This study analyzes change in carbon storage by applying forest growth models and final cutting age to actual and potential forest cover for six major tree species in South Korea. Using National Forest Inventory data, the growth models were developed to estimate mean diameter at breast height, tree height, and number of trees for Pinus densiflora, Pinus koraiensis, Pinus rigida, Larix kaernpferi, Castanea crenata and Quercus spp. stands. We assumed that actual forest cover in a forest type map will change into potential forest covers according to the Hydrological and Thermal Analogy Groups model. When actual forest cover reaches the final cutting age, forest volume and carbon storage are estimated by changed forest cover and its growth model. Forest volume between 2010 and 2110 would increase from 126.73 to 157.33 m^3 hm^-2. Our results also show that forest cover, volume, and carbon storage could abruptly change by 2060. This is attributed to the fact that most forests are presumed to reach final cutting age. To avoid such dramatic change, a regeneration and yield control scheme should be prepared and implemented in a way that ensures balance in forest practice and yield.

AIM: To present a simple colonoscopy reporting system that can be checked easily the detection rate of colon ***: A simple colonoscopy reporting system Kosin Gastroenterology(KG quality reporting system) was developed. The polyp detection rate(PDR),adenoma detection rate(ADR),serrated polyp detection rate(SDR),and advanced adenoma detection rate(AADR) are easily calculated to use this ***: In our gastroenterology center,the PDR,ADR,SDR,and AADR test results from each gastroenterologist were updated,every month. Between June 2014,when the program was started,and December 2014,the overall PDR and ADR in our center were 62.5% and 41.4%,respectively. And the overall SDR and AADR were 7.5% and 12.1%,***: We envision that KG quality reporting system can be applied to develop a comprehensive system to check colon polyp detection rates in other gastroenterology centers.

The least-squares meshfree method (LSMFM), which is based on the first-order least-squares formulation and the moving least-squares approximation, is robust to integration errors [1-3]. Therefore inaccurate integration cells resulting in the integration error within moderate range can be effectively employed in LSMFM. However, in Galerkin meshfree methods accurate integration is required to catch the full theoretical aspects such as the theoretical rate of convergence and reproducing condition, etc. Thus most Galerkin meshfree methods have used element-like cells for integration purpose. The feature that LSMFM gives a reliable solution without element-like cells is of great importance since the construction of inaccurate cells such as quadtree cells or Voronoi cells is much easier than that of element-like cells. Moreover, its robustness to integration errors would make it possible to avoid even those extrinsic cells, and it could be reminded that the meshfree approximation has its own intrinsic cells, i.e. the nodal supports.
