A review on the current research on microwave processing techniques applied to graphene-based supercapacitor electrodes:An emerging approach beyond conventional heating

the various methods for microwave processing of materials exhibit numerous advantages,such as short processing times,high yield,expanded reaction conditions,high reproducibility,and high purity of ***-assisted synthesis strategies have been widely adopted for the preparation of highperformance graphene-based materials for supercapacitor *** oxides,mixed metal oxides,metal hydroxides,layered double hydroxides,carbon nanotubes and conducting polymers are some of the main materials which have been added to graphene derivatives for advanced composite/hybrid *** review article first provides a brief introduction and an overview of microwave heating and its advantages for processing graphene-based electrode *** that,a systematic survey of recently published research on microwave irradiation-assisted processing is presented,focusing on:(i)transformation of graphite/graphite oxide into graphene/graphene oxide by exfoliation and reduction;(ii)formation of graphene derivatives in various liquid and gaseous media;(iii)modification of graphene derivatives with various metal oxides/hydroxides,carbon nanotubes,and conducting polymers for use in *** challenges and future perspectives for microwave-assisted processing of graphene-based materials for cutting-edge supercapacitor electrode applications are also summarized in the conclusion.

Vegetation and ecosystem carbon recovery following shifting cultivation in MizoramManipur-Kachin rainforest eco-region,Southern Asia

Background:Shifting cultivation(locally known as“jhum”)is a major driver of deforestation and loss of ecosystem services in *** developing any effective conservation of biodiversity and carbon service program,an indepth understanding to the recovery of vegetation and carbon after abandonment of jhum is *** estimated species richness,abundance and composition of trees,shrubs and herbs,carbon distribution in aboveground and belowground components along a chronosequence of jhum fallow in northeast India,and elucidated the factors affecting the recovery processes of jhum ***:Species composition and other plant community attributes,carbon storage in different pools were studied in 5 jhum fallows(th *** data were subjected to linear mixed effect modeling using R-package“nlme”for identifying the important factors contributing to the recovery of vegetation and ***:Species composition varied significantly(Ptween jhum fallows and old-growth *** density varied from 28 stems ha−1 in 5 years old jhum fallow to 163 stems ha−1 in old-growth *** biomass carbon in all components and soil organic carbon were significantly(P=0.01)lower in jhum fallows than in the old-growth forest except living non-woody biomass *** recovery of aboveground biomass carbon was faster during early successive years than the mid-successive jhum *** ecosystem carbon and soil organic carbon stock in the oldest jhum fallow was 33%and 62%of those in the old-growth forest,*** fallow age was found to be the most important explanatory factor in the recovery process of vegetation and carbon stock in re-growing ***:the shifting cultivation fallows gradually recovered both vegetation and carbon and are potential repository sites for biodiversity conservation,which may take much longer time to reach up to old-growth forest in northeast India.

New Exact Solutions of Fractional Zakharov–Kuznetsov and Modified Zakharov–Kuznetsov Equations Using Fractional Sub-Equation Method

In the present paper, we construct the analytical exact solutions of some nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics; namely the space-time fractional Zakharov–Kuznetsov(ZK) and modified Zakharov–Kuznetsov(m ZK) equations by using fractional sub-equation method. As a result, new types of exact analytical solutions are obtained. the obtained results are shown graphically. Here the fractional derivative is described in the Jumarie's modified Riemann–Liouville sense.

Software testing has been attracting a lot of attention for effective software *** model driven approach,Unified Modelling Language(UML)is a conceptual modelling approach for obligations and other features of the system in a model-driven *** tools interpret these models into other software artifacts such as code,test data and *** generation of test cases permits the appropriate test data to be determined that have the aptitude to ascertain the *** paper focuses on optimizing the test data obtained from UML activity and state chart diagrams by using Basic Genetic Algorithm(BGA).For generating the test cases,both diagrams were converted into their corresponding intermediate graphical forms namely,Activity Diagram Graph(ADG)and State Chart Diagram Graph(SCDG).then both graphs will be combined to form a single graph called,Activity State Chart Diagram Graph(ASCDG).Both graphs were then joined to create a single graph known as the Activity State Chart Diagram Graph(ASCDG).Next,the ASCDG will be optimized using BGA to generate the test data.A case study involving a withdrawal from the automated teller machine(AtM)of a bank was employed to demonstrate the *** approach successfully identified defects in various AtM functions such as messaging and operation.

