In this work, the traditional method of potential of mean force (PMF) is improved for describing the protein-protein interactions. This method is developed at atomic level and is distance-dependent. Compared with the traditional method, our model can reasonably consider the effects of the environ- mental factors. With this modification, we can obtain more reasonable and accurate pair potentials, which are the pre-requisite for precisely describing the protein-protein interactions and can help us to recognize the interaction rules of residues in protein systems. Our method can also be applied to other fields of protein science, e.g., protein fold recognition, structure prediction and prediction of thermo- stability.

Coral materials can replace concrete aggregates and achieve material self sufficiency for reducing the construction costs of island *** paper studies the effects of different mineral admixtures on the properties of coral aggregate concrete(CAC).The chloride concentration of CAC after different erosion times is measured using the potentiometric method,and the porosity of the CAC is ca lculated using thermogravimetric and drying *** chloride concentration of the CAC presents a two-phases dis *** peak chloride concentration fol-lowed a power function,increasing with the erosion *** chloride diffusion coefficient of CAC is 7.9%-37.5%larger than that of ordinary aggregate concrete,and the addition of 15% fly ash and 5%silica fume can significantly reduce the chloride diffusion coefficient,with a maximum reduction of 45.0%.The porosity obtained via the thermogravimetric and drying methods is well *** porosity has a strong negative correlation with the compressive strength and a strong positive correlation with the chloride diffusion coefficient.

The utility of artificial microRNAs（amiRNAs） to induce loss of gene function has been reported for many plant species,but expression efficiency of the different amiRNA constructs in different transgenic plants was less predictable,In this study,expressions of amiRNAs through the gene backbone of Arabidopsis miR168a were examined by both Agrobacterium-mediated transient expression and stable plant genetic transformation.A corresponding trend in expression of amiRNAs by the same amiRNA constructs between the transient and the stable expression systems was observed in the *** genetic transformation of the constructs that were highly expressible in amiRNAs in the transient agro-infiltration assays resulted in generation of transgenic lines with high level of *** provides a simple method for rapid and effective selection of amiRNA constructs used for a time-consuming genetic transformation in plants.

Azimuthal variations in site response can provide a good insight into the site amplification and seismic conditions of geohazard *** this study,multiple directional site response methods,including D-Arias(Directional-Arias),D-SER(Directional-Shaking energy ratio),D-HVSR(Directional-Horizontal to vertical spectral ratio)and D-SSR(Directional–Standard spectral ratio),are adopted to analyse seismic data of the 2013 Lushan Ms 7.0 earthquake captured by the self-established Lengzhuguan(LZG)station which consists of the complex topography of isolated ridge,large mountain and some typical *** results show that the isolated ridge could cause stronger site responses than the large mountain,and whose pronounced response direction is roughly perpendicular to its *** the growth of elevation,the siteresonant frequency *** different microreliefs on the mountain cause different site responses,which present as protruding slope>linear *** site response mainly exists on the surficial layer of the mountain and shows that with the increase of the distance to mountain surface,the site response gets weaker,the site resonant frequency gets higher,and the pronounced response direction is perpendicular to its ridgeline.

Background: The diagnosis of drug-induced autoimmune hepatitis(DIAIH) and its differentiation from idiopathic autoimmune hepatitis(AIH) is challenging. This study aimed to differentiate DIAIH from AIH by comparing the biochemical changes, histological features, and frequencies of CD4~+Foxp3~+CD25+/-regulatory T cells(Tregs) in liver tissues or peripheral blood ***: A total of 15 DIAIH patients and 24 AIH patients who underwent liver biopsies at initial presentation were enrolled in this study. The liver histological changes were assessed by HE staining. The phenotypic recognition and distribution of CD4~+Foxp3~+CD25+/-Tregs in liver tissues were evaluated by single/double immunostains in serial sections. The CD4~+Foxp3~+CD25+/-Tregs in peripheral blood were analyzed by flow ***: The median values of ALT and AST were 404.50 U/L and 454.10 U/L in DIAIH patients and309.50 U/L and 315.00 U/L in AIH patients, respectively. More importantly, for the first time we found that patients with DIAIH had higher levels of serum ALT and AST, more severe degree of lobular inflammation,higher frequencies of zone 3 necrosis and higher number of lobular CD4~+Foxp3~+CD25~-Tregs compared with AIH(P linically helpful in differentiating these two diseases in their early stage.

