛素可显著缩短寄主昆虫的死亡时间，但是侵染36 h后，各处理间差异不显著；而对短尾异小杆线虫0641tY致病力无影响。综上所述，胰岛素对卡森斯氏线虫0657L和短尾异小杆线虫0641tY的发育和生殖力均有影响，且对卡森斯氏线虫致病力有影响。
