Graphology-based handwriting analysis to identify human behavior,irrespective of applications,is *** existing methods that use characters,words and sentences for behavioural analysis with human intervention,we propose an automatic method by analysing a few handwritten English lowercase characters from a to z to identify person *** proposed method extracts structural features,such as loops,slants,cursive,straight lines,stroke thickness,contour shapes,aspect ratio and other geometrical properties,from different zones of isolated character images to derive the hypothesis based on a dictionary of Graphological *** derived hypothesis has the ability to categorise the personal,positive,and negative social aspects of an *** evaluate the proposed method,an automatic system is developed which accepts characters from a to z written by different individuals across different genders and age *** automatic privacy projected system is available on the website(http://***).For quantitative evaluation of the proposed method,several people are requested to use the system to check their characteristics with the system automatic response based on his/her handwriting by choosing to agree or disagree *** automatic system receives 5300 responses from the users,for which,the proposed method achieves 86.70%accuracy.

A theoretical analysis of the growth process of an organism and its dependence on various allometric relations

A new mathematical model regarding the growth process of an organism is proposed, based on the role of surplus power (i.e. power intake minus metabolic cost) and having an allometric dependence on mass. Considering its use in growth, a differential equation has been formed, similar to the von Bertalanffy growth function (VBGF). The time dependence of mass and growth rate, obtained from this equation, has been shown graphically to illustrate the roles played by scaling exponents and other parameters. Concepts of optimum mass, saturation mass and the mass corresponding to the highest growth rate have been discussed under the proposed theoretical framework. Information regarding the dependence of effective growth duration on various parameters has been found graphically. The time of occurrence of the highest growth rate and its dependence on various parameters have been explored graphically. A new parameter (ρ) has been defined, which determines the availability of surplus power at different stages of the growth process of an organism. Depending on its value, there can be three distinctly different modes of growth phenomenon, reflected in the change of surplus power with time. The variations of growth and reproduction efficiencies with time and mass have been shown for different values of the scaling exponent. The limitation regarding the practical measurement of growth rate has been discussed using the present model. Some aspects of length-biomass allometry have been explored theoretically and the results have been depicted graphically.

Marcus-Gunn Jaw Winking Syndrome and Gustatory Sweating in Long Standing Poorly Controlled Diabetes: A Case Report

Introduction: Marcus Gunn jaw winking syndrome (MGJWS) is a rare congenital disorder belonging to the synkinetic eye movement group of disorders observed in children. It occurrence in adults and patients with diabetes has not been reported. Material and Methods: A 64 year man with poorly controlled diabetes of 18 years presented with 3 month history of jaw winking on the left side along with gustatory sweating, which was managed conservatively. There was spontaneous improvement in jaw wink at 4 months of follow up. Conclusions: Acquired causes of MGJWS are not known. This is probably the first report of this syndrome occurring at such a late age. Long standing poorly controlled diabetes may have had some role in the development of jaw winking in this patient.
