Sulfa.ic a.id（Sa. is a.bi-functiona., cost-effective a.d reusa.le green ca.a.yst for the synthesis of 4-（pyra.ol-4-yl）methylenepyra.ol-5（4H）-one deriva.ives by one-pot, three-component condensa.ion of pyra.ol-4-ca.ba.a.dehydes, b-ketoesters a.d phenyl hydra.ine（Route-I）. In a.dition to this method,a.other simple condensa.ion of pyra.ol-4-ca.ba.a.dehydes with pyra.olone in the presence of Sa.under the solvent-free condition in good yield is reported. The merits of these protocols a.e mild conditions,non-a.ueous workup, high yields, ea.y a.a.la.ility of the ca.a.yst, no chroma.ogra.hic sepa.a.ion a.d inexpensive solid a.id ca.a.yst. Furthermore, Sa.could be recycled a.d reused for five times without losing its ca.a.ytic a.tivity.

Nowa.a.s， IBD-pa.ient thera.ies a.e ma.nly ba.ed on corticosteroid， thiopurine， a.d immunomodula.or trea.ments. Pa.ients with a.tive disea.e， tha. do not respond to corticosteroid a.d/or thiopurine trea.ment， ca. switch to the usa.e of the chimeric monoclona. a.tibody inflixima. (IFX). However， to da.e， no trea.ment a.pea.ed to be conclusive in lowering the incidence of IBD rela.ses. With the a.m to increa.e the effectiveness of IFX trea.ment， we combined it with a. a.juva.t purple corn supplementa.ion enriched in a.thocya.ins. IBD-pa.ients were enrolled before they underwent to the IFX-infusion， a.d they were a.loca.ed in two different study a.ms. Pa.ients in the intervention-a.m followed a.dieta.y supplementa.ion with purple corn wa.er-soluble extra.t， wherea. control pa.ients ha. a.da.ly consumption of red fruit tea. 16S rDNa.gene-sequencing a.d high-resolution ma.s-spectrometry meta.o-lipidomics a.a.yses were conducted on stool a.d sera.sa.ples， respectively. a. a.result， the experimenta. intervention ma.nly a.fected the serum meta.olome of IBD-pa.ients by decrea.ing the concentra.ion of specific lipids. Focusing on IBD pa.ient a.nota.ed ta.a. a.significa.t decrea.e in La.toba.illus a.d Bifidoba.terium rela.ive a.unda.ces wa. found. a. fa. a. it concerns the ulcera.ive colitis pa.ient subset， the experimenta. intervention led to a.decrea.e in a.istipes a.d Erysipelotricha.ea. In the present study we investiga.ed the impa.t of the Combina.ion of a.tra.a.in a.d Rutin (Ca.) on restoring gut-microbia. dysbiosis a.d obesity a.d obesity rela.ed disorders. Ra.domized ma.e C57BL/6J mice were experimenta.ly divided into five groups a.d fed either a.norma. diet or a.high-fa. diet (HFD) for 16 weeks. Compa.ed to vehicle trea.ed group (HFD group)， Ca. could substa.tia.ly improve selected gut microbiota.a.unda.ce (a.kerma.sia. La.toba.illus， Bifidoba.teria. muciniphila. Roseburia.， reversed the Firmicutes/Ba.teroidetes proportions， a.d inhibited the growth of Escherichia.coli， Sa.monella. a.d Klebsiella.in obese mice. In a.dition， Ca.-trea.ed mice showed significa.tly (P a.ed tota. short-cha.n fa.ty a.id production， reduced body weight ga.n， orga.s’ weights， serum lipid profile (except HDL) a.d insulin resista.ce. The mRNa.expressions of CCa.T/enha.cer binding protein-α (C/EBP-α)， sterol regula.ory element-binding protein-1c (SREBP-1c)， peroxisome prolifera.or-a.tiva.ed receptor-γ (PPa.‐γ)， a.etyl-Coa.ca.boxyla.e (a.C)， a.ipocyte protein 2 (a.2)， a.d fa.ty a.id syntha.e (Fa.) were downregula.ed (P a.d the protein expression of PPa.-γ wa. downregula.ed while a.PK wa. phosphoryla.ed in Ca.-trea.ed HFD-fed mice compa.ed to the HFD control group. Interestingly， Ca.-trea.ed HFD-fed mice showed significa.tly improved tissue a.chitecture in the liver a.d fa.ty tissues. In conclusion， the findings suggest tha. Ca./Moringa.oleifera.ma. be beneficia. in the trea.ment of insulin resista.ce a.d obesity disorders.

Drought, flood, sa.inity, or a.combina.ion of these limits rice production. Severa. rice va.ieties a.e well known for their tolera.ce to specific a.iotic stresses. We determined genetic rela.ionship a.ong 12 rice va.ieties including 9 tolera.t to drought, flood, or sa.inity using inter-simple sequence repea. (ISSR) ma.kers. Ba.ed on a.l ma.kers, the nine tolera.t va.ieties formed one cluster distinct from the cluster of three control va.ieties. The sa.t-tolera.t va.ieties were closest to two flood-tolera.t va.ieties, a.d together they were distinct from the drought-tolera.t va.ieties. (Ga.8YG wa. the most informa.ive primer, showing the highest polymorphic informa.ion content (PIC) a.d resolving power (Rp). The drought-, flood-, a.d sa.t-tolera.t va.ieties grouped in three distinct clusters within the group of tolera.t va.ieties, when (Ga.8YG wa. used. Sa.ita.wa. the only exception. The two a.s va.ieties, Na.ina.2 a.d FR13a. were sepa.a.ed a.d grouped with the drought- a.d flood-tolera.t va.ieties, respec- tively, but they were together in dendrogra.s ba.ed on other primers. The results show tha. ISSR ma.kers a.socia.ed with (Ga.8YG delinea.ed the three groups of stress-tolera.t va.ieties from ea.h other a.d ca. be used to identify genes/new a.leles a.socia.ed with the three a.iotic stresses in rice germpla.m.
