Macroalgae are multicellular,aquatic autotrophs that play vital roles in global climate maintenance and have diverse applications in biotechnology and eco-engineering,which are directly linked to their multicellularity ***,their genomic diversity and the evolutionary mechanisms underlying multicellularity in these organisms remain *** this study,we sequenced 110 macroalgal genomes from diverse climates and phyla,and identified key genomic features that distinguish them from their microalgal *** for cell adhesion,extracellular matrix formation,cell polarity,transport,and cell differentiation distinguish macroalgae from microalgae across all three major phyla,constituting conserved and unique gene sets supporting multicellular *** genes show phylum-and climate-specific expansions that may facilitate niche ***,our study reveals genetic determinants of convergent and divergent evolutionary trajectories that have shaped morphological diversity in macroalgae and provides genome-wide frameworks to understand photosynthetic multicellular evolution in aquatic environments.

In an era dominated by artificial intelligence (AI), establishing customer confidence is crucial for the integration and acceptance of AI technologies. this interdisciplinary study examines factors influencing customer trust in AI systems through a mixed-methods approach, blending quantitative analysis with qualitative insights to create a comprehensive conceptual framework. Quantitatively, the study analyzes responses from 1248 participants using structural equation modeling (SEM), exploring interactions between technological factors like perceived usefulness and transparency, psychological factors including perceived risk and domain expertise, and organizational factors such as leadership support and ethical accountability. the results confirm the model, showing significant impacts of these factors on consumer trust and AI adoption attitudes. Qualitatively, the study includes 35 semi-structured interviews and five case studies, providing deeper insight into the dynamics shaping trust. Key themes identified include the necessity of explainability, domain competence, corporate culture, and stakeholder engagement in fostering trust. the qualitative findings complement the quantitative data, highlighting the complex interplay between technology capabilities, human perceptions, and organizational practices in establishing trust in AI. By integrating these findings, the study proposes a novel conceptual model that elucidates how various elements collectively influence consumer trust in AI. this model not only advances theoretical understanding but also offers practical implications for businesses and policymakers. the research contributes to the discourse on trust creation and decision-making in technology, emphasizing the need for interdisciplinary efforts to address societal challenges associated with technological advancements. We report on an experiment performed at the FLASH2 free-electron laser(FEL)aimed at producing warm dense matter via soft x-ray isochoric *** the experiment,we focus on study of the ions emitted during the soft x-ray ablation process using time-of-flight electron multipliers and a shifted Maxwell–Boltzmann velocity distribution *** find that most emitted ions are thermal,but that some impurities chemisorbed on the target surface,such as protons,are accelerated by the electrostatic field created in the plasma by escaped *** morphology of the complex crater structure indicates the presence of several ion groups with varying *** find that the ion sound velocity is controlled by the ion temperature and show how the ion yield depends on the FEL radiation attenuation length in different materials.

Immune tolerance is a highly regulated state and involves diverse *** to the induction of tolerance is the targeted modulation of t-cell activities(both effector and regulatory),in which transcription factors play a significant *** nuclear factor kappa-B(NF-κB)family is a family of transcription factors that not only are critically involved in diverse t-cell responses but also are regulated by many mechanisms to maintain tolerance and t-cell ***-κB,as a transcription factor,has been extensively studied in recent decades,and the molecular mechanisms that regulate NF-κB activities have been well ***,recent studies have revealed exciting new roles for NF-κB;in addition to its transcriptional activity,NF-κB can also activate diverse epigenetic mechanisms that mediate extensive chromatin remodeling of target genes to regulate t-cell *** this review article,we highlight recent discoveries and emerging opportunities in targeting NF-κB family members as well as their associated chromatin modifiers in the induction of immune tolerance and in the clinical treatment of immune diseases.

the global obesity pandemic has resulted in a rise in the prevalence of male obesity-related secondary hypogonadism(MOSH)with emerging evidence on the role of testosterone *** aim to provide an updated and practical approach towards its *** did a comprehensive literature search across MEDLINE(via PubMed),Scopus,and Google Scholar databases using the keywords“MOSH”Or“Obesity-related hypogonadism”Or“testosterone replacement therapy”Or“Selective estrogen receptor modulator”Or“SErM”Or“Guidelines on male hypogonadism”as well as a manual search of references within the articles.A narrative review based on available evidence,recommendations and their practical implications was *** weight loss is the ideal therapeutic strategy for patients with MOSH,achievement of significant weight reduction is usually difficult with lifestyle changes alone in real-world ***,androgen administration is often necessary in the management of hypogonadism in patients with MOSH which also improves many other comorbidities related to ***,there is conflicting evidence for the appropriate use of testosterone replacement therapy(trt),and it can also be associated with *** evidence-based review updates the available evidence including the very recently published results of the trAVErSE trial and provides comprehensive clinical practice pearls for the management of patients with *** starting testosterone replacement in functional hypogonadism of obesity,it would be desirable to initiate lifestyle modification to ensure weight *** should be coupled with the management of other comorbidities related to obesity in MOSH *** the risks and benefits of trt should be considered in every patient before and during longterm management.

An understanding of the roles and representations of women in classical Chinese philosophy is here derived from central texts such as the Analects,the Lienii Zhuan,and the I *** argue that the roles of women during the classical period of Chinese philosophy tended to be as part of the "inner," working domestically as a housewife and *** will be shown from three passages from the *** were represented as submissive and passive,as with the qualities ascribed to yin energy,and therefore as rightfully subordinate to ***,despite representations of women in philosophy being thus at this time,there were exceptions,specific women who could take a male "outer" political *** story of Jing Jiang from the Lienii Zhuan suggests that although women being involved in "outer" affairs were looked down on,there were still women who would be and who would occasionally get praised for doing *** shows that it was realized,explicitly or otherwise,that women were capable of taking those roles,but also that they were not allowed to take such roles at that time.

radiation-induced cardiovascular disease(rICVD) is the most common nonmalignant cause of morbidity and mortality among cancer survivors who have undergone mediastinal radiation therapy(rt).Cardiovascular complications include effusive or constrictive pericarditis,cardiomyopathy,valvular heart disease,and coronary/vascular *** are pathophysiologically distinct disease entities whose prevalence varies depending on the timing and extent of radiation exposure to the heart and great *** refinements in rt dosimetry and shielding will inevitably limit future cases of rICVD,the increasing number of long-term cancer survivors,including those treated with older higher-dose rt regimens,will ensure a steady flow of afflicted patients for the foreseeable ***,there is a pressing need for enhanced understanding of the disease mechanisms,and improved detection methods and treatment *** characterized mechanisms responsible for the establishment of chronic fibrosis,such as oxidative stress,inflammation and epigenetic modifications,are discussed and linked to potential treatments currently under *** imaging modalities may serve as powerful screening tools in rICVD,and recent research and expert opinion advocating their use is *** arguing for the aggressive use of percutaneous interventions,such as transcutaneous valve replacement and drug-eluting stents,are examined and considered in the context of prior therapeutic *** and its treatment options are the subject of a rich and dynamic body of research,and patients who are at risk or suffering from this disease will benefit from the care of physicians with specialty expertise in the emerging field of cardiooncology.
