利用意大利Legnaro实验室串列静电加速器提供的65 MeV^(13)c束流与122Sn靶的熔合蒸发反应布居了^(131)Ba的高自旋态,并搭建了新的能级纲图.新的能级纲图由15条转动带组成,包括三对手征双重带,其中两对正宇称手征带为赝自旋-手征四重带.正负宇称手征带通过一系列增强的E1跃迁连接,表明它们之间存在八极关联.在低自旋区域搭建了一条新的转动带,通过一系列γ跃迁向νh1_(1/2)晕带退激.这种能级结构与摇摆带相似,但基于现有的实验证据还难以将它确认为摇摆带,不能排除其他集体激发机制,如γ振动的影响.

We look at the link between climate change and vector-borne diseases in low- and middle-income countries in Africa. the large endemicity and escalating threat of diseases such as malaria and arboviral diseases, intensified by climate change, disproportionately affects vulnerable communities globally. We highlight the urgency of prioritizing research and development, advocating for robust scientific inquiry to promote adaptation strategies, and the vital role that the next generation of African research leaders will play in addressing these challenges. Despite significant challenges such as funding shortages within countries, various pan-African-oriented funding bodies such as the African Academy of Sciences, the Africa Research Excellence Fund, the Wellcome trust, the U.S. National Institutes of Health, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as well as initiatives such as the African Research Initiative for Scientific Excellence and the Pan-African Mosquito control Association, have empowered (or are empowering) these researchers by supporting capacity building activities, including continental and global networking, skill development, mentoring, and African-led research. this article underscores the urgency of increased national investment in research, proposing the establishment of research government agencies to drive evidence-based interventions. collaboration between governments and scientific communities, sustained by pan-African funding bodies, is crucial. through these efforts, African nations are likely to enhance the resilience and adaptive capacity of their systems and communities by navigating these challenges effectively, fostering scientific excellence and implementing transformative solutions against climate-sensitive vector-borne diseases.

Global climate change is a common challenge facing mankind,which has evolved from a scientific issue into a global economic and political issue of universal concern to the international community(IPcc,2007).Global surface temperature was 1.1°c higher in 2011–2020 than that in 1850–1900,and has increased faster since 1970 than in any other 50-year period over at least the last 2000 years(IPcc,2023).

In this study,we identiﬁed the moisture sources for the precipitation associated with tropical cyclones(tcs)during the rapid intensiﬁcation(RI)process from 1980 to 2018 by applying a Lagrangian moisture source diagnostic *** detected sixteen regions on a global scale for RI events distributed as follows:four in the North Atlantic(NAtL),two in the central and East Paciﬁc Ocean(NEPAc),the North Indian Ocean(NIO)and South Indian Ocean(SIO),and three in the South Paciﬁc Ocean(SPO)and the Western North Paciﬁc Ocean(WNP).the moisture uptake(MU)mostly was from the regions where tcs underwent *** Western NAtL,tropical NAtL,caribbean Sea,the Gulf of Mexico and the central America and Mexico landmass supported~85.4%of the precipitating moisture in the NAtL,while the latter source and the eastern North Paciﬁc Ocean provided the higher amount of moisture in NEPAc(~84.3%).the Arabian Sea,the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Peninsula were the major moisture sources in NIO,contributing approximately 81.3%.the eastern and western parts of the Indian Ocean supplied most of the atmospheric humidity in SIO(~83.8%).the combined contributions(~87.9%)from the western and central SPO and the coral Sea were notably higher in ***,tcs in the WNP basin mostly received moisture from the western North Paciﬁc Ocean,the Philippine Sea and the china Sea,accounting for 80.1%.the remaining moisture support in each basin came from the summed contributions of the remote ***,RI tcs gained more moisture up to 2500 km from the cyclone centre than those slow intensiﬁcation(SI)and the total MU was approximately three times higher during RI than ***,the patterns of the MU differences respond to the typical pathways of moisture transport in each basin.

this paper is concerned with the modeling of randomness in multiscale analysis of heterogeneous materials. More specifically, a framework dedicated to the stochastic modeling of random properties is first introduced. A probabilistic model for matrix-valued second-order random fields with symmetry propertries, recently proposed in the literature, is further reviewed. Algorithms adapted to the Monte carlo simulation of the proposed representation are also provided. the derivations and calibration procedure are finally exemplified through the modeling of the apparent properties associated with an elastic porous microstructure containing stochastic interphases.

