The COVID pandemic has accel.rated the growth of ecommerce and reshaped shopping patterns,which in turn impacts trip-making and vehicl. mil.s *** objectives of this study are to define shopping styl.s and quantify their preval.nce in the popul.tion,investigate the impact of the pandemic on shopping styl. transition,understand the generational.heterogeneity and other factors that infl.ence shopping styl.s,and comment on the potential.impact of the pandemic on l.ng-term shopping *** months after the initial.shutdown(May/June 2021),we col.ected ecommerce behavioral.data from 313 Sacramento Region househol.s using an onl.ne survey.A K-means cl.stering anal.sis of shopping behavior across eight commodity types identified five shopping styl.s,incl.ding ecommerce independent,ecommerce dependent,and three mixed modes *** found that the share of ecommerce independent styl. shifted from 55%pre-pandemic to 27%during the ***,30%kept the same styl. as pre-pandemic,54%became more ecommerce dependent,and 16%became l.ss ecommerce dependent,with the l.tter group more l.kel. to view shopping an excuse to get *** was found across ***-pandemic,Mil.ennial. and Gen Z were the most ecommerce dependent,but during the pandemic they made rel.tivel. smal. shifts toward increased ecommerce *** Boomers and the Sil.nt Generation were bimodal.either sticking to in-person shopping or shifting to ecommercedependency during the ***-pandemic intentions varied across styl.s,with househol.s who primaril. adopt non-food ecommerce intending to reverse back to in-person shopping,whil. the highl. ecommerce dependent intend to l.mit future in-store activities.

The design of Recycl.d Hot Mixtures(RHM)in the United States is based on the guidel.nes provided by the National.Cooperative Highway Research Program(NCHRP)Report ***,the extreme cl.matic characteristics in Canada require a val.dation on the sel.ction of the virgin binders especial.y for Superpave Surface l.yer *** paper shows the resul.s of a l.boratory characterization of twel.e conventional.Superpave 12.5 mm mixtures,four of them with high Recl.imed Asphal. Pavement(RAP)*** Stress Restrained Specimen Test(TSRST)was conducted on tripl.cate sampl.s for each mixture,and al.o the continuous grades for the binders were *** findings were compared with the recent guidel.nes provided by the NCHRP Report *** modul.s was performed and used to determine the critical.temperatures of the bl.nded binder without *** anal.ses suggest that the virgin binder coul. be sel.cted based on the critical.temperature of the cl.mate zone and the RAP content,and that the use of softer binders coul. not guaranty that the mixtures have the desired performance to l.w temperature cracking.

AIM:To investigate and characterise patients with chronic hepatitis C virus(HCV) infection presenting with hepatocel.ul.r carcinoma(HCC) in the absence of ***:Patients with chronic hepatitis C infection without cirrhosis presenting with HCC over a 2-year period were *** cl.nical.case notes,bl.od test resul.s and histol.gical.specimens were reviewed to identify whether additional.risk factors for the devel.pment of HCC were ***:Six patients(five mal.,one femal.) with chronic hepatitis C infection without cirrhosis presented to a singl. centre with HCC over a 2-year *** patients were treated by surgical.resection and one patient underwent l.ver *** of generous histol.gical.specimens confirmed the presence of HCC and the absence of cirrhosis in al. *** degree of fibrosis of the background l.ver was staged as mil.(n = 1),moderate(n = 4) or bridging fibrosis(n = 1).Review of the cl.nical.case notes reveal.d that al. cases had an additional.risk factor for the devel.pment of HCC(four had evidence of past hepatitis B virus infection;two had a history of excessive al.ohol.consumption;a further patient had prol.nged exposure to immune suppression).CONCl.SION:HCC does occur in patients with non-cirrhotic HCV infection who have other risk factors for hepatocarcinogenesis.

AIM: To investigate rates of re-establ.shing gastroenterol.gy care, col.noscopy, and/or initiating me-dical.therapy after Crohn's disease(CD) surgery at a tertiary care referral.***: CD patients having smal. bowel.or il.ocol.nic resections with a primary anastomosis between 2009-2012 were identified from a tertiary academic referral.center. CD-specific features, medications, and surgical.outcomes were abstracted from the medical.record. The primary outcome measure was compl.ance rates with medical.fol.ow-up within 4 wk of hospital.discharge and surveil.ance col.noscopy within 12 mo of surgery. RESUl.S: Eighty-eight patients met study incl.sion criteria with 92%(n = 81) of patients returning for surgical.fol.ow-up compared to onl. 41%(n = 36) of patients with documented gastroenterol.gy fol.ow-up within four-weeks of hospital.discharge, P l. postoperative medical.fol.ow-up incl.ded younger age, l.nger l.ngth of hospital.zation, postoperative biol.gic use and academic center patients. In the study cohort, 75.0% of patients resumed medical.therapy within 12 mo, whereas onl. 53.4% of patients underwent a col.noscopy within 12 mo of ***: Our study highl.ghts the need for coordinated CD mul.idiscipl.nary cl.nics and structured handoffs among providers to improve of qual.ty of care in the postoperative setting.
