Areca catechu,is a species of palm belonging to the family of Arecaceae/Palmae,grows vertically,to the height of 10 m to 20 m,the stem is straight,solitary and slender,10 cm to 15 cm in diameter,with marks of annulated scars of fallen leaf *** fibres are predominantly extracted not only from the fruit as areca husk,but also from leaf stalks and *** this review paper,areca fibre is compared with those of other representative species of the Arecaceae/Palmae family,such as the coconut tree and the palm tree,in terms of physical and mechanical *** review article also discusses the physical,mechanical and thermal properties of areca fibre and its *** review of known published data reveals that,while areca fibre has the potential to be used as an alternative reinforcement in polymer ***,it has been also noticed that some other species from the family of Arecaceae/Palmae have not been explored as natural fibre reinforcement in polymer composites either,thus revealing further options of natural alternative reinforcement to be investigated with regard to their potential to be used in fibre based composites for the automotive,aerospace,and construction industries.

Communication in society had developed within cultural and geographical boundaries prior to the invention of digital *** latest advancements in communication technology have significantly surpassed the conventional constraints for communication with regards to time and *** new platforms have ushered in a new age of user-generated content,online chats,social network and comprehensive data on individual ***,the abuse of communication software such as social media websites,online communities,and chats has resulted in a new kind of online hostility and aggressive *** to widespread use of the social networking platforms and technological gadgets,conventional bullying has migrated from physical form to online,where it is termed as ***,recently the digital technologies as machine learning and deep learning have been showing their efficiency in identifying linguistic patterns used by cyberbullies and cyberbullying detection *** this research paper,we aimed to evaluate shallow machine learning and deep learning methods in cyberbullying detection *** deployed three deep and six shallow learning algorithms for cyberbullying detection *** results show that bidirectional long-short-term memory is the most efficient method for cyberbullying detection,in terms of accuracy and recall.

Twitter is a radiant platform with a quick and effective technique to analyze users’perceptions of activities on social *** researchers and industry experts show their attention to Twitter sentiment analysis to recognize the stakeholder *** sentiment analysis needs an advanced level of approaches including adoption to encompass data sentiment analysis and various machine learning *** assessment of sentiment analysis in multiple fields that affect their elevations among the people in real-time by using Naive Bayes and support Vector Machine(sVM).This paper focused on analysing the distinguished sentiment techniques in tweets behaviour datasets for various spheres such as healthcare,behaviour estimation,*** addition,the results in this work explore and validate the statistical machine learning classifiers that provide the accuracy percentages attained in terms of positive,negative and neutral *** this work,we obligated Twitter Application Programming Interface(API)account and programmed in python for sentiment analysis approach for the computational measure of user’s perceptions that extract a massive number of tweets and provide market value to the Twitter account *** distinguish the results in terms of the performance evaluation,an error analysis investigates the features of various stakeholders comprising social media analytics researchers,Natural Language Processing(NLP)developers,engineering managers and experts involved to have a decision-making approach.

Can Left Pleural Effusion Be an Indicator of Gastric Leaks after Laparoscopic sleeve Gastrectomy?

strong>Background:strong> Coincidental pleural effusion has been observed by computed tomography (CT) scans in individual patients with gastric leaks after laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy;however, the frequency of this phenomenon has not been investigated in cohort studies. strong>Objectives:strong> This study aimed to assess the diagnostic accuracy of left pleural effusion as an indicator of gastric leaks after laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy. strong>setting:strong> University hospital and bariatric surgery center of excellence. strong>Methods:strong> This single-center retrospective analysis included consecutive patients who had undergone laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy followed by CT scans to investigate suspected gastric leaks from september 2011 to september 2018. The sensitivity, specificity, Youden’s index, and predictive values were estimated using a 2 × 2 cross-tabulation. strong>Results:strong> The study involved assessing the CT scans of 148 patients;80 patients (44 men and 36 women, mean age: 34 years, mean body mass index {BMI}: 46 kg/msup>2sup>) had positive findings of gastric leaks after laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, such as contrast leak, gas leak, and peri-gastric collection (either singly or in combination). The CT findings were negative for gastric leaks in 68 patients (38 men and 30 women, mean age: 33 years, mean BMI: 45 kg/msup>2sup>). Pleural effusion manifested as a fluid density in the dependent portion of pleural cavity on CT. The sensitivity of left pleural effusion to predict gastric leaks after laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy was 73.8%, and the specificity was 91.2%. The positive and negative predictive values were 90.8% and 74.7%, respectively, and the Youden’s index was 64.9%. strong>Conclusion:strong> Left pleural effusion exhibits good diagnostic accuracy for gastric leaks after laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy. Notably, the specificity (91.2%) was very high.

