the dissolution behavior of Caldag lat.r.tic nickel ore subjected to a sequential organic acid leaching method was investigated. the effects of the type of organic acid, acid concentration, leaching time, and leaching temperat.r. on the lat.r.tic nickel ore were examined. Organic acids were used individually prior to sequential leaching. Citric acid was more effective than the other two acids for the selective leaching of nickel and cobalt. An increase in the citric acid concentration negligibly affected the dissolution of the metals, whereas temperat.r. exhibited a strong beneficial effect. Oxalic acid was det.r.ined to be the most appropriate organic acid for the second leaching step. Aft.r.8 h（4 h ＋ 4 h） of leaching with organic acids（0.5 M citric ＋ 0.5 M oxalic） in sequence at 90°C, 89.63% Ni, 82.89% Co, and 69.63% Fe were leached from the lat.r.tic nickel ore. A sequential citric ＋ oxalic acid leaching method could represent a viable alt.r.ative for the dissolution of metals from lat.r.tic nickel ore.

the Puna grasslands support grazing systems that produce meat and wool in multi-species herds,especially from llama(Lama glama)and ***,it is yet unknown whether grazing pressure can modify grassland struct.r. and Plant Functional types diversity and cover in Puna *** analyzed the relationship between grazing pressure and Plant Functional types by comparing transects located near stockyards(high grazing pressure)and far from them(low pressure)and by evaluating the relationship between the Plant Functional types cover to a Grazing Pressure Index(GPI).this index incorporates the het.r.geneity of traditional past.r.l *** two ecological sites(Ciénego and tolar),we sampled paired transects(near-far).Plots near and far from corrals were similar in all the variables measured except for plots in tolar,which tend to have higher total cover,possibly due to fecal fertilization near ***,we recorded an increase in total cover and grass cover at higher GPI in Ciénego,while in tolar we found lower values of total cover and herbaceous dicotyledonous cover at int.r.ediate intensities of *** only negative relationship found was the cover of clonal and non-clonal shrubs,possibly explained by the great.r.use of these shrubs as firewood near *** summary,our study does not show important changes in Plant Functional types as a function of grazing pressure in the studied grasslands probably because grazing pressure is diluted or diminished when livestock rotates in different areas and grazing durations ***,the long grazing hist.r. with which the Puna has evolved could also contribute to the co-struct.r.tion between native vegetation and livestock farming.

the snow cover over the taurus Mountains affects wat.r.supply, agricult.r., and hydropower generation in the region. In this study, we analyzed the monthly Snow Cover Extent(SCE) from November to April in the Central taurus Mountains(Bolkar, Aladaglar, tahtali and Binboga Mountains) from 1981 to 2021. Linear trends of snow cover season(November to April) over the last 41 years showed decreases in SCE primarily at lower elevations. the downward trend in SCE was found to be more pronounced and statistically significant for only November and March. SCE in the Central taurus Mountains has declined about-6.3% per decade for 2500-3000 m in November and about-6.0% per decade for 1000-1500 m and 3000+ m in March over the last 41 years. the loss of SCE has become evident since the 2000s, and the lowest negative anomalies in SCE have been observed in 2014, 2001, and 2007 in the last 41 years, which are consistent with an increase in air temperat.r. and decreased precipitation. SCE was correlated with both mean temperat.r. and precipitation, with temperat.r. having a great.r.relative importance at all elevated gradients. results showed that there is a strong linear relationship between SCE and the mean air temperat.r.(r =-0.80) and precipitation(r = 0.44) for all elevated gradients during the snow season. the Arctic Oscillation(AO), the North Atlantic Oscillation(NAO), and the Medit.r.anean Oscillation(MO) wint.r.indices were used to explain the year-to-year variability in SCE over the Central taurus Mountains. the results showed that the int.r.annual variability observed in the wint.r.SCE on the Central taurus Mountains was positively correlated with the phases of the wint.r.AO, NAO and MO, especially below 2000 m elevation.

One objective of developing machine learning(ML)-based mat.r.al models is to integrate them with well-established numerical methods to solve boundary value problems(BVPs).In the family of ML models,recurrent neural networks(rNNs)have been extensively applied to capt.r. hist.r.-dependent constitutive responses of granular mat.r.als,but these multiple-step-based neural networks are neither sufficiently efficient nor aligned with the standard finite element method(FEM).Single-step-based neural networks like the multi-layer perceptron(MLP)are an alt.r.ative to bypass the above issues but have to introduce some int.r.al variables to encode complex loading *** this work,one novel Frobenius norm-based int.r.al variable,together with the Fourier layer and residual architect.r.enhanced MLP model,is crafted to replicate the hist.r.-dependent constitutive feat.r.s of representative volume element.r.E)for granular *** obtained ML models are then seamlessly embedded into the FEM to solve the BVP of a biaxial compression case and a rigid strip footing *** obtained solutions are comparable to results from the FEM-DEM multiscale modelling but achieve significantly improved *** results demonstrate the applicability of the proposed int.r.al variable in enabling MLP to capt.r. highly nonlinear constitutive responses of granular mat.r.als.
