Interactive effect of thermal aging and proton irradiation on microstructural evolution and hardening ofδ-ferrite in 308L stainless steel weld metal

In the harsh service environment of high temperature and intense neutron irradiation in water-cooled nuclear reactors,the austenitic stainless steel weld overlay cladding on the inner surface of the reactor pressure vessel suffers from thermal aging and irradiation damage simultaneously,which can induce microstructural evolution and hardening of the *** it is quite difficult to achieve this simul-taneous process out of the pile,two kinds of combined experiments,i.e.,post-irradiation thermal aging and post-aging irradiation were performed on 308 L stainless steel weld metals in this *** interactive effect of thermal aging and proton irradiation on microstructural evolution and hardening ofδ-ferrite in 308 L weld metal was investigated by combining atom probe tomography,transmission elec-tron microscopy and nanoindentation *** results revealed that thermal aging could eliminate the dislocation loops induced by irradiation and affect the phase transition process by accelerating spinodal decomposition and G-phase precipitation,thus enhancing hardening of irradiatedδ-*** the effect of irradiation on the microstructure and hardening of thermally agedδ-ferrite,however,intensive collision cascades can intensify G-phase precipitation and dislocation loop formation but decrease spinodal decomposition,leading to a limited effect on hardening of thermally agedδ-***,the interaction of thermal aging and irradiation can promote G-phase ***,the interaction can causeδ-ferrite hardening,which is mainly influenced by spinodal decomposition,followed by G-phase and dislocation loops,where spinodal decomposition and G-phase cause hardening by inducing strain fields.

Serrated flow phenomenon has been widely observed among different metals due to the potential influence on their *** tensile tests of nickel-based superalloy GH536 were carried out at loading rates of 0.06,0.60,3.60,and 36.00 mm·min^(-1)at room temperature,*** tensile stress-strain curves demonstrate repetitive and discontinuous yielding behavior,namely serrated *** is observed that the stress-strain curves were dominated by type B serration,and original annealing twin boundaries(TBs)were distorted to various degrees under comparatively different lower tensile *** contrast,the TBs almost disappear,and the type B serrations become smoother and regular under the higher loading *** phenomenon can be attributed to the interactions between TBs and dislocations during tensile *** effects of the mobile and immobile dislocations illustrate the unsteady amplitude of serrations observed in stress-strain *** electron microscope images of tested pieces reveal the interaction of dislocation and TB,with dislocation tangling around the TBs.

Ada-FFL:Adaptive computing fairness federated learning

As the scale of federated learning expands,solving the Non-IID data problem of federated learning has become a key challenge of *** existing solutions generally aim to solve the overall performance improvement of all clients;however,the overall performance improvement often sacrifices the performance of certain clients,such as clients with less *** fairness may greatly reduce the willingness of some clients to participate in federated *** order to solve the above problem,the authors propose Ada-FFL,an adaptive fairness federated aggregation learning algorithm,which can dynamically adjust the fairness coefficient according to the update of the local models,ensuring the convergence performance of the global model and the fairness between federated learning *** integrating coarse-grained and fine-grained equity solutions,the authors evaluate the deviation of local models by considering both global equity and individual equity,then the weight ratio will be dynamically allocated for each client based on the evaluated deviation value,which can ensure that the update differences of local models are fully considered in each round of ***,by combining a regularisation term to limit the local model update to be closer to the global model,the sensitivity of the model to input perturbations can be reduced,and the generalisation ability of the global model can be *** numerous experiments on several federal data sets,the authors show that our method has more advantages in convergence effect and fairness than the existing baselines.

Impact of Blade-Flapping Vibration on Aerodynamic Characteristics of Wind Turbines under Yaw Conditions

Although the aerodynamic loading of wind turbine blades under various conditions has been widely studied,the radial distribution of load along the blade under various yaw conditions and with blade flapping phenomena is poorly *** study aims to investigate the effects of second-order flapwise vibration on the mean and fluctuation characteristics of the torque and axial thrust of wind turbines under yaw conditions using computational fluid dynamics(CFD).In the CFD model,the blades are segmented radially to comprehensively analyze the distribution patterns of torque,axial load,and tangential *** following results are obtained.(i)After applying flapwise vibration,the torque and axial thrust of wind turbines decrease in relation to those of the rigid model,with significantly increased fluctuations.(ii)Flapwise vibration causes the blades to reciprocate along the axial direction,altering the local angle of attack and velocity of the blades relative to the incoming wind *** results in the contraction of the torque region from a circular shape to a complex“gear”shape,which is accompanied by evident oscillations.(iii)Compared to the tangential load,the axial load on the blades is more sensitive to flapwise vibration although both exhibit significantly enhanced *** study not only reveals the impact of flapwise vibration on wind turbine blade performance,including the reduction of torque and axial thrust and increased operational fluctuations,but also clarifies the radial distribution patterns of blade aerodynamic characteristics,which is of great significance for optimizing wind turbine blade design and reducing fatigue risks.

Optimization of Product Distribution for MIP Units Using Data Mining

Based on data from a petrochemical company’s MIP unit over the past three years,19 input variables and 2 output variables were selected for modeling using the maximum information coefficient and Pearson correlation coefficient among 155 variables,which included properties of feedstock oil and spent catalyst,operational variables,and material *** distillation range variables were reduced using factor analysis,and the feedstock oils were clustered into three types using the K-means++*** feedstock oil type was then used as an input variable for *** XGBoost model and a back propagation(BP)neural network model with a structure of 20-15-15-2 were developed to predict the combined yield of gasoline and propylene,as well as the coke *** the test set,the BP neural network model demonstrated better fitting and generalization abilities with a mean absolute percentage error and determination coefficient of 1.48%and 0.738,respectively,compared to the XGBoost *** was therefore chosen for further optimization *** genetic algorithm was utilized to optimize operational variables in order to increase the combined yield of gasoline and propylene while controlling the growth of coke *** commercial test results in the MIP unit showed an average increase of 1.39 percentage points for the combined yield of gasoline and propylene and an average decrease of 0.11 percentage points for coke *** results indicate that the model effectively improves the combined yield of gasoline and propylene while controlling the increase in coke yield.

