Inelastic Scattering of Dark Matter with Heavy Cosmic Rays

We investigate the impact of inelastic collisions between dark matter(DM)and heavy cosmic ray(CR)nucle. on CR *** approximate the fragmentation cross-sections for DM-CR collisions using collider-measured proton-nucle. scattering cross-sections,allowing us to assess how these collisions affect the spectra of CR boron and *** derive new CR spectra from DM-CR collisions by incorporating their cross-sections into the source terms and solving the diffusion equation for the comple.e network of reactions involved in generating secondary *** a specific example.with a coupling strength of b_(χ)=0.1 and a DM mass of m_(χ)=0.1 GeV,considering a simplified scenario where DM interacts exclusively with oxygen,a notable.modification in the boron-to-carbon spectrum due to the DM-CR interaction is ***,the peak within the spectrum,spanning from 0.1 to 10 GeV,experiences an enhancement of approximately 1.5 ***,in a more realistic scenario where DM particle. interact with all CRs,this peak can be amplified to twice its original *** the latest data from AMS-02 and DAMPE on the boron-to-carbon ratio,we estimate a 95%upper limit for the effective inelastic cross-section of DM-proton as a function of DM *** findings reveal that at m_(χ)?2 MeV,the effective inelastic cross-section between DM and protons must be le.s than O(10^(-32))cm^(2).

There are many types of radar active deception false target jamming that are highly correlated with the real *** the real and false targets under a low Signal-to-Noise Ratio(SNR)is *** solve the above proble.,this article.proposes a real/false target recognition method based on the features of multi-pulse joint frequency response by analyzing the differences in the scattering characteristics and modeling real target echoes as a synthesis of multi-scattering center ***,in the range-dopple. domain,the real and false targets are truncated along the range dimension,and a fast Fourier transform is performed to extract the features of multi-pulse joint frequency ***,a two-channel feature fusion network is designed for real and false target ***,a Multi-Coherent Processing Interval Joint Decision Method(M-CPIJDM)based on temporal information is proposed to improve the recognition *** using the measured data show that the proposed method can well recognize real and false target signals under four jamming backgrounds:distance false target,velocity false target,distance-velocity composite false target,and forwarding dense false target.

Laser anti-drone technology is entering the sequence of actual combat,and it is necessary to consider the vulnerability of typical functional parts of *** the concept of"vulnerability"was proposed,a variety of analysis programs for battle.ield targets to traditional weapons have been developed,but a comprehensive assessment methodology for targets'vulnerability to laser is still *** on the shotline method,this paper proposes a method that equates laser beam to shotline array,an efficient vulnerability analysis program of target to laser is established by this method,and the program includes the circuit board and the wire into the vulnerability analysis category,which improves the precision of the vulnerability *** the UAV engine part as the target of vulnerability analysis,combine with the"life-death unit method"to calculate the laser penetration rate of various materials of the UAV,and the influence of laser weapon system parameters and striking orientation on the killing probability is quantified after introducing the penetration rate into the vulnerability analysis *** quantitative analysis method proposed in this paper has certain general expansibility,which can provide a fresh idea for the vulnerability analysis of other targets to laser.

Performance Design of High-Temperature Chloride Salts as Thermal Energy Storage Material

The chloride salts have great potential used as high-temperature thermal energy storage(TES) medium for the concentrated solar power *** this study,LiCl,KCl and CaCl_(2) were sele.ted as energy storage materials in order to further broaden the working temperature of ternary chloride salt and improve its energy storage *** new high-temperature energy storage ternary chloride composed of LiCl,KCl,and CaCl_(2) was developed based on the phase diagram generated by *** components of LiCl-KCl-CaCl_(2) with the mass ratio of 37.85%-53.38%-8.77%,30.90%-13.82%-55.28% and 1.78%-18.61%-79.61% were developed,of which the corresponding melting temperature(T_(m)) 340.93,433.57 and 626.85℃,respectively,was obtained *** that T_(m) of the third group of salts was too high,only the first two groups of salts were *** test showed that the actual melting point was only 0.46% and 1.64% different from the melting point predicted by *** thermal properties of the two ternary chloride salts were also *** solid and liquid-specific heat of ternary salts was determined by DSC using sapphire as the standard *** vapor pressure and decomposition temperature of ternary chloride salts were *** results showed that the vapor pressure of salt 1 was almost constant below 650℃ by ***,the TG results showed that the upper working temperature of salt 1 was 650℃ under the air *** addition,the ternary chloride salts after short-term cycling still exhibited excelle.t thermal properties,which reveale. that these good thermal properties make them have broad application prospects in high-temperature thermal energy storage systems.

Rock mass quality prediction on tunnel faces with incomple.e multi-source dataset via tree-augmented naive Bayesian network

Rock mass quality serves as a vital index for predicting the stability and safety status of rock tunnel *** tunneling practice,the rock mass quality is often assessed via a combination of qualitative and quantitative ***,due to the harsh on-site construction conditions,it is rather difficult to obtain some of the evaluation parameters which are essential for the rock mass quality *** this study,a novel improved Swin Transformer is proposed to detect,segment,and quantify rock mass characteristic parameters such as water le.kage,fractures,weak *** site experiment results demonstrate that the improved Swin Transformer achieves optimal segmentation results and achieving accuracies of 92%,81%,and 86%for water le.kage,fractures,and weak interlayers,respectively.A multisource rock tunnel face characteristic(RTFC)dataset includes 11 parameters for predicting rock mass quality is *** the limitations in predictive performance of incomple.e evaluation parameters exist in this dataset,a novel tree-augmented naive Bayesian network(BN)is proposed to address the challe.ge of the incomple.e dataset and achieved a prediction accuracy of 88%.In comparison with other commonly used Machine le.rning models the proposed BN-based approach proved an improved performance on predicting the rock mass quality with the incomple.e *** utilizing the established BN,a further sensitivity analysis is conducted to quantitatively evaluate the importance of the various parameters,results indicate that the rock strength and fractures parameter exert the most significant influence on rock mass quality.
