This paper addresses a multi-agent scheduling problem with uniform parallel machines owned by a resource agent and competing jobs with dynamic arrival times that belong to different consumer *** agents are self-interested and rational with the aim of maximizing their own objectives,resulting in intense resource competition among consumer agents and strategic behaviors of unwillingness to disclose private *** the context,a centralized scheduling approach is unfeasible,and a decentralized approach is considered to deal with the targeted *** study aims to generate a stable and collaborative solution with high social welfare while simultaneously accommodating consumer agents’preferences under incomplete *** this purpose,a dynamic iterative auction-based approach based on a decentralized decision-making procedure is *** the proposed approach,a dynamic auction procedure is established for dynamic jobs participating in a realtime auction,and a straightforward and easy-to-implement bidding strategy without price is presented to reduce the complexity of bid *** addition,an adaptive Hungarian algorithm is applied to solve the winner determination problem efficiently.A theoretical analysis is conducted to prove that the proposed approach is individually rational and that the myopic bidding strategy is a weakly dominant strategy for consumer agents submitting *** computational experiments demonstrate that the developed approach achieves high-quality solutions and exhibits considerable stability on largescale problems with numerous consumer agents and jobs.A further multi-agent scheduling problem considering multiple resource agents will be studied in future work.

Artificial lung membranes as the core module of the extracorporeal membrane oxygenation technology(ECMO)execute the function of extracorporeal blood-gas barrier accomplishing CO_(2)/O_(2)exchange with ***,the unsatisfactory hemocompatibility and difficulty in functionalization are the promi-nent challenges faced by current artificial lung membrane *** this study,polyethersulfone(PES)composite membranes with self-anticoagulant property and high gas exchange efficient are fabricated by blending PES matrix with poly(vinylamine)(PVAm)modified carboxylic carbon nanotubes(mCNTs)and citrate-based poly(octamethylene-citrate)(POC)*** mCNTs construct specific gas transfer channels within the composite membranes to enhance the gas permeability,while the POC pre-polymers provide anticoagulant property based on the chelation to blood Ca^(2+)and the inactivation effect to in-trinsic coagulation ***,directed by the actual ECMO gas exchange mode,we design a gas-liquid convectional circulation device that could evaluate gas exchange efficiency for the composite membranes under mimetic ECMO ***,this strategy not only proposes a new design method of advanced artificial lung membranes to solve the practical challenges in the current ECMO technology,but also establishes a scientific testing method to evaluate the gas exchange performance for new-type artificial lung membrane materials in the future.

Learning Bayesian network structure with immune algorithm

Finding out reasonable structures from bulky data is one of the difficulties in modeling of Bayesian network （BN）, which is also necessary in promoting the application of BN. This pa- per proposes an immune algorithm based method （BN-IA） for the learning of the BN structure with the idea of vaccination. Further- more, the methods on how to extract the effective vaccines from local optimal structure and root nodes are also described in details. Finally, the simulation studies are implemented with the helicopter convertor BN model and the car start BN model. The comparison results show that the proposed vaccines and the BN-IA can learn the BN structure effectively and efficiently.

A decomposition approach to job-shop scheduling problem with discretely controllable processing times

Job-shop scheduling problem with discretely controllable processing times (JSP-DCPT) is modeled based on the disjunctive graph, and the formulation of JSP-DCPT is presented. A three-step decomposition approach is proposed so that JSP-DCPT can be handled by solving a job-shop scheduling problem (JSP) and a series of discrete time-cost tradeoff problems. To simplify the decomposition approach, the time-cost phase plane is introduced to describe tradeoffs of the discrete time-cost tradeoff problem, and an extreme mode-based set dominant theory is elaborated so that an upper bound is determined to cut discrete time-cost tradeoff problems generated by using the proposed decomposition approach. An extreme mode-based set dominant decomposition algorithm (EMSDDA) is then proposed. Experimental simulations for instance JSPDCPT_FT10, which is designed based on a JSP benchmark FT10, demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed theory and the decomposition approach.

Integrated importance measure for multi-state coherent systems of k level

To verify the effectiveness of the integrated importance measure （IIM） for multi-state coherent systems of k level, the definition and physical meaning of IIM are demonstrated. Then, the improvement potential and Δ-importance measures are generalized to multi-state coherent systems based on the system performance level, and the relationships between IIM and traditional importance measures are discussed. The characteristics of IIM are demonstrated in both series and parallel systems. Also, an application to an oil transportation system is given. The comparison results show that：（i） IIM has some useful properties that are not possessed by traditional importance measures; （ii） IIM is effective in evaluating the component role in multi-state systems when the component reliability and the failure rate are simultaneously considered.

