BMPR2 and HIF1-α overexpression in resected osteosarcoma correlates with distant metastasis and patient survival

Objective： Bone morphogenetic protein receptor 2（BMPR2） and hypoxia-inducible factor 1-α（HIF1-α） existed abnormal expression in several types of cancer. However, their expressions and related roles in osteosarcoma are largely ***：To investigate the clinical significance of BMPR2 and HIF1-αin osteosarcoma,we analyzed their expression levels in 103 osteosarcoma specimens by ***,we conducted a follow-up to examine the metastatic behavior and overall survival（OS）of osteosarcoma ***：Among 103 tissues,61 cases had BMPR2-positive expression and 57 cases had HIF1-αpositive expression.A significant correlation was noticed between BMPR2 and HIF1-αexpression in osteosarcoma specimens（P=0.035）.Receiver-operating characteristic（ROC）curves were calculated to investigate the predictive value of the two markers in tumor *** means of univariate and multivariate analysis,BMPR2 and HIF1-αexpression,as well as higher tumor grade,were identified as significant risk factors for OS in patients with ***-Meier survival analysis revealed that the patients with BMPR2 and HIF1-αpositive expression had worse OS compared with patients with BMPR2-negative or HIF1-α-negative ***：It can be concluded that BMPR2 and HIF1-αexpression is highly correlated with metastatic behavior in patients with osteosarcoma and can serve as predictive markers for metastasis and OS of these patients.

Sm(CoFeCuZr)zsintered permanent magnet has been attracting a great deal of attention by virtue of its high-temperature magnetic properties,low temperature coefficient and good corrosion and oxidation *** microstructures and magnetic properties of Sm(Co_(ba1)Fe_(0.245)Cu_(0.07)Zr_(0.02))_(7.8)sintered permanent magnet prepared by a traditional powder metallurgy method were *** magnetic properties,especially the maximum magnetic energy product,(BH)max,were obtained through adjusting solution-treated *** solution-treated temperature increasing from 1155 to 1195℃,remanence(Br)almost keeps constant and knee point coercivity(Hk),magnetic induction coercivity(H_(cb))and(B_(H))maxfirst increase and then *** intrinsic coercivity(H_(cj))of magnet solution-treated at 1195℃is 738 kA·m^(-1),which is less than 2/5 that of magnet solution-treated at 1183℃(>1927 kA·m^(-1)).The reason that magnet solution-treated at 1195℃shows lower Hcjthan magnet solution-treated at 1183℃is considered to be mainly related to the fact that there are a lot of cells with abnormally small *** addition,the lattice constant of Sm(Co_(bal)Fe_(0.245)Cu_(0.07)Zr_(0.02))_(7.8)sintered permanent magnet solution-treated at 1195℃,given by indexing highresolution transition electron microscope(HRTEM)results,is considered to be related to the formation of cells with abnormally small size which decreases H_(cj).

The effect of spatial temperature gradient on the microstructural evolution of a 308L stainless steel during the directed energy deposition(DED)process was experimentally investigated.A novel cooling system was designed and incorporated to a DED system in order to control the temperature gradient along the deposition direction during *** deposition,the workpiece was placed on a lifting platform,and as the deposition process proceeded,the platform and workpiece were gradually lowered into cooling water so that the temperature gradient along the deposition direction could be controlled and maintained stable during the deposition *** microstructure characterization results indicated that a deposition strategy with higher G and G/R values(where G is temperature gradient and R is solidification rate)produced finer cellular grains that were better aligned with the deposition direction,while a deposition strategy with lower G and G/R values produced columnar grains with larger primary arm spacing and less aligned with the deposition direction.

A geometric analysis technique for crystal growth and microstructure development in single-crystal welds had been previously *** the effect of welding conditions on the tendency of stray grains formation during solidification was *** the present work,these analytical methods were further *** with an original vectorization method,a 3D Rosenthal solution was used to determine thermal conditions of the ***,the dendrite growth orientation,the dendrite growth velocity and the thermal gradient along dendrite direction were calculated and lively ***,the tendency of stray grains formation in the solidification front was forecasted and its distribution was presented with a 3D *** results indicate that substrate orientation has some impacts on the crystal growth pattern,dendrite growth velocity,distribution of thermal gradient and stray *** on the research methods proposed in this work,any substrate crystallographic orientation can be studied,and predicted stray grains distribution can be visualized.

