Flame-assisted ultrafast synthesis of functionalized carbon nanosheets for high-performance sodium storage

The unique structural features of hard carbon(HC)make it a promising anode candidate for sodium-ion batteries(SIB).However,traditional methods of preparing HC require special equipment,long reaction times,and large energy consumption,resulting in low throughputs and *** our contribution,a novel synthesis method is proposed,involving the formation of HC nanosheets(NS-CNs)within minutes by creating an anoxic environment through flame combustion and further introducing sulfur and nitrogen sources to achieve heteroatom *** effect of heterogeneous element doping on the microstructure of HC is quantitatively analyzed by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy and image processing *** with density functional theory calculation,it is verified that the functionalized HC exhibits stronger Na^(+)adsorption ability,electron gain ability,and Na^(+)migration *** a result,NS-CNs as SIB anodes provide an ultrahigh reversible capacity of 542.7mAh g^(-1) at 0.1Ag^(-1),and excellent rate performance with a reversible capacity of 236.4mAh g^(-1) at 2Ag^(-1) after 1200 ***,full cell assembled with NS-CNs as the can present 230mAh g^(-1) at 0.5Ag^(-1) after 150 ***,in/ex situ techniques confirm that the excellent sodium storage properties of NS-CNs are due to the construction of abundant active sites based on the novel synthesis method for realizing the reversible adsorption of Na^(+).This work provides a novel strategy to develop novel carbons and gives deep insights for the further investigation of facile preparation methods to develop high-performance carbon anodes for alkali-ion batteries.

Objective:To determine the genetic diversity of Plasmodium(P.)knowlesi isolates from Sabah,Malaysian Borneo and Peninsular Malaysia,targeting the S-type SSU rRNA gene and including aspects of natural selection and ***:Thirty-nine blood samples infected with *** were collected in Sabah,Malaysian Borneo and Peninsular *** S-type SSU rRNA gene was amplified using polymerase chain reaction,cloned into a vector,and *** natural selection and haplotype of the S-type SSU rRNA gene sequences were determined using DnaSP v6 and illustrated using NETWORK *** study's 39 S-type SSU rRNA sequences and eight sequences from the Genbank database were subjected to phylogenetic analysis using MEGA ***:Overall,the phylogenetic analysis showed no evidence of a geographical cluster of *** isolates from different areas in Malaysia based on the S-type SSU rRNA gene *** S-type SSU rRNA gene sequences were relatively conserved and with a purifying *** sharing of the S-type SSU rRNA gene was observed between the *** isolates in Sabah,Malaysian Borneo,but not between Sabah,Malaysian Borneo and Peninsular ***:This study suggests that the S-type SSU rRNA gene of *** isolates in Sabah,Malaysian Borneo,and Peninsular Malaysia has fewer polymorphic sites,representing the conservation of the *** features make the S-type SSU rRNA gene suitable for comparative studies,such as determining the evolutionary relationships and common ancestry among *** species.

Aggregation of species with similar ecological properties is one of the effective methods to simplify food web ***,species aggregation will affect not only the complexity of modeling process but also the accuracy of models’*** of aggregation methods and the number of trophospecies are the keys to study the simplification of food *** this study,three aggregation methods,including taxonomic aggregation(TA),structural equivalence aggregation(SEA),and self-organizing maps(SOM),were analyzed and compared with the linear inverse model–Markov Chain Monte Carlo(lim-MCMC)*** of aggregation methods and trophospecies number on food webs were evaluated based on the robustness and unitless of ecological net-work *** showed that aggregation method of SEA performed better than the other two methods in estimating food web structure and function *** effects of aggregation methods were driven by the differences in species aggregation principles,which will alter food web structure and function through the redistribution of energy *** to the results of mean absolute percentage error(MAPE)which can be applied to evaluate the accuracy of the model,we found that MAPE in food web indices will increase with the reducing trophospecies number,and MAPE in food web function indices were smaller and more stable than those in food web structure ***,trade-off between simplifying food webs and reflecting the status of ecosystem should be con-sidered in food web *** findings highlight the importance of aggregation methods and trophospecies number in the analy-sis of food web *** study provided a framework to explore the extent to which food web models are affected by dif-ferent species aggregation,and will provide scientific basis for the construction of food webs.