Liver transplantation(Lt)for irresectable colorectal cancer liver metastases(i-cRLM)has been considered up to now an absolute contraindication due to unfavorable outcomes,scarcity of grafts and ethical ***,promising results of the Norwegian SEcA trial raise the question of the utility of Lt for i-cRLM with a 5-year survival rate of 60%(1).However,some concerns should be considered as to oncological selection criteria(when to perform the transplantation?)and the source of liver grafts:deceased donor at cost of recipient listed for standard indication or living donor in a population with a higher risk of recurrence.

current structural analysis software programs offer few if any applicable device-specifi c hysteresis rules or nonlinear elements to simulate the precise mechanical behavior of a multiple friction pendulum system(MFPS) with numerous sliding *** on the concept of subsystems,an equivalent series system that adopts existing nonlinear elements with parameters systematically calculated and mathematically proven through rigorous derivations is *** aim is to simulate the characteristics of sliding motions for an MFPS isolation system with numerous concave sliding interfaces without prior knowledge of detailed information on the mobilized forces at various sliding *** MFPS with numerous concave sliding interfaces and one articulated or rigid slider located between these interfaces is divided into two subsystems: the fi rst represents the concave sliding interfaces above the slider,and the second represents those below the *** equivalent series system for the entire system is then obtained by connecting those for each subsystem in *** equivalent series system is validated by comparing numerical results for an MFPS with four sliding interfaces obtained from the proposed method with those from a previous study by Fenz and ***,these numerical results demonstrate that an MFPS isolator with numerous concave sliding interfaces,which may have any number of sliding interfaces,is a good isolation device to protect structures from earthquake damage through appropriate designs with controllable mechanisms.

U-Pb spot ages on detrital zircons from turbidite quartzarenites,quartz-feldspathic and volcaniclastic sandstones of the tufiti di tusa(ttF),Numidian Flysch(NF),Bifurto(BF),Gorgoglione(GF)and Serra Palazzo(SPF)formations,exposed in southern Italy,were detected to define their provenance signatures aiming to contribute to reconstructing the complex geodynamic evolution of the southern Apennine *** deposition ages of these sandstones range from Rupelian(ttF),Burdigalian p.p.-Early Langhian(NF and BF)and Langhian-Serravallian-Early tortonian(GF and SPF).the detrital zircon ages in each deposit show different *** ttF,the zircon age clusters are:610±6 Ma;390±4 Ma;287±3 Ma;157±2 Ma;78±1 Ma and 67±1 Ma;33±1 *** NF and BF formations,the prevalent zircon ages are clustered at 661±10 Ma,607±8 Ma and 547±8 *** GF sandstones,the ages of detrital zircons are clustered around 672±28 Ma,458±9 Ma,297±8 Ma and 24±1 *** sandstones of SPF contain zircons showing age clusters at649±10 Ma,486±7 Ma and 315±5 *** and lithic fragments from ttF display a dominant provenance from Oligocene calc-alkaline effusive products located on western domains of the Mesomediterranean Microplate,and minor detritus from granitoids and metamorphic rocks of Variscan *** of NF and BF indicate a provenance of detritus from the African craton without evidence of Variscan or Alpine *** from GF and SPF show a provenance from both Variscan crystalline basement rocks forming the Alpine chain(calabria-Peloritani terranes)and Variscan magmatic and metamorphic rocks unaffected by Alpine tectonics,similar to Sardinia-corsica(pro-parte)*** addition,the Oligocene magmatic component dated at 24 Ma in GF sandstones is evidence for the maximum age of sedimentation for these *** light of the recent and preliminary geochronological data acquired,a revised paleogeographic restoration could be inferred for the location of sedimentary basins during the Apennines t

the cumulative effects of periodic redox cycling on the mobility of As,Fe,and S from alluvial sediment to groundwater were investigated in bioreactor *** particular sediments from the alluvial floodplain of the Mekong Delta River were investigated: Matrix A (14 m deep) had a higher pyrite concentration than matrix B (7 m deep) *** present in matrix B but absent in matrix *** the reactors,the sediment suspensions were supplemented with As(III) and SO4^2-,and were subjected to three full-redox cycles entailing phases of nitrogen/cO2,compressed air sparging,and cellobiose *** differences in As concentration and speciation were observed upon redox *** support the fact that initial sediment composition is the main factor controlling arsenic release and its speciation during the redox ***,a high pyrite content associated with a low SO4^2- content resulted in an increase in dissolved As concentrations,mainly in the form of As(III),after anoxic half-cycles;whereas a decrease in As concentrations mainly in the form of As(V),was instead observed after oxic *** addition,oxic conditions were found to be responsible for pyrite and arsenian pyrite oxidation,increasing the As pool available for *** same processes seem to occur in sediment with the presence of gypsum,but,in this case,dissolved As were sequestered by biotic or abiotic redox reactions occurring in the FeeS system,and by specific physico-chemical condition (***).the contrasting results obtained for two sediments sampled from the same core show that many complexes and entangled factors are at work,and further refinement is needed to explain the spatial and temporal variability of As release to groundwater of the Mekong River Delta (Vietnam).
