Phenylboronic acids can exist, in principle, in three different conformers （syn, syn; syn, anti and anti, anti） with distinct energy profiles. In their native state, these compounds prefer the energetically favored syn, anti-conformation. In molecular complexes, however, the functionality exhibits conformational diversity. In this paper we report a series of co-crystals, with N-donor compounds, prepared by a design strategy involving the synthons based on the syn, syn-conformation of the boronic acid functionality. For this purpose, we employed compounds with the 1,2-diazo fragment （alprazolam, 1H-tetrazole, acetazolamide and benzotriazole）, 1,10-phenanthroline and 2,2＇-bipyridine for the co-crystallization experiments. However, our study shows that the mere presence of the 1,2-diazo fragment in the coformer does not guarantee the successful formation of co-crystals with a syn, syn-conformation of the boronic acid.

Use of a buttering deposit on ferritic steel in dissimilar metal weld（DMW） joint is a common practice in nuclear plants to connect pressure vessel components（ferritic steel） to pipelines（austenitic stainless steel）.Carbon migration and metallurgical changes near fusion interface（ferritic steel–austenitic stainless steel） lead to a steeper gradient in material properties,and minimizing this gradient is the major challenge in the manufacturing of DMW *** 82 is often deposited on ferritic steel material as buttering to reducing the gradient of physical and attaining material *** 82/182 fillers are used to minimize the carbon migration,but the results are not truly *** this paper,Ni–Fe alloy（chromium-free） has been used as the intermediate buffer layer in the weld buttering deposit to address the issue of carbon migration and subsequent metallurgical *** weld pads with and without buffer layers of Ni–Fe alloy have been investigated and compared in detail for metallurgical properties and carbon ***–Fe buffer layer can significantly control the carbon migration which resists the metallurgical *** showed the better results in postweld heat treatment and thermally aged *** buttering deposit with Ni–Fe buffer layer could be the better choice for DMW joints requirements.

An easy, safe, solvent free and effective method for the synthesis of pyrazole-substituted chalcones has been achieved by grinding pyrazole aldehydes and acetophenones in the presence of activated barium hydroxide （C-200） in high yield within short span of time. All reactions were carried out just by grinding the two reactants in the presence of activated barium hydroxide （C-200）. Results are also compared with sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide.

Dermatological disorders have a huge psychosocial impact, causing significant impairment of patient’s life. Topical therapy plays a pivotal role in management of such *** topical delivery systems result in overmedication/undermedication, leading to adverse effects and reduction in therapeutic efficacy. Consequently, researchers have been striving towards the development of alternative delivery systems for dermatological applications. In the last decade, microsponges emerged as an attractive option for topical delivery. Their characteristic particle size offers enhanced benefits, making them superior to the contemporary microcarriers. The present review furnishes a comprehensive account of state of the art, important factors affecting the performance and mechanism of drug release from topically applied microsponges, along with characterization techniques. Further, a list of marketed products and their applications for common dermatological disorders has been presented. All in all, this paper is an attempt to lay a bibliographic foundation for researchers working in this field and foster further investigations in this arena.

Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing （OFDM）, a very promising technique that is leading the evolution in wireless mobile communication to sideline the bandwidth scarcity issue in spectrum allocation, is severely affected by the undesirable effects of the frequency offset error, which generates inter cartier interference （ICI） due to the Doppler shift and local oscillator frequency synchronization errors. There are many ICI cancellation techniques available in the literature, such as self-cancellation （SC）, maximum likelihood estimation （MLE）, and windowing, but they present a tradeoff between bandwidth redundancy and system complexity. In this study, a new energy-efficient, bandwidth-effective technique is proposed to mitigate ICI through cyclic prefix （CP） reuse at the receiver end. Unlike SC and MLE where the whole OFDM symbol data is transmitted in duplicate to create redundancy at the transmitter end, the proposed technique uses the CP data （which is only 20% of the total symbol bandwidth） to estimate the channel, and it produces similar results with a huge bandwidth saving. The simulation results show that the proposed technique has a significant improvement in error performance, and a comparative analysis demonstrates the substantial improvement in energy efficiency with high bandwidth gain. Therefore, it outperforms the legacy IC1 cancellation schemes under consideration.

To study the rpoB and katG gene mutation rate and its ***-sectional study methods were used to study Tuberculosis. A total of 45 sputum samples were collected from Annapurna Neurological Institute and Allied sciences. Then, acid fast bacilli staining were performed. Positive and negative samples were carried for conventional polymerase chain reaction identification and *** of 45 samples, 3 were acid fast bacilli positive and the rest were negative. Male participants were more as compare to female participants and the mutation in rpoB and katG gene was found similar i.e. 6.66% among the total *** can conclude that genetic mutation in Mycobacterium tuberculosis can be identified directly from the clinical samples. However, we have carried this study in less sample size and to validate research on large number of sample is recommended.