色度域亮度域信息融合的监控视频重压缩取证

为解决当前视频重压缩取证方法没有考虑色度域信息、取证准确度低的问题,提出一种面向最新多用途视频编码(versatile video coding,VVC)标准色度域亮度域信息融合的监控视频重压缩取证方法(CLF-SVRF)。基于VVC标准的编码原理,从监控视频的色度域和亮度域维度分析并确定VVC视频码流中与压缩次数密切相关的基础码流特征;基础码流特征包括色度域和亮度域编码单元(coding unit,CU)的划分类型及预测模式;结合拉格朗日率失真优化技术分析随着压缩次数的增加,色度域亮度域CU划分类型和预测模式的变化;进一步确定色度域亮度域CU划分类型和预测模式可以作为检测视频压缩次数的基础码流特征;接着考虑视频监控应用对重压缩取证方法低复杂度的需求,基于色度域亮度域CU划分类型和预测模式构建低复杂度高级码流特征;将高级码流特征输入支持向量机完成监控视频的重压缩取证。实验结果表明,与当前先进方法相比,CLF-SVRF方法的监控视频重压缩取证准确度平均提升了13.53%,同时可以大幅度地降低重压缩取证耗时,重压缩取证时间平均减少了47.42%。

Significance increase in dengue cases have been recorded worldwide every year and South East Asian countries have been badly ***,antiviral drug to treat dengue is still not available but papaya leaves extract(PLE)have been successfully used in treating dengue *** in PLE is the major active compounds that contributes to the anti-thrombocytopenic activity(raising platelet count in patient’s blood).The PLE also contains polyphenols that contribute to antioxidant *** were carried out to extract and quantify carpaine from young leaves,old leaves and stalks of papaya *** crystalline powders were successfully purified and confirmed by ^(1)H and ^(13)C NMR(Nuclear Magnetic Resonance).Young papaya leaves recorded significantly higher amount of carpaine(P<0.05)as compared with old leaves and *** treatment showed significant effect(P<0.05)on the amount of carpaine extracted from the young and old leaves and blended young leaves showed significantly much higher amount of carpaine as compared with the unblended samples(P<0.05).In terms of total polyphenols content(TPC),young leaves(both unblended and blended samples)contained significantly higher amount of TPC(P<0.05)followed by the old leaves and *** also showed relationship between the TPC and the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH)assay scavenging activities namely IC_(50)(R^(2)=0.9743)and acid equivalent antioxidant capacity(AEAC)(R^(2)=0.9581).Both young and old leaves also showed significantly higher(P<0.05)DPPH scavenging activities as compared with the stalks in both unblended and blended *** papaya leaves were recommended as source of material to extract carpaine for future development of drug in dengue treatment.

The ever-growing research on lymphatic biology has clearly identified lymphatic vessels as key players that maintain human health through their functional roles in tissue fluid homeostasis,immunosurveillance,lipid metabolism and *** is therefore not surprising that the list of human diseases associated with lymphatic malfunctions has grown larger,including issues beyond lymphedema,a pathology traditionally associated with lymphatic drainage ***,the discovery of factors and pathways that can promote optimal lymphatic functions may offer new therapeutic *** evidence indicates that aside from biochemical factors,biomechanical signals also regulate lymphatic vessel expansion and functions ***,we review how mechanical forces induced by fluid shear stress affect the behavior and functions of lymphatic vessels and the mechanisms lymphatic vessels employ to sense and transduce these mechanical cues into biological signals.

Coastal ecosystems are critical to the functioning of the earth's lifesupporting systems. However, temporal variations in most of these ecosystems have remained unclear so far. In this study, we employed a linear inverse model with Markov Chain Monte Carlo(lim-MCMC) combined with ecological network analysis to reveal the temporal variations of the food web in Haizhou Bay of China. Food webs were constructed based on diet composition data in this ecosystem during the year of 2011 and 2018. Results indicated that there were obvious temporal variations in the composition of food webs in autumn of 2011 and 2018. The number of prey and predators for most species in food web decreased in 2018 compared with 2011,especially for Trichiurus lepturus, zooplankton, Amblychaeturichthys hexanema, and Loligo sp. The use of nanosized titanium dioxide（TiO2） and zinc oxide（ZnO） in the suspension form during treatment makes the recovering and recycling of photocatalysts ***,supported photocatalysts are preferred for practical water treatment *** study was conducted to investigate the efficiency of calcium alginate（CaAlg） beads that were immobilized with hybrid photocatalysts,TiO2/ZnO to form TiO2/*** immobilized beads,with three different mass ratios of TiO2：ZnO（1：1,1：2,and 2：1） were used to remove Cu（Ⅱ） in aqueous solutions in the presence of ultraviolet *** beads were subjected to three cycles of photocatalytic treatment with different initial Cu（Ⅱ） concentrations（10-80 ppm）.EDX spectra have confirmed the inclusion of Ti and Zn on the surface of the CaAlg ***,the surface morphology of the beads as determined using SEM,has indicated differences of before and after the photocatalytic treatment of Cu（Ⅱ）.Among all three,the equivalent mass ratio TiO2/ZnO-CaAlg beads have shown the best performance in removing Cu（Ⅱ） during all three recycling *** TiO2/ZnO-CaAlg beads have also shown consistent removal of Cu,ranging from 7.14-52.0 ppm（first cycle） for initial concentrations of10-80 *** comparison,bare CaAlg was only able to remove 6.9-48 ppm of similar initial Cu ***,the potential use of TiO2/ZnO-CaAlg beads as environmentally friendly composite material can be further extended for heavy metal removal from contaminated water.