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) operate in complex and harshenvironments;thus, node faults are inevitable. Therefore, fault diagnosis ofthe WSNs node is essential. Affected by the harsh working environment ofWSNs and wireless data transmission, the data collected by WSNs containnoisy data, leading to unreliable data among the data features extracted duringfault diagnosis. To reduce the influence of unreliable data features on faultdiagnosis accuracy, this paper proposes a belief rule base (BRB) with a selfadaptivequality factor (BRB-SAQF) fault diagnosis model. First, the datafeatures required for WSN node fault diagnosis are extracted. Second, thequality factors of input attributes are introduced and calculated. Third, themodel inference process with an attribute quality factor is designed. Fourth,the projection covariance matrix adaptation evolution strategy (P-CMA-ES)algorithm is used to optimize the model’s initial parameters. Finally, the effectivenessof the proposed model is verified by comparing the commonly usedfault diagnosis methods for WSN nodes with the BRB method consideringstatic attribute reliability (BRB-Sr). The experimental results show that BRBSAQFcan reduce the influence of unreliable data features. The self-adaptivequality factor calculation method is more reasonable and accurate than thestatic attribute reliability method.

BACKGROUND Hem-o-Lok clip(HOLC)has been widely used in laparoscopic surgery due to its ease of application and secure clamping,though the rare complications associated with this technique should not be *** rare complications of laparoscopic partial nephrectomy consist of the clip migrating into the renal pelvis and acting as a nidus for stone *** SUMMARY The case described here involved a 63-year-old woman who was found with stones in the right kidney and upper ureter during a recent reexamination following laparoscopic partial *** performed percutaneous nephrolithotomy for her,but during the operation,it was found that the center of the stone within the kidney was a HOLC,which was removed with *** this reason,we speculate that the HOLC,which was employed to halt tumor wound bleeding,spontaneously drifted into the renal pelvis and formed kidney stones,with the clip being initially misdiagnosed as a kidney *** By reviewing related case reports,we conclude that in order to prevent complications related to HOLC,loose clips should be actively searched for and retrieved from the wound during urinary tract surgery,while the deployment of clips in close proximity of anastomotic stoma of collecting systems should be avoided.

SeS_(2) has become a promising cathode material owing to its enhanced electrical conductivity over sulfur and higher theoretical specific capacity than selenium;however,the working Li-SeS_(2) batteries have to face the practical challenges from the severe shuttling of soluble dual intermediates of polysulfide and polyselenide,especially in high-SeS_(2)-loading ***,a natural organic polymer,Nicandra physaloides pectin(NPP),is proposed to serve as an effective polysulfide/polyselenide captor to address the shuttling *** by theoretical calculations,NPP is competent to provide a Lewis base-based strong binding interaction with polysulfides/polyselenides via forming lithium bonds,and it can be homogeneously deposited onto a three-dimensional double-carbon conductive scaffold to finally constitute a polysulfide/polyselenide-immobilizing *** spectroscopy analysis validates the enhanced polysulfide/polyselenide trapping and high conversion efficiency on the constructed interlayer,hence bestowing the Li-SeS_(2) cells with ultrahigh rate capability(448 mAh g^(−1)at 10 A g^(−1)),durable cycling lifespan(≈0.037%capacity attenuation rate per cycle),and high areal capacity(>6.5 mAh cm^(−2))at high SeS_(2) loading of 15.4 mg cm^(−2).Importantly,pouch cells assembled with this interlayer exhibit excellent flexibility,decent rate capability with relatively low electrolyte-to-capacity ratio,and stable cycling life even under a low electrolyte condition,promising a low-cost,viable design protocol toward practical Li-SeS_(2) batteries.

Sm(Co_(bal)Fe_(0.245)Cu_(0.07)Zr_(0.02))7.8(at%)sintered magnets with high remanence(B_(r)~1.15 T)were prepared using a traditional powder metallurgy *** magnetic properties,especially intrinsic coercivity(H_(cj)),were obtained through adjusting isothermal procedure parameters.H_(cj)of the magnets increases from 305 to 752 kA·m^(-1)with isothermal annealing time increasing from 3 to 20 h,while B_(r) of the magnets almost keeps *** the bright field transmission electron microscopy(TEM)images,it is found that:(1)there is dispersed precipitated phase with very small size in the magnet annealed for 3 h,while the magnets annealed for 20 h have distinct and intact cellular structure;(2)the number density of Z-phase in magnet annealed for 20 h is bigger than that for 3 ***,the finer microstructures were studied with high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM).