Structure, composition and diversity of tree species in tropical moist deciduous forests of Eastern India: a case study of Nayagarh Forest Division, Odisha

Quantitative assessment of tree species diversity from sample plots in seven forest ranges of Nayagarh Forest Division in Odisha state in the Eastern Ghats of India was made during the period April, 2011 to November, 2013. A total of 120 transects(1000 m × 5 m) were laid in Nayagarh, Odogaon, Pancharida, Khandapada, Dasapalla,Mahipur, and Gania forest ranges and tree stems of at least 30 cm GBH were measured. the regeneration potential of trees was assessed from 5 m × 5 m sample plots located within the main transect. A total of 177 tree species belonging to 120 genera and 44 families were recorded from the study area. Shorea robusta, Buchanania lanzan, Lannea coromandelica, terminalia alata and Cleistanthus collinus were the predominant tree species. the stand density varied in the range of 355.33–740.53 stems ha)-1) while basal area ranged from 7.77 to 31.62 m2ha-1. the tree density and species richness decreased with increasing girth class. the highest number of species and maximum density was recorded in the girth class of 30–60 cm. the Shannon–Weiner and Simpson Indices with respect to trees with C30 cm GBH varied in the range of 2.07–3.79 cm and 0.03–0.37 cm respectively and the values of diversity indices are within the reported range for tropical forests of Indian sub-continent. the families, Dipterocarpaceae,Anacardiaceae, Combretaceae and Euphorbiaceae contributed to maximum species richness, stand density, and basal area. Regeneration of many tree species was observed to be poor. the present study provides baseline data for further ecological studies, forest management, and formulation of site-specific strategies for conservation of biological diversity in moist deciduous forests of Eastern India.

Automatic Classification of Cardiac Arrhythmias Based on Hybrid Features and Decision tree Algorithm

Accurate classification of cardiac arrhythmias is a crucial task because of the non-stationary nature of electrocardiogram(ECG)*** a life-threatening situation,an automated system is necessary for early detection of beat abnormalities in order to reduce the mortality *** this paper,we propose an automatic classification system of ECG beats based on the multi-domain features derived from the ECG *** experimental study was evaluated on ECG signals obtained from the MIt-BIH Arrhythmia *** feature set comprises eight empirical mode decomposition(EMD)based features,three features from variational mode decomposition(VMD)and four features from RR *** total,15 features are ranked according to a ranker search approach and then used as input to the support vector machine(SVM)and C4.5 decision tree classifiers for classifying six types of arrhythmia *** proposed method achieved best result in C4.5 decision tree classifier with an accuracy of 98.89%compared to cubic-SVM classifier which achieved an accuracy of 95.35%*** accuracy measures,all other parameters such as sensitivity(Se),specificity(Sp)and precision rates of 95.68%,99.28%and 95.8%was achieved better in C4.5 *** the computational time of 0.65 s with an error rate of 0.11 was achieved which is very less compared to *** multi-domain based features with decision tree classifier obtained the best results in classifying cardiac arrhythmias hence the system could be used efficiently in clinical practices.

An Optimal Hybrid Learning Approach for Attack Detection in Linear Networked Control Systems

A novel learning-based attack detection and estimation scheme is proposed for linear networked control systems(NCS),wherein the attacks on the communication network in the feedback loop are expected to increase network induced delays and packet losses,thus changing the physical system ***,the network traffic flow is modeled as a linear system with uncertain state matrix and an optimal Q-learning based control scheme over finite-horizon is utilized to stabilize the ***,an adaptive observer is proposed to generate the detection residual,which is subsequently used to determine the onset of an attack when it exceeds a predefined threshold,followed by an estimation scheme for the signal injected by the attacker.A stochastic linear system after incorporating network-induced random delays and packet losses is considered as the uncertain physical system *** attack detection scheme at the physical system uses the magnitude of the state vector to detect attacks both on the sensor and the *** maximum tolerable delay that the physical system can tolerate due to networked induced delays and packet losses is also *** have been performed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed schemes.

Optimization of flotation variables for the recovery of hematite particles from BHQ ore

the technology for beneficiation of banded iron ores containing low iron value is a challenging task due to increasing demand of quality iron ore in India. A flotation process has been developed to treat one such ore, namely banded hematite quartzite （BHQ） containing 41.8wt% Fe and 41.5wt% SiO2,by using oleic acid, methyl isobutyl carbinol （MIBC）, and sodium silicate as the collector, frother, and dispersant, respectively. the relative effects of these variables have been evaluated in half-normal plots and Pareto charts using central composite rotatable design. A quadratic response model has been developed for both Fe grade and recovery and optimized within the experimental range. the optimum reagent dosages are found to be as follows： collector concentration of 243.58 g/t, dispersant concentration of 195.67 g/t, pH 8.69, and conditioning time of 4.8 min to achieve the maximum Fe grade of 64.25% with 67.33% recovery. the predictions of the model with regard to iron grade and recovery are in good agreement with the experimental results.
