Optimizing piezoelectric performance of complex perovskite through increasing diversity of B-site cations

Piezoelectric materials with unique properties are hugely appealing for high sensitivity sensors and ultrasonic ***,Pb(Ni_(1/3)Nb_(2/3))O_(3)-Pb(Yb_(1/2)Nb_(1/2))O_(3)-PbtiO_(3)piezoelectric system was designed and investigated in *** optimized piezoelectric response(d_(33)=826 pC/N,d_(33)∗=1017 pm/V)together with good temperature stability and negligible performance degradation up to 10^(6) cycles was achieved in 0.58PNN-0.10PYN-0.32Pt *** analysis revealed the amplification of intrinsic and extrinsic contributions in MPB region due to more spontaneous polarization orientations and an increase in chemical disorder of system after the introduction of *** origin of high piezoelectric response was investigated through the combination of scanning electron microscopy and piezoresponse force *** diversity of B-site cations was shown to enhance local structural heterogeneity,weaken long-range ferroelectric ordered domains,and lower free energy barrier via the formation of nanodomain configuration that promoted polarization rotation,thereby improving piezoelectric properties of the ***,it is suggested that increasing the diversity of B-site cations is an effective strategy for achieving outstanding piezoelectric performance.

A degradative solvent extraction method for upgrading low-rank coal was performed at 200-350◦C for 90 min to obtain a substance dissolved in the solvent at room temperature(Soluble).Because the resulting mixture exhibited a high carbon content without ash,it could be readily used as a ***,deep eutectic solvents(DESs)have attracted attention for improving the Soluble yield and decreasing the oxygen content in *** is known to cleave oxygen-containing functional groups in biomass and is considered effective for deoxidizing low-rank ***,DES was prepared by mixing choline chloride,FeCl3⋅6H2O,and Adaro subbituminous coal(AD)and then added to 1-methylnaphthalene(1-MN)in a non-polar solvent,followed by degradative solvent extraction in the range of 200-350◦*** effects of reaction temperature and added DES amount on the product yield and the composition were *** the reaction temperature and amount of DES added increased,the Soluble yield and carbon content *** was also found that the thermal decomposition temperature and oxygen content decreased with the increasing DES *** decrease indicates that DES promotes the deoxygenation and decomposition of AD and increases the soluble yield of the fuel source.

As an established spatial analytical tool,Geographically Weighted Regression(GWR)has been applied across a variety of ***,its usage can be challenging for large datasets,which are increasingly prevalent in today’s digital *** this study,we propose two high-performance R solutions for GWR via Multi-core Parallel(MP)and Compute Unified Device Architecture(CUDA)techniques,respectively GWR-MP and *** compared GWR-MP and GWR-CUDA with three existing solutions available in Geographically Weighted Models(GWmodel),Multi-scale GWR(MGWR)and Fast GWR(FastGWR).Results showed that all five solutions perform differently across varying sample sizes,with no single solution a clear winner in terms of computational ***,solutions given in GWmodel and MGWR provided acceptable computational costs for GWR studies with a relatively small sample *** a large sample size,GWR-MP and FastGWR provided coherent solutions on a Personal Computer(PC)with a common multi-core configuration,GWR-MP provided more efficient computing capacity for each core or thread than *** cases when the sample size was very large,and for these cases only,GWR-CUDA provided the most efficient solution,but should note its I/O cost with small *** summary,GWR-MP and GWR-CUDA provided complementary high-performance R solutions to existing ones,where for certain data-rich GWR studies,they should be preferred.

RMP was reported to regulate transcription via competing with HBx to bind the general transcription factor IIB (tFIIB) and interacting with RPB5 subunit of RNA polymerase Ⅱ as a corepressor of transcription regulator. However, our present research uncovered that RMP also regulates the transcription through interaction with the general transcription factors IIF (tFIIF), which assemble in the preinitiation complex and function in both transcription initiation and elongation. With in vitro pull-down assay and Far-Western analysis, we demonstrated that RMP could bind with bacterially expressed recombinant RAP30 and RAP74 of tFIIF subunits. In the immunoprecipitation assay in COS1 cells cotransfected with FLAG-tagged RMP or its mutants, GSt-fused RAP30 and RAP74 were co-immunoprecipitated with RMP in approximately equal molar ratio, which suggests that RAP30 and RAP74 interact with RMP as a tFIIF complex. Poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA)has been widely used in industrial and consumer *** this study,we aimed to address this challenge by synthesizing well-defined multiarm poly(vinyl acetate)(PVAc)through the use of nonhydrolyzable vinyl ethertype multifunctional RAFt *** control over molecular weights was achieved by the RAFt process to afford polymers with dominant head-to-head linkages at the ***,quantitative end-functionalization of the synthesized PVAc was performed using Michael thiol−ene or disulfide exchange ***,saponification of the PVAc enabled the synthesis of end-functionalized multiarm PVA in an efficient *** straightforward approach afforded well-defined functional PVAs,which enable further chemical modification,thus widening the utility of PVA in a range of applications,such as precisely controlled network synthesis and bioconjugation.

In contrast to ion beams produced by conventional accelerators,ion beams accelerated by ultrashort intense laser pulses have advantages of ultrashort bunch duration and ultrahigh density,which are achieved in compact ***,it is still challenging to simultaneously enhance their quality and yield for practical applications such as fast ion ignition of inertial confinement *** with other mechanisms of laser-driven ion acceleration,the hole-boring radiation pressure acceleration has a special advantage in generating high-fluence ion beams suitable for the creation of high energy density state of *** this paper,we present a review on some theoretical and numerical studies of the hole-boring radiation pressure *** we discuss the typical field structure associated with this mechanism,its intrinsic feature of oscillations,and the underling *** we will review some recently proposed schemes to enhance the beam quality and the efficiency in the hole-boring radiation pressure acceleration,such as matching laser intensity profile with target density profile,and using two-ion-species *** on this,we propose an integrated scheme for efficient high-quality hole-boring radiation pressure acceleration,in which the longitudinal density profile of a composite target as well as the laser transverse intensity profile are tailored according to the matching condition.

the fibre-reinforced structure in synovial articular cartilage plays an important role in enhancing the fluid load support in the biphasic lubrication ***(vinyl alcohol)(PVA)hydrogel is a potential biomimetic articular cartilage *** this study,PVA hydrogel was reinforced with PVA fibres to improve its frictional *** computational analysis,the position of the PVA fibre layer was examined with a migrating contact condition to reduce the friction *** improve the fibre reinforcement,a method for fibre placement was developed to retain the initial strain of the fibre in the hydrogel *** experimental results showed that the fibre-reinforced PVA hydrogel with a surface fibre layer had a low friction coefficient of 0.031 in pure *** fibre-reinforced PVA hydrogel successfully reduced friction coefficient.
