Process planning and scheduling are two major plann in g and control activities that consume significant part of the lead-time, theref ore all attempts are being made to reduce lead-time by automating them. Compute r Aided Process Planning (CAPP) is a step in this direction. Most of the existin g CAPP systems do not consider scheduling while generating a process plan. sched uling is done separately after the process plan has been generated and therefore , it is possible that a process plan so generated is either not optimal or feasi ble from scheduling point of view. As process plans are generated without consid eration of job shop status, many problems arise within the manufacturing environ ment. Investigations have shown that 20%～30% of all process plans generated are not valid and have to be altered or suffer production delays when production sta rts. There is thus a major need for integration of scheduling with computer aide d process planning for generating more realistic process plans. In doing so, eff iciency of the manufacturing system as a whole is expected to improve. Decision support system performs many functions such as selection of machine too ls, cutting tools, sequencing of operations, determination of optimum cutting pa rameters and checking availability of machine tool before allocating any operati on to a machine tool. The process of transforming component data, process capabi lity and decision rules into computer readable format is still a major obstacle. This paper proposes architecture of a system, which integrates computer aided p rocess-planning system with scheduling using decision support system. A decisio n support system can be defined as " an interactive system that provides the use rs with easy access to decision models in order to support semi-structured or u nstructured decision making tasks".

In this paper, we have applied the Lie algebraic model to nano-bio molecules to determine the vibrational spectra of different stretching and bending vibrational modes. The determined vibrational energy levels by the Lie algebraic model are compared with the experimental data. The results from the theoretical mode[ are consistent with the experimental data. The vibrational energy levels are clustering in the excited states.

The aim of the present s.udy was to determine changes in blood electrolytes(calcium and phosphate)in the freshwater catfish Heteropneustes fossilis following short-and long-term exposure to latex of Euphorbia *** investigate the effects of short-term exposure,fish were exposed to 80%of the 96-h LC_(50) of *** latex(2.47 mg/L)for 96 *** assess the effects of long-term exposure,fish were exposed to 20%of the 96-h LC_(50) of *** latex(0.618 mg/L)for 28 *** were killed after 24,48,72 and 96 h(short-term experiments)or after 7,14,21 and 28 days(long-term experiments).Blood samples were collected and sera were analyzed to determine calcium and inorganic phosphate *** calcium levels decreased progressively in *** after 48 h exposure to *** *** decrease persisted until the end of the experiment(96 h).serum inorganic phosphate levels in treated fish decreased progressively from 72 *** 7 days exposure to *** latex,decreased serum calcium levels were noted in *** that persisted until the end of the *** phosphate levels were decreased in *** on days 21 and 28 of exposure to *** *** is concluded that *** latex alters the blood electrolyte content of the *** change in these electrolytes,particularly calcium levels,may cause dis.urbances in the normal vital physiological functions of the fish,its growth rate,and even its ability to survive in nature.

Non-small cell lung cancer(NsCLC)is often characterized by an underlying mutation in the epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR),contributing to aggressive metastatic *** 2-cyano-3,11-dioxo-18 beta-olean-1,12-dien-30-oate(CDODA-Me),a glycyrrhetinic acid derivative,reportedly improves the therapeutic response to erlotinib(ERL),an EGFR tyrosine kinase *** the present s.udy,we performed a series of s.udies to demonstrate the efficacy of CDODA-Me(2μM)in sensitizing HCC827 R(ERL-resistant)cells to ***,we first established the selectivity of ERL-induced drug resistance in the HCC827 R cells,which was sensitized when ERL was combined with CDODA-Me(2μM),shifting the IC50 from 23.48μM to 5.46μ***,whole transcriptomic microarray expression data demonstrated that the combination of ERL+CDODA-Me elicited 210 downregulated genes(0.44%of the whole transcriptome(WT))and 174 upregulated genes(0.36%of the WT),of which approximately 80%were unique to the ERL+CDODA-Me *** effects centered on losses to cell cycle progression transcripts,a reduction of minichromosome maintenance complex components(MCM2-7),all key components of the Cdc45·MCM2-7 GINs(CMG)complex,and replicative helicases;these effects were tantamount to the upregulation of processes associated with the nuclear factor erythroid 2 like 2 translational response to oxidative stress,including sulfiredoxin 1,heme oxygenase 1,and stress-induced growth inhibitor ***,these findings indicate that the synergistic therapeutic effects of ERL+CDODA-Me on resistant NsCLC cells are mediated via the inhibition of mitosis and induction of oxidative stress.

A simple, controlled, robust and scalable three-stage manufacturing process of Afatinib Dimaleate was assessed and optimized leading to improved yield and quality. The synthetic process involves sequence of reactions as nitro-reduction, amidation and salification. The developed and optimized route was demonstrated on 300 g scale with over all isolated yield of 84% for Afatinib free base. The developed process has the capability to control not only the process related impurities but also the degradation impurities. One new impurity was identified during the process development s.udies and characterized as acetamide impunity, chemically known as (s)-N-(4-((3-chloro-4-fluorophenyl) amino)-7-((tetrahydrofuran-3-yl) oxy) quinazolin-6-yl) acetamide. Other impurities were identified as degradation impurities, Process impurities and were labeled as 1-(4-((3-chloro-4-fluorophenyl) amino)-7-(((s)-tetrahydrofuran-3-yl) oxy) quinazoline-6-yl)-5-Hydroxypyrrolidin- 2-one (hydroxy impurity), Afatinib N-Oxide impurity and N4-(3-chloro-4-fluorophenyl)-7-[[(3s)-tetrahydro- 3-furanyl] oxy]-4,6-quinazolinediamine (Intermediate-1).

The cryptic lifestyle of most fungi necessitates molecular identification of the guild in environmental *** the past decades,rapid development and affordability of molecular tools have tremendously improved insights of the fungal diversity in all ecosystems and ***,in spite of the progress of molecular methods,knowledge about functional properties of the fungal taxa is vague and interpretation of environmental s.udies in an ecologically meaningful manner remains *** order to facilitate functional assignments and ecological interpretation of environmental s.udies we introduce a user friendly traits and character database FungalTraits operating at genus and species hypothesis *** the information from previous efforts such as FuNGuild and FunFun together with involvement of expert knowledge,we reannotated 10,210 and 151 fungal and stramenopila genera,*** resulted in a stand-alone spreadsheet dataset covering 17 lifestyle related traits of fungal and stramenopila genera,designed for rapid functional assignments of environmental *** order to assign the trait states to fungal species hypotheses,the scientific community of experts manually categorised and assigned available trait information to 697,413 fungal ITs *** the basis of those sequences we were able to summarise trait and host information into 92,623 fungal species hypotheses at 1%dissimilarity threshold.