Multi-EAP: Extended EAP for multi-estimate extraction for SMC-PHD filter

The ability to extract state-estimates for each target of a multi-target posterior, referred to as multi-estimate extraction（MEE）, is an essential requirement for a multi-target filter, whose key performance assessments are based on accuracy, computational efficiency and reliability. The probability hypothesis density（PHD） filter, implemented by the sequential Monte Carlo approach,affords a computationally efficient solution to general multi-target filtering for a time-varying number of targets, but leaves no clue for optimal MEE. In this paper, new data association techniques are proposed to distinguish real measurements of targets from clutter, as well as to associate particles with measurements. The MEE problem is then formulated as a family of parallel singleestimate extraction problems, facilitating the use of the classic expected a posteriori（EAP） estimator, namely the multi-EAP（MEAP） estimator. The resulting MEAP estimator is free of iterative clustering computation, computes quickly and yields accurate and reliable estimates. Typical simulation scenarios are employed to demonstrate the superiority of the MEAP estimator over existing methods in terms of faster processing speed and better estimation accuracy.

Importance measure of system reliability upgrade for multi-state consecutive k-out-of-n systems

Importance measures in reliability systems are used to identify weak components in contributing to a proper function of the system. Traditional importance measures mainly concerned the changing value of the system reliability caused by the change of the reliability of the component, and seldom considered the joint effect of the probability distribution, improvement rate of the object component. This paper studies the rate of the system reliability upgrading with an improvement of the component reliability for the multi-state consecutive k-out-of-n system. To verify the multi-state consecutive k-out-of-n system reliability upgrading by improving one component based on its improvement rate, an increasing potential importance （IPI） and its physical meaning are described at first. Secondly, the relationship between the IPI and Birnbaum importance measures are discussed. And the IPI for some different improvement actions of the component is further discussed. Thirdly, the characteristics of the IPI are analyzed. Finally, an application to an oil pipeline system is given.

Multi-functional polyethersulfone nanofibrous membranes with ultra-high adsorption capacity and ultra-fast removal rates for dyes and bacteria

The adsorption technology has been widely applied in water remediation for contamination removal of dyes and bacteria,by virtue of the advantages of adsorption technology including high efficiency,energy conservation and ease of *** removal of dyes and bacteria has been realized by some reported materials,but to achieve satisfactory adsorption amounts and rates remain an unmet goal for ***,a poly(methacrylatoethyl trimethyl ammonium chloride-co-methyl methacrylate)copolymer was synthesized,and then blended with polyethersulfone for the fabrication of nanofibrous membranes via electrospinning for the use of fast and massive removal of dyes and *** to the introduction of abundant quaternary ammonium groups,the maximum adsorption amount for methyl orange was up to 909.8 mg g^(-1).In addition,the modified nanofibrous membranes showed good recyclability,broad applications in severe environments,selective adsorption ability,and excellent dynamic removal ***,thanks to the abundant functional groups,the membranes showed fast adsorption ability for bacteria through electrostatic *** should be noted that the clearance ratio for Staphylococcus aureus or Escherichia coli by 6 min of static adsorption could reach 93%or 90%for ***,dynamic removal ratio via filtration with the nanofibrous membranes could reach 99.7%for Staphylococcus aureus or 98.7%for Escherichia coli in 90 ***,the proposed approach towards the quaternary ammonium modified polyethersulfone nanofibrous membranes creates a new route for ultra-high adsorption capacity and ultra-fast removal rates for dyes and bacteria in water remediation.

在考虑用户互为竞争对手、不愿共享其目标的情况下,用户与车间共同组成调度决策群体,形成代理目标为私有信息的多代理作业车间调度问题。以最大化群体社会福利为优化目标,构建了多代理作业车间调度问题的数学模型。设计了遗传进化-评分决策两阶段协商调度机制,并提出了相应的两阶段协商调度算法。在不披露代理目标的前提下,遗传进化阶段采用帕累托优化排序算法,生成非支配调度方案集;评分决策阶段采用基于效用的线性转换评分算法,实现从非支配方案集中选出社会福利较优的调度方案。大量仿真研究表明,所提遗传进化-评分决策两阶段协商调度算法,其整体性能优于现有协商调度算法,能够产生社会福利更高的调度方案。

An empirical analysis on factors influencing ecological migration in minority areas of China

Taking Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region as an example, this research makes an empirical analysis on the factors influencing the migration activities of the research subject: the southern mountainous farmers who don't emigrate and the farmers who immigrated in Hongsibao Development Zone. With Probit Model, the research shows that the age, educational degree, farming land per capita, number of school-aged children, vocational training experience and the quantity of gained information are all the factors which influence the farmers' emigration choice. However, the influential strength of the factors is different. The research aims to provide the government with more scientific evidences for its policies of promoting ecological migration and to encourage more poverty families to immigrate into the areas suitable for living.