Influence of sea-land breeze on the formation and dissipation of severe dense fog and its burst reinforcement in the Yellow Sea coastal area,China

Based on the global reanalysis data of the National Centers for Environmental Prediction(NCEP)/National Center for Atmospheric Research,the surface meteorological observation data,sounding data and satellite observation data,this paper comprehensively analyzes the evolution process and formation mechanism of a persistent severe dense fog process occurred on February 15–17,2015 in Yancheng,eastern *** the numerical simulation experiment of Weather Research and Forecast(WRF)model,we further analyze the impact of sea-land breeze on the formation and burst reinforcement of *** show that the precipitation caused by the southwesterly airflow in front of the upper-level trough and the low-pressure inverted trough are conducive to the formation of early rain fog,while the nighttime clear radiance under the control of surface cold high and the infiltration of weak cold advection are conducive to the formation and development of later radiation-advection *** WRF model simulates the fog evolution process,which is basically consistent with the actual fog area,and the simulation results are credible to a certain *** simulation results show that the establishment of sea breeze has an advection cooling effect on the near surface layer,which is conducive to the formation and development of the inversion layer on the near surface,providing stable stratification conditions for the formation and burst reinforcement of *** one hand,the strengthening of sea breeze circulation can continuously transport water vapor to the study *** the other,the occurrence of ultra-low level jet is favorable for the accumulation of low-level water *** the same time,the inversion intensity further strengthens,which is in favor of the burst reinforcement and long-term maintenance of fog.

Ginsenoside Rg3 Promotes the survival and Migration of Trophoblast Cells in a Rat Model of Gestational Hypertension by Regulating miR-100a/Insulin Growth Factor-2 Axis

Due to its highly insidious and rapid progression,deep tissue pressure injury(DTPI)is a clinical *** previous study found that DTPI may be a skeletal muscle injury dominated by macrophage immune dysfunction due to excessive iron *** extracellular matrix(dECM)hydrogel promotes skeletal muscle injury ***,its role in po-larizing macrophages and regulating iron metabolism in DTPI remains ***,porcine dECM hydrogel was prepared,and its therapeutic function and mechanism in repairing DTPI were *** stimulus of dECM hydrogel toward RAW264.7 cells resulted in a significantly higher percentage of CD2o6+macrophages and notably decreased intracellular divalent iron *** mice DTPI model,dECM hydrogel treatment promoted M1 to M2 macrophage conversion,improved iron metabolism and reduced oxidative stress in the early stage of *** the remodeling phase,the dECM hydrogel remarkably enhanced revascularization and accelerated skeletal muscle ***,the immunomodulation of dEcM hydrogels in vivo was mainly involved in the P13k/Akt signaling pathway,as revealed by GO and KEGG pathway analysis,which may ameliorate the iron deposition and promote the healing of *** findings indicate that dECM hydrogel is promising in skeletal muscle repair,inflammation resolution and tissue injury healing by effectively restoring macrophage immune homeostasis and normalizing iron metabolism.

Coherent optical emission of free induction decay (FID) excited by the multiple-photon resonance has been recently observed in nitrogen ions produced by intense femtosecond laser *** we report that orbit angular momentum (OAM) of the pump laser pulses can be transferred to the much longer pulsed free induction decay emission with the OAM *** was found that when the pump laser frequency approaches the fraction of the 391.4 nm emission (ν_(0)/5),an FID emission is emitted whereas its topological charge was identified to be 5 times of the pump *** to the reduced laser intensity with a vortex pump compared to the conventional Gaussian beam,the resonant pump laser wavelength presents a redshift,and the FID signal is significantly weaker.

Impact of inorganic and organic pollutants from a Belgian wastewater treatment plant on adjacent surface and groundwaters

Under the pressure of global droughts and water shortage,it is essential to evolve toward a sustainable and robust water *** possible avenue is the maximum reuse of treated wastewater,but the quality of which determines its ***,inorganic(Cd,Pb,Cr,Ni,Cu,and As)and organic(xenoestrogens and polycyclic aromatic contaminants,PACs)contaminants were monthly monitored in an effluent of the wastewater treatment plant(WWTP),the surrounding surface waters and the local groundwater in *** and particulate concentrations of inorganic contaminants in these water bodies were *** addition,Diffusive Gradients in Thin-films(DGT)was used in situ to obtain bioavailable metal *** the WWTP effluent and surface waters,only Ni exceeds the Annual Average-Environmental Quality Standard(AA-EQS),while in the groundwater,dissolved As was the predominant ***,in the surface and effluent waters the highest lability degrees were observed for Cd and *** concentrations of these metal species in the effluent water were lower than in the other water ***-organic pollutants,xenoestrogens and PACs were analyzed by dual Estrogen and Aryl hydrocarbon Receptor-Chemical Activated LUciferase gene eXpression(ER&AhR-CALUX)*** the annual averaged(AA)bioequivalent concentration of E2(0.18 ng/L)is below the AA-EQS standard(0.4 ng/L),and the bioequivalent concentration of benzo[a]pyrene never exceeded the maximum admissible concentration(MAC),the reclamation and reuse of treated wastewater for groundwater replenishment and agricultural irrigation should pose no environmental problems,at least in a short-term.
