Ancient Economy is an intellectual battlefield in modern ancient studies par excellence. Since the famous Bflcher-Meyer-controversy,~ which was continued in a specific way by Moses I. Finley2 and Michael I. Rostovtzeff3 and ended up in an inflexible orthodoxy mainly on the primitivists＇ side,4 backed-up by premodern models like Marcel Mauss＇＂gift-giving＇＇5 and Karl Polanyi＇s ＂embedded economy,＇＇6 a lot of things have changed in the field of Ancient Economy which seemed to be divided forever between substantivists/primitivists and formalists/ modernists while other positions, e.g. that of Fritz Moritz Heichelheim, were on the verge of disappearing] On the one hand, there has been a shift away from the sole study of literary sources which were often regarded as representative of economic behavior and thoughts by the primitivists,

In 2017, the groundbreaking work of the German classical philologist and ancient historian August Boeckh on the ＂Public Economy of Athens＇＇l celebrates its 200th anniversary. The publication not only promoted the establishment of Ancient History as an academic field at universities but also marks the beginning of a systematic and interdisciplinary analysis of ancient economies. By integrating philological, historical, numismatic, epigraphical, metrological and, last but not least, macro- and micro-economic methods in his analytical account of the Athenian public, and political, economy, Boeckh set standards for a studium integrale as an inevitable basis for a successful interpretation of economic matters in a political and social framework.

Tensta-Rinkeby and Skarholmen are two suburbs of Stockholm which are characterized of a multi-ethnic and multi-religious population created by immigration during the last decades. Many of those living in Tensta-Rinkeby and Skaholmen are Muslims, and others are Christians-native Protestants or Catholic and Orthodox immigrants. This article presents data from interviews with Muslim and Christian informants, leaders as well as lay persons, on how they look upon each other across religious borders. The information is classified and interpreted according to models used by scholars in theology of religion. Some informants give vague answers due to the fact that issues of assessing beliefs of others are seldom treated in their churches and mosques. Articulated opinions can be classified from a replacement to an acceptance-model with a bulk of proponents for a fulfillment-model in the middle. Finally the article discusses the importance of how religious actors teach and act in multi-religious milieus.

We report on an experiment performed at the FLASH2 free-electron laser(FEL)aimed at producing warm dense matter via soft x-ray isochoric *** the experiment,we focus on study of the ions emitted during the soft x-ray ablation process using time-of-flight electron multipliers and a shifted Maxwell–Boltzmann velocity distribution *** find that most emitted ions are thermal,but that some impurities chemisorbed on the target surface,such as protons,are accelerated by the electrostatic field created in the plasma by escaped *** morphology of the complex crater structure indicates the presence of several ion groups with varying *** find that the ion sound velocity is controlled by the ion temperature and show how the ion yield depends on the FEL radiation attenuation length in different materials.

Dear Editor,Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)is a viral infection caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-Co V-2).From March 2020,several studies indicate that many subjects affected by mild-to-moderate COVID-19 presented olfactory/gustatory dysfunction(OD/GD)that appeared strongly correlated between them but not with the other symptoms suggestive of upper airway infection(Lechien et al.2020a,b;Hopkins et al.2020;Paderno et al.2020).

BACKGROUND Gastric pull-up after esophagectomy is still a demanding surgical procedure and associated with considerable morbidity such as anastomotic leaks,fistulas or *** complications are usually managed by endoscopy,but in extreme cases multidisciplinary management including reoperations may be ***,we report managing therapy-refractory pseudoachalasia after Ivor Lewis esophagectomy by bypassing colonic *** SUMMARY A 70-year-old male with dysphagia and regurgitation after esophagectomy with gastric pull-up reconstruction was transferred to our tertiary *** endoscopic approaches including balloon dilatation and stenting failed,retrosternal colonic pull-up with Roux-en-Y reconstruction was performed with no subsequent adverse *** Secondary colonic pull-up is a demanding but successful surgical procedure in patients suffering from therapy-refractory complaints after esophagectomy with gastric pull-up reconstruction.

MicroRNAs(miRNAs) are small RNAs regulate gene expression by inhibiting the turnover of their target mRNAs. In the last years, it became apparent that miRNAs are released into the circulation and circulating miRNAs emerged as a new class of biomarkers for various diseases. In this review we summarize available data on the role of circulating miRNAs in the context of acute and chronic liver diseases including hepatocellular and cholangiocellular carcinoma. Data from animal models are compared to human data and current challenges in the field of miRNAs research are discussed.

The coupling coefficient between the flux transformer and the planar gradiometer is 0.18. The transformer increases effectively the resolution of the gradiometer. A magnetic field gradient resolution of 73 fT.cm-1.Hz-1/2 in the white region and 596 fT.cm-1Hz-1/2 at 1 Hz has been obtained. High quality magnetocardiogram signals have been successfully measured by using this flip-chip-type gradiometer in an unshielded environment.