Disaster scenarios are constructed by integrating natural hazard phenomena and social science sources of *** profiled 51 natural hazard events of nineteenth century Kashmir that provide insights into the impacts of varying degree of severity that spread through the socioeconomic and political systems,influenced adaptation,and increased the consequences of the resulting *** root cause of these disasters was embedded in the social,natural,and political economic systems of their time,where vulnerabilities overlapped and interacted periodically with successive colonial regimes and acted as tipping *** combined effect of successive colonial regimes,inept administration,rigid political economy,and natural hazards made the situation go from bad to worse and reduced Kashmir to the depths of distress and *** the arc of the nineteenth century,a series of disasters led the Kashmiri population to learn how to live with disasters and minimize risk,bringing about the evolution of social and environmental *** the natural hazard vulnerability of the Kashmir Valley through archival narratives can help in scenario building to translate findings into formats that reduce related risk now as it did *** resulting information can be useful for regional design,planning,and policy responses to promote disaster risk reduction.

Brain tumors pose a significant threat to human lives and have gained increasing attention as the tenth leading cause of global *** study addresses the pressing issue of brain tumor classification using Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).It focuses on distinguishing between Low-Grade Gliomas(LGG)and High-Grade Gliomas(HGG).LGGs are benign and typically manageable with surgical resection,while HGGs are malignant and more *** research introduces an innovative custom convolutional neural network(CNN)model,*** stands out as a lightweight CNN model compared to its *** research utilized the BraTs 2020 dataset for its *** with the gradient-boosting algorithm,GliomaCNN has achieved an impressive accuracy of 99.1569%.The model’s interpretability is ensured through sHapley Additive exPlanations(sHAP)and Gradient-weighted Class Activation Mapping(Grad-CAM++).They provide insights into critical decision-making regions for classification *** challenges in identifying tumors in images without visible signs,the model demonstrates remarkable performance in this critical medical application,offering a promising tool for accurate brain tumor diagnosis which paves the way for enhanced early detection and treatment of brain tumors.

Pakistan and the BRICs Plus in the New Era:A Perspective of Neo-Functionalism

China proposed the idea of‘BRICs Plus’in ***,this hint exasperated India owing to its diverse political and strategic ***,the reason for India’s disapproval relates to a probable role for Pakistan through the BRICs ***,in the backdrop is China’s progress on regional integration through the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI)and the significance extended to the China Pakistan Economic Corridor(CPEC).In fact,inimical impulses for Pakistan were also felt when India attempted to label Pakistan as a country‘promoting state-sponsored terrorism’through a BRICs summit held in Goa in 2016;the move was later vetoed both by China and ***,India’s bilateral relations with China also lacked synergy,which sometimes impact their interaction within the BRICs *** viewed through the Neo-Functionalism framework and its concept of‘spill-over,’BRICs plus can reinforce incentives of cooperation in various sectors within a larger group of *** groups will begin to flourish at a regional level and domestically these groups will lobby their governments to further *** will be overall critical for BRICs in order to steadily engage the world order as a multilateral *** question is,will India let go of bilateralism and accept the role of regional countries,particularly Pakistan?This article intends to explore the very concept of the transregional organisation of BRICs and the impact of the nature of relations between India and *** also illustrates how states in the region,specifically Pakistan,have an intrinsic potential to complement the transregional agenda of BRICs and BRICs plus,particularly through its strategic geographic location and *** the persistent rise of BRICs,members will have to let go of bilateralism and allow the countries on the periphery to play their role.
