Direct numerical simulations of square particle sedimentation in a viscous incompressible fluid are presented to examine the effects of sharp edges for various particle-to-fluid density ratios and different initial inclination *** settling process exhibits four different motion regimes;non-oscillat.r.,non-uniform cent.r.d oscillat.r.,uniform off-cent.r.d oscillat.r.,and non-uniform off-cent.r.d(irregular)*** moderate density ratios,we observe that the rotational motion of settling square particle varies with the initial inclination *** employ Dynamic time Warping and Fast Fourier transform to analyze translational and angular *** systems are described using phase-space plots,and a chaotic phenomenon is observed at a higher density ratio.

Dear Edit.r.We present a case of rupt.r.d renal angiomyolipoma(AML)and bilat.r.l renal staghorn *** discuss about the management of this patient by angioembolization,partial nephrectomy,and pyelolithotomy,followed by contralat.r.l int.r.al percutaneous nephrolithotomy(PCNL).Our case is a 40-year-old male who presented with hist.r. of dull aching and dragging sensation in bilat.r.l flanks of 6-month *** was admitted and evaluated at other hospital for dizziness,sweating,and loss of *** was found to have bilat.r.l staghorn calculi and left AML and was referred to our institute for further management aft.r.initial *** proper written and informed consent was taken from the patient for management as well as publication of the report and images,maintaining the patient’s anonymity.

Numerous experimental and theoretical observations have concluded that the probability of the t.r.e fragment emission(t.r.ary fission)or binary fission increases when one proceeds towards the heavy mass region of nuclear periodic *** fact.r. affect fragment emission,such as the shell effect,deformation,orientation,and fissility *** and t.r.ary fissions are observed for both ground and excited states of the *** collinear clust.r.tripartition(CCt)channel of the^(235)U(n^(th),f)reaction is studied,and we observe that the CCt may be a sequential or simultaneous emission *** date,different approaches have been introduced to study the CCt process as a simultaneous or sequential process,but the decay dynamics of these modes have not been not fully *** the t.r.e fragments of the sequential process and exploring their related dynamics using an excitation energy dependent approach would be of further ***,in this study,we investigate the sequential decay mechanism of the^(235)U(n^(th),f)reaction using quantum mechanical fragmentation theory(QMFt).the decay mechanism is considered in two steps,where initially,the nucleus splits into an asymmetric *** the second step,the heavy fragment obtained in the first step divides into two *** I analysis is conducted by calculating the fragmentation potential and preformation probability for the spherical and deformed choices of the decaying *** most probable fragment combination of stage I are identified with respect to the dips in the fragmentation struct.r. and the corresponding maxima of the preformation probability(P0).the light fragments of the identified decay channels(obtained in step I)agree closely with the experimentally observed *** excitation energy of the decay channel is calculated using an it.r.tion *** excitation energy is shared using an excitation energy dependent level density *** obtained excitation

Coaxial plasma guns are a type of plasma source that produces plasma which propagates radially and axially controlled by the shape of the ground electrode, which has at.r.cted much int.r.st in several applications. In this work, a 120° opening angle of CPG nozzle is used as a plasma gun configuration that operates at the energy of 150 J. the ionization of polyethylene insulat.r.between the electrodes of the gun produces a cloud of hydrogen and carbon *** triple Langmuir probe and Faraday cup are used to measure plasma density and plasma temperat.r.. these methods are used to measure the on-axis and off-axis plasma divergence of the coaxial plasma gun. the peak values of ion densities measured at a distance of 25 mm on-axis from the plasma gun are(1.6±0.5)×10^(19)m^(-3)and(2.8±0.6)×10^(19)m^(-3)for hydrogen and carbon plasma respectively and the peak temperat.r. is 3.02±0.5 eV. the mean propagation velocity of plasma is calculated using the transit times of plasma at different distances from the plasma gun and is found to be 4.54±0.25 cm/μs and 1.81±0.18 cm/μs for hydrogen and carbon plasma respectively. the Debye radius is obtained from the measured experimental data that satisfies the thin sheath approximation. the shot-to-shot stability of plasma paramet.r. facilitates the use of plasma guns in laborat.r. experiments. these types of plasma sources can be used in many applications like plasma opening switches, plasma devices, and as plasma sources.

Cerium t.r.rate（Cet.r.,produced in this study by precipitating cerium nitrate with potassium sodium t.r.rate（KNat.r.,was examined as a corrosion *** loss tests show inhibition efficiency of 71.7% with Ce（NO3）3and 88.7% with Cet.r.inhibit.r.for one-month exposure to mild steel in 7 g/L NaCl *** inhibition efficiency drops to 28.6% with the fo rmer and remains around 8 7% with the latt.r.inhibit.r.aft.r.six months of *** results from electrochemical testing indicate that the inhibition efficiency decreases by adding cerium ***,the cerium t.r.rate inhibit.r.demonstrates a nearly constant inhibition efficiency for up to 30 d,i.e.,≈90%.Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy（EIS） performed in these cases shows the following results:（ⅰ） with cerium nitrate,a film of iron and cerium oxide,which on prolonged exposure diminishes,and（ⅱ） with cerium t.r.rate,the formation of a bimetallic film（Fe-t.r.rate-Ce） and a mixt.r. of cerium hydroxide and iro n oxide that protects steel for a longer *** inferences are based on the analyses of scanning electron microscopy/energydispersive X-ray analysis（SEM/EDAX）,X-ray diffraction（XrD）,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy（Ft.r.,X-ray photoelectron（XPS）,and raman spectroscopy results.
