Complementary metasurfaces based on Babinet’s principle have shown remark.ble performance in optical applications lik. polarization conversion and split ring resonators by dynamically reversing the properties of light in both transmission and reflection ***,complementary diffractive metasurfaces for different holographic images have not yet proven to be effective because Babinet’s principle predicts identical diffraction patterns from complementary ***,we report carefully designed complementary metasurfaces consisting of an engineered metallic aluminum layer sitting on a transparent quartz *** illumination,both complementary devices output entirely different diffractive intensity profiles from each other,yielding two holographic images at visible wavelengths from 430 nm to 650 *** provides experimental evidence for encoding two images into complementary metasurfaces,indicating an exception of Babinet’s principle in the Fresnel region of complementary apertures.

Laboratory to field scale assessment for EOR applicability in tight oil reservoirs

Tight oil reservoirs are contributing a major role to fulfill the overall crude oil needs,especially in the ***,the dilemma is their ultra-tight permeability and an uneconomically short-lived primary recovery ***,the application of EOR in the early reservoir development phase is considered effective for fast-paced and economical tight oil *** achieve these objectives,it is imperative to determine the optimum EOR potential and the best-suited EOR application for every individual tight oil reservoir to maximize its ultimate recovery *** most of the tight oil reservoirs are found in wide spatial source rock.with complex and compacted pores and poor geophysical properties yet they hold high saturation of good quality oil and therefore,every single percent increase in oil recovery from such huge reservoirs potentially provide an additional million barrels of ***,the EOR application in such reservoirs is quite ***,the physical understanding of EOR applications in different circumstances from laboratory to field scale is the k.y to success and similarly,the fundamental physical concepts of fluid flow-dynamics under confinement conditions play an important *** paper presents a detailed discussion on laboratory-based experimental achievements at micro-scale including fundamental concepts under confinement environment,physics-based numerical studies,and recent actual field piloting experiences based on the *** *** objective of this paper is to discuss all the critical reservoir rock.and fluid properties and their contribution to reservoir development through massive multi-staged hydraulic fracture network. and the EOR *** the CO_(2)and produced hydrocarbon gas injection through single well-based huff-n-puff operational constraints are discussed in detail both at micro and macro scale.

Synthesis of Mesoporous Lanthanum Phosphate and Its Use as a Novel Sorbent

Mesoporous lanthanum phosphate was synthesized by supramolecular self-assembly of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide and lanthanum nitrate following digestion in phosphoric acid. TGA-DTA, XRD and SEM were employed to study the uncalcined and calcined materials. Sorption behavior of Cr（Ⅲ）, Mn（Ⅱ）, Fe（Ⅲ）, Co（Ⅱ）, Ni（Ⅱ）, Cu（Ⅱ）, Zn（Ⅱ）, Cd（Ⅱ）, Ba（Ⅱ）, Hg（Ⅱ） and Pb（Ⅱ） cations was studied on such materials in water, 3 mol·L^-1 ammonia, 0.01 mol·L^-1 potassium ferrocyanide and 0.01 mol·L^-1 potassium ferricyanide solutions.

Associations of autoantibodies and clinical profile of the patients with systemic sclerosis

Back.round:Systemic sclerosis is characterized by the involvement of organs and the presence of specific *** objectives of this study were to identify the autoantibodies and to determine their association with the selected clinical features of the disease among Bangladeshi systemic sclerosis ***:This cross-sectional study was performed at the rheumatology outpatient clinic of Bangabandhu Sheik. Mujib Medical *** against nine systemic sclerosis-specific antigens were tested using an enzyme-link.d immunoassay immunoblot *** clinical features of patients with positive and negative autoantibody were examined by χ^(2) or Fisher's exact ***:A total of 71 patients with systemic sclerosis(66;93.0%female)were *** mean age at disease onset was 33.2 ***-seven(80.3%)patients had diffuse cutaneous *** of nine autoantibodies,four were positive,anti-topoisomerase-I(57.7%),anti-U1 ribonucleic protein(21.1%),anti-RNA polymerase Ⅲ(18.3%),and anticentromere antibodies(4.2%).Eleven(15.5%)patients were negative for any antibodies and 11 patients were positive for at least two ***-U3-RNP,anti-PMScl,anti-k.,and anti-Th/To auto antibodies were absent in all ***-RNA polymerase III was associated with raised pulmonary arterial systolic pressure(PASP)and anti-U1-RNP with decreased forced vital capacity(FVC).Conclusions:Anti-topoisomerase-I was the commonest autoantibody in patients with systemic sclerosis in ***-RNA polymerase III antibody had significant association with raised PASP and anti-U1-RNP with decreased FVC.
