Recent.y, organic solar cells have at.ract.d t.e at.ent.on of many researchers owing t. flexibilit., low cost. light.weight.and large-area applicat.ons, and significant.improvement.in t.e power conversion efficiency（PCE）. In t.is work, we designed chains from organic compounds as donors and replaced t.e core unit.in each series wit. a variet. of accept.rs in order t. enhance t.eir opt.cal and elect.onic charact.rizat.on and performance for power conversion efficiencies in organic solar cells. We ut.lized densit. funct.onal t.eory（Dft. and t.me-dependent.densit. funct.onal t.eory（t.-Dft. t. invest.gat. t.e geomet.y opt.mizat.on by using t.e Gaussian 09 program. Bot. elect.onic and opt.cal propert.es were det.rmined, which involve t.e lowest.unoccupied molecular orbit.l（LUMO） and t.e highest.occupied molecular orbit.l（HOMO） levels, t.e band gap energy, maximum absorpt.on wavelengt.(λ;max;), open circuit.volt.ge(V;oc;), and light.harvest.ng efficiency（LHE）. Our evaluat.on denot.s t.at.t.e small compounds suggest.d are predict.d t. exhibit.t.e best.performance compared t. t.e first.series（SC1）, like a lower band gap energy, a lower HOMO energy level, a great.r absorpt.on range, and a larger PCE.
