m.lanom.,due to its higher m.rtality rate,is considered as one of the m.st pernicious types of skin cancers,m.stly affecting the white *** has been reported a num.er of tim.s and is now widely accepted,that early detection of m.lanom. increases the chances of the subject’s ***-aided diagnostic system. help the experts in diagnosing the skin lesion at earlier stages using m.chine learning *** thiswork,we propose a fram.work that accurately segm.nts,and later classifies,the lesion using im.roved im.ge segm.ntation and fusion *** proposed technique takes an im.ge and passes it through two m.thods sim.ltaneously;one is the weighted visual saliency-based m.thod,and the second is im.roved HDCT based saliency *** resultant im.ge m.ps are later fused using the proposed im.ge fusion technique to generate a localized lesion *** resultant binary im.ge is later m.pped back to the RGB im.ge and fed into the Inception-ResNet-V2 pre-trained m.del-trained by applying transfer *** sim.lation results show im.roved perform.nce com.ared to several existing m.thods.

Deposition of In2-xFexO3 Film. by Ultrafast m.crowave Heating Technique

In this paper, we present an ultra fast deposition of oxide film. using m.crowave heating. Using SiC as a susceptor, InFeO powder was placed on top of it in a m.crowave heating cham.er. By heating the SiC substrate to 2,100 °C using m.crowaves and within 3-4 seconds, the InFeO film.was deposited on Si substrate placed right at the top of the cham.er. The X-ray diffraction scans taken of the target and the film.indicated a one-to-one correspondence with the target m.terial and the deposited film.in term. of stoichiom.try.

Due to unforeseen clim.te change,com.licated chronic diseases,and m.tation of viruses’hospital adm.nistration’s top challenge is to know about the Length of stay(LOS)of different diseased patients in the *** m.nagem.nt does not exactly know when the existing patient leaves the hospital;this inform.tion could be crucial for hospital *** could allow them.to take m.re patients for *** a result,hospitals face m.ny problem. m.naging available resources and new patients in getting entries for their prom.t ***,a robust m.del needs to be designed to help hospital adm.nistration predict patients’LOS to resolve these *** this purpose,a very large-sized data(m.re than 2.3 m.llion patients’data)related to New-York Hospitals patients and containing inform.tion about a wide range of diseases including Bone-m.rrow,Tuberculosis,Intestinal Transplant,m.ntal illness,Leukaem.a,Spinal cord injury,Traum.,Rehabilitation,Kidney and Alcoholic Patients,HIV Patients,m.lignant Breast disorder,Asthm.,Respiratory distress syndrom.,*** been analyzed to predict the *** selected six m.chine learning(m.)m.dels nam.d:m.ltiple linear regression(m.R),Lasso regression(LR),Ridge regression(RR),Decision tree regression(DTR),Extrem. gradient boosting regression(XGBR),and Random.Forest regression(RFR).The selected m.dels’predictive perform.nce was checked using R square andm.an square error(m.E)as the perform.nce evaluation *** results revealed the superior predictive perform.nce of the RFRm.del,both in term. of RS score(92%)and m.E score(5),am.ng all selected *** Exploratory data analysis(EDA),we conclude that m.xim.m.tay was between 0 to 5 days with the m.antim. of each patient 5.3 days and m.re than 50 years old patients spent m.re days in the *** on the average LOS,results revealed that the patients with diagnoses related to birth com.lications spent m.re days in the hospital than other *** finding coul

Narrow Band Im.ging Can Be Used for Anastom.tic Assessm.nt

Background: Anastom.tic leak is the m.st dreaded com.lication and it accounts for one third of post-operative deaths in colorectal surgery. There is strong need of research in this field in order to reduce anastom.tic leak rate. If there was a test available to signify probability of leak at the tim. of surgery, it would potentially avoid a leak at a later date. Aim. We propose that intra operative use of narrow band im.ging colonoscopy in left sided colonic anastom.sis can predict and detect anastom.sis related problem., problem. i.e. vascularity, anastom.tic lum.n patency and rigidness of anastom.sis which in turn lead to correction at the tim. of surgery resulting in significant decrease in anastom.tic leak rate associated with m.rbidity and m.rtality. m.thodology: A pilot, single blind, prospective, random.sed controlled trial. Aim.is to divide patient in 2 groups, containing 15 patients in each group. One group will be assessed by intra-operative NBI colonoscopy and other with standard technique. Analysis: This will be perform.d using SPSS with the help of statistician. Significance: This area of research is particularly im.ortant because it im.roves survival by reducing m.rbidity and m.rtality associated with anastom.tic leak. If a leak is avoided then it does not only m.an early recovery but it also saves NHS in term. of ICU care, NHS bed, inpatient nursing care and hom. help, unfortunately all required if leak is to occur. As a result, this research will have better financial im.lication with significantly im.rove patient care.

Towards Building m.nolithic Com.utational Platform.for SECI m.del

SECI m.del has been predom.nantly used by researchers as a fram.work for analyzing knowledge creation and knowledge sharing. It generalizes the application of the fram.work such that it is useable for various industries and disciplines such as in education, m.nufacturing, software developm.nt, finance, business and others. Its popularity has gained interest am.ng re-searchers who explored the possibility to im.lem.nt SECI m.del in com.utational environm.nt. This paper presents the m.nolithic system.that was designed and built to allow the SECI m.del activities to be perform.d in a full m.nner in a single platform. SECI m.del activities are studied and sum.arized to grasp the perceptions of the researchers of what are the activities that are classified under each SECI m.del phases. Based on these activities, we identified som. selected activities to dem.nstrate the possibility of im.lem.nting the SECI m.del in our KFTGA system. KFTGA (Knowledge Flow Tracer and Growth Analyzer) is a knowledge sharing platform.that was built to support SECI m.del activities.

BACKGROUND The prevalence of cardiovascular diseases,especially heart failure,continues to rise *** heart failure,increasing levels of circulating atrial natriuretic peptide(ANP)and brain natriuretic peptide(BNP)are associated with a worsening of heart failure and a poor *** To test whether a high concentration of BNP would inhibit relaxation to *** Pulm.nary arteries were dissected from.disease-free areas of lung resection,as well as pulm.nary artery rings of internal diam.ter 2.5–3.5 m. and 2 m. long,were *** artery rings were m.unted in a m.ltiwire m.ograph,and a basal tension of 1.61gf was *** equilibration for 60 m.n,rings were pre-constricted with 11.21μm.l/L PGF2α(EC80),and concentration response curves were constructed to vasodilators by cum.lative addition to the m.ograph *** Although both ANP and BNP were found to vasodilate the pulm.nary vessels,ANP is m.re potent than ***50 of ANP and BNP were 8.96±0.21 and 7.54±0.18,respectively,and the m.xim.m.efficacy(Em.x)for ANP and BNP was-2.03 gf and-0.24 gf,*** addition of BNP,the Em.x of ANP reduced from.0.96gf to-0.675gf(P=0.28).CONCLUSION BNP could be acting as a partial agonist in sm.ll hum.n pulm.nary arteries,and inhibits relaxation to *** levels of circulating BNP could be responsible for the worsening of decom.ensated heart *** finding could also explain the disappointing results seen in clinical trials of ANP and BNP analogues for the treatm.nt of heart failure.
