Parametic Model for Optimiza.ion of Battery Capa.ity and Power Transmitters of On-line Electric Vehicles in Closed/Open Environments

An on-line electric vehicle(OLEV)uses a wireless charging phenomenon,in which power transmitters are installed beneath the road and the OLEV’s battery is charged *** paper deals with the optimiza.ion of two key economic and design parameters,i.e.,the size of the battery and the power transmitters alloca.ion.A complete model configura.ion of the OLEV system,including the vehicle design and power transmitter,is implemented using MATLAB/*** battery’s state of charge(SOC)rises and drops according to the vehicle’s velocity and power collection and *** mixed integer programming(MiP)model is used for cost ***,with the help of the SOC graph and MiP model,the battery size and the number of power transmitters,along with their placements,are *** proposed model is applicable to both closed and open environments as it accepts both regulated and deregulated *** test cases are performed for this *** first test case deals with regulated velocity for which we have applied the KAiST campus OLEV’s velocity along with its 13 kWh battery size and 4 power transmitters,and then applied the suggested solution with the same velocity and route i.e.,8 power transmitters with shorter lengths and reduced battery size(3.25 kWh;one-fourth of the first case).SOC is found within limits at the end of the route,sa.ing$1600 and va.ida.ing the proposed model in this *** the second test case,we use deregulated velocity and optimize both parameters,using the same approach.

Estima.ing the crowd count and density of highly dense scenes witnessed in Muslim gatherings at religious sites in Makkah and Ma.inah is critical for developing control strategies and orga.izing such a large ***,since the crowd images in this case can range from low density to high density,detection-based approaches are hard to apply for crowd ***,deep learning-based regression has become the prominent approach for crowd counting problems,where a density-map is estimated,and its integral is further computed to acquire the final count *** this paper,we put forward a novel multi-scale network(named 2U-Net)for crowd counting in sparse and dense *** proposed framework,which employs the U-Net architecture,is straightforward to implement,computa.ionally efficient,and has single-step *** layers are used to retrieve the pooling layers’erased informa.ion and learn hierarchically pixelwise spa.ial *** helps in obtaining feature values,retaining spa.ial loca.ions,and ma.imizing data.integrity to avoid data *** addition,a modified attention unit is introduced and integrated into the proposed 2UNet model to focus on specific crowd *** proposed model concentrates on balancing the number of model parameters,model size,computa.ional cost,and counting accuracy compared with other works,which may involve acquiring one criterion at the expense of other *** on five challenging datasets for density estima.ion and crowd counting have shown that the proposed model is very effective and outperforms comparable mainstream ***,it counts very well in both sparse and congested crowd *** 2U-Net model has the lowest MAE in both parts(Part A and Part B)of the ShanghaiTech,UCSD,and Mall benchmarks,with 63.3,7.4,1.5,and 1.6,***,it obtains the lowest MSE in the ShanghaiTech-Part B,UCSD,and Mall benchmarks with 12.0,1.9,and 2.1,respectively.

This paper presents a novel approach for tire-pattern classifica.ion,aimed at conducting forensic analysis on tire marks discovered at crime *** classifica.ion model proposed in this study accounts for the intricate and dyna.ic nature of tire prints found in real-world scena.ios,including accident *** address this complexity,the classifier model was developed to harness the meta-learning capa.ilities of few-shot learning algorithms(learning-to-learn).The model is meticulously designed and optimized to effectively classify both tire patterns exhibited on wheels and tire-indenta.ion marks visible on surfaces due to *** is achieved by employing a semantic segmenta.ion model to extract the tire pattern marks within the *** marks are subsequently used as a mask channel,combined with the original image,and fed into the classifier to perform ***,The proposed model follows a three-step process:(i)the Bilateral Segmenta.ion Network is employed to derive the semantic segmenta.ion of the tire pattern within a given image.(ii)utilizing the semantic image in conjunction with the original image,the model learns and clusters groups to generate vectors that define the rela.ive position of the image in the test set.(iii)the model performs predictions based on these learned *** verifica.ion demonstrates usage of semantic model to extract the tire patterns before performing classifica.ion increases the overall accuracy of classifica.ion by∼4%.

Microbes on fresh apples are closely associated with fruit disease,preserva.ion,and qua.ity *** into the microbial commu-nities on apples from different producing regions could reveal the microbial specificity and help disease prevention and qua.ity *** this paper,the apple surface microbes of 44 samples from two main Chinese apple-producing regions,Bohai Bay(BHB)and the Loess Plateau(LP),were investigated by sequencing fungal internal transcribed spacer and bacterial 16s rRNA hyperva.iable *** and LP apples con-tained significantly different bacterial and fungal *** apples had a higher fungal diversity than LP apples.A total of 102 different fungal and bacterial taxonomies were obtained between apples from the two regions,in which 24 genera were *** apples had higher phytopathogenic fungal genera,such as Tilletiopsis,Acremonium,Candida,and Phoma.indica.ing the higher phytopathogenic risks of apples from the humid climate of the BHB *** apples contained more bacterial genera.identified as gut microbes,indica.ing the potential risks of conta.ina.ing apples with foodborne pathogens in the a.id environment of the LP This study highlighted the environment-oriented mi-crobial specificity on apples from two main apple-producing regions,and provided a ba.is for further investiga.ion.

When considering the mecha.ism of the batteries,the capa.ity reduction at storage(when not in use)and cycling(during use)and increase of internal resistance is because of degrada.ion in the chemical composition inside the *** optimize battery usage,a battery management system(BMS)is used to estimate possible a.ing effects while different load profiles are requested from the *** is specifically seen in a case when the vehicle is connected to the net(online through BMS).During this process,the BMS chooses the optimized load profiles based on the least a.ing effects on the battery *** major focus of this paper is to design an algorithm/model for lithium iron phosphate(LiFePO4)*** model of the batteries is based on the accelerated a.ing test data(data from the beginning of life till the end of life).The objective is to develop an algorithm based on the actual battery trend during the whole life of the *** the analysis of the test data,the complete trend of the battery a.ing and the factors on which the a.ing is depending on is identified,the a.ing model can then be reca.ibrated to avoid any differences in the production process during cell *** va.ida.ion of the model was carried out at the end by utilizing different driving profiles at different C-rates and different ambient temperatures.A Linear and non-linear model-based approach is used based on sta.istical *** parameteriza.ion was carried out by dividing the data.into small chunks and estima.ing the parameters for the individual ***-adaptive characteristic map using a lookup table was also *** nonlinear model was chosen as the best candidate among all other approaches for longer va.ida.ion of 8-month data with real driving data set.
