In this geo-statistical analysis of change detection,we illustrate the evolution of the built-up environment in Shanghai at the street-block *** on two TerraSAR-X image stacks with 36 and 15 images,covering the city centre of Shanghai for the time period from 2008 to 2015,a set of coherence images was created using a small baseline *** road network from Open Street Map,a volunteered geographic information product,serves as the input dataset to create street-blocks.A street-block is surrounded by roads and resembles a ground parcel,a real estate property–a cadastral *** coherence information is aggregated to these street-blocks for each observation and the variation is analysed over *** analysis of spatial autocorrelation reveals clusters of similar *** result is a detailed map of Shanghai highlighting areas of *** argue that the aggregation and grouping of synthetic aperture radar coherence image information to real-world entities(street-blocks)is comprehensible and relevant to the urban planning ***,this research is a contribution to the community of urban planners,designers,and government agencies who want to monitor the development of the urban landscape.

As environmental concerns from fossil fuel consumption intensify, large-scale energy storage becomes imperative for the integration of renewable sources like wind, hydro, and solar with the electrical *** flow batteries, particularly those employing organic molecules, are positioned as a key technology for this purpose. This review explores the growing field of symmetric organic redox flow batteries(ORFBs) within this context. Unlike traditional asymmetric designs based on unique active materials for each electrode, symmetric ORFBs involve a single bipolar species for both electrodes. This review highlights the benefits of a symmetric design, and categorizes five distinct classes of organic bipolar molecules used in both aqueous and non-aqueous solvents. By providing a comprehensive overview of their cell cycling and performance characteristics, the strengths and weaknesses of the diverse categories of bipolar molecules are highlighted for both solvent systems, as are opportunities for future development. This should guide new research directions and advance the development of practical symmetric ORFBs.

Transglycanases（endotransglycosylases） cleave a polysaccharide（donor-substrate） in mid-chain, and then transfer a portion onto another poly-or oligosaccharide（acceptor-substrate）. Such enzymes contribute to plant cellwall assembly and/or re-structuring. We sought a general method for revealing novel homo- and hetero-transglycanases, applicable to diverse polysaccharides and oligosaccharides, separating transglycanase-generated3 Hpolysaccharides from unreacted3H-oligosaccharides—the former immobilized（on filter-paper, silica-gel or glassfiber）,the latter eluted. On filter-paper, certain polysaccharides [e.g.（1!3, 1!4）-b-D-glucans] remained satisfactorily adsorbed when water-washed; others（e.g. pectins） were partially lost. Many oligosaccharides（e.g. arabinan-, galactan-, xyloglucan-based） were successfully eluted in appropriate solvents, but others（e.g. [3H]xylohexaitol, [3H]mannohexaitol[3H]cellohexaitol） remained immobile. On silica-gel, all3 Holigosaccharides left an immobile ‘ghost’ spot（contaminating any3H-polysaccharides）, which was diminished but not prevented by additives e.g. sucrose or Triton X-100. The best stratum was glassfiber（GF）, onto which the reactionmixture was dried then washed in 75% ethanol. Washing led to minimal loss or lateral migration of3H-polysaccharides if conducted by slow percolation of acidified ethanol. The effectiveness of GF-blotting was well demonstrated for chara vulgaris transb-mannanase. In conclusion, our novel GF-blotting technique ef ficiently frees transglycanase-generated3H-polysaccharides from unreacted3H-oligosaccharides,enabling high-throughput screening of multiple postulated transglycanase activities utilising chemically diverse donorand acceptor-substrates.

Ore forming processes involve the redistribution of heat, mass and momentum by a wide range of processes operating at different time and length scales. The fastest process at any given length scale tends to be the dominant control. Applying this principle to the array of physical processes that operate within magma flow pathways leads to some key insights into the origins of magmatic Ni-cu-PGE sulfide ore deposits. A high proportion of mineralised systems, including those in the super-giant Noril'sk-Talnakh camp, are formed in small conduit intrusions where assimilation of country rock has played a major role. Evidence of this process is reflected in the common association of sulfides with varitextured contaminated host rocks containing xenoliths in varying stages of assimilation. Direct incorporation of S-bearing country rock xenoliths is likely to be the dominant mechanism for generating sulfide liquids in this setting. However, the processes of melting or dissolving these xenoliths is relatively slow compared with magma flow rates and, depending on xenolith lithology and the composition of the carrier magma, slow compared with settling and accumulation rates. chemical equilibration between sulfide droplets and silicate magma is slower still, as is the process of dissolving sulfide liquid into initially undersaturated silicate magmas. Much of the transport and deposition of sulfide in the carrier magmas may occur while sulfide is still incorporated in the xenoliths, accounting for the common association of magmatic sulfide-matrix ore breccias and contaminated "taxitic" host rocks. Effective upgrading of so-formed sulfide liquids would require repetitive recycling by processes such as reentrainment, back flow or gravity flow operating over the lifetime of the magma transport system as a whole.