1 Introduction Effective and timely reperfusion of infarcted coronary artery is crucial to the treatment of patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI).[1,2]Current guidelines highly recommend that the door-to-balloon(D2B)time,as a quality metric of primary percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)in patients with STEMI,should be≤90 min and preferably less than 60 min.[3,4]However,significant variations from guidelines exist in the real world practices at hospitals.

Objective:To study the influence of MicroRNA-lOb on proliferation and invasion of human low metastatic lung cancer cell 95-C and its ***:lipofectamine MicroRNA-lOb eukaryotic expression plasmid was transfected into *** experiment group was divided into blank control group,empty vector transfected group and MicroRNA-lOb transfected *** time quantitative RT-PCR was used to detect the expression of MicroRNA-lOb and KLF4mRNA *** of cells were detected by cell proliferation assay,invasion of the delected the cell Transwell experiments,the expression of KLF4 protein was detected in Western blotting ***:The proliferation rate of MicroRNA-lOb piasmid transfection group increased significantly after transfection,invasion and migration ability enhancement,by comparison,there are statistically significant differences in the blank control group and negative control group(P0.05).Conclusions:MicroRNA-l0b may promote proliferation and invasion of 95-C cells by down regulating the expression of KLF4 protein.

AIM： To explore the expansion and differentiation of hepatocytoid cell induced from myeloid mesenchymal stem cell （MSC） in vib＇o, in order to find suitable resource of hepatocytes for bioartiflcial liver or liver transplantation. METHODS： The rat myeloid MSC was isolated and divided into three groups which were cultured by Friedensteion method, and then were induced by culture fluid, culture fluid plus cholestatic serum and culture fluid plus hepatocyte growth factor （HGF）, respectively. Hepatocytoid cell as well as expression of CK18 and AFP was observed by immunohistochemistry. REsuLTS： After the induction for 21 d, hepatocytoid cell was observed, and its expression of CK18 and AFP was detected by immunohistochemistry in MSC cultured with cholestatic serum. Furthermore, on the 35^th d, albumin mRNA was expressed in the cell, suggesting the inducing effect was similar to that by HGF.CONCLUSION： Rat myeloid MSC can differentiate into hepatocyte lineage under appropriate condition. This method is easy to operate.

Influence of serum adiponectin level and SNP +45 polymorphism of adiponectin gene on myocardial fibrosis

Adiponectin plays an important role in the development of hypertension, atherosclerosis, and cardio- myocyte hypertrophy, but very little was known about the influence of serum adiponectin or the adiponectin gene polymorphism on myocardial fibrosis. Our study investigates the influence of the SNP ＋45 polymorphism of the adi- ponectin gene and serum levels of adiponectin on myocardial fibrosis in patients with essential hypertension. A case-control study was conducted on 165 hypertensive patients and 126 normotensive healthy controls. The geno- types of adiponectin gene polymorphisms were detected by the polymerase chain reaction （PCR） method. Serum concentrations of procollagen were measured by a double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay （EliSA） in all subjects. The integrated backscatter score （IBS） was measured in the left ventricular myocardium using echocardiography. The serum levels of adiponectin in hypertensive patients were significantly lower than those in the normal control group （（2.69±1.0） μg/ml vs. （4.21±2.89） μg/ml, respectively, P〈0.001）. The serum levels of type-Ⅰ procoilagen carboxyl end peptide （PiCP） and type-Ⅲprocollagen ammonia cardinal extremity peptide （PIIINP） in the hypertension group were significantly higher than those in the control group. In the hypertension group, serum levels of adiponectin were significantly and negatively related to the average acoustic intensity and corrected acoustic intensity of the myocardium （t=0.46 and 0.61, respectively, P〈0.05 for both）. The serum levels of PICP and PIIINP were sig- nificantly different among the three genotypes of SNP ＋45 （P〈0.01）. Logistic regression analyses showed that sex and genotype （GG＋GT） were the major risk factors of myocardial fibrosis in hypertensive patients （OR=5.343 and 3.278, respectively, P〈0.05）. These data suggest that lower levels of adiponectin and SNP ＋45 polymorphism of the adi- ponectin gene are likely to play an important role in myocardial fibrosis
